I finally finished LRff13 after months of delaying and oh my god i cant handle the feels of the ending right now its just so beautiful 😭

omg wasn’t it worth the months of waiting??? That ending is so beautiful and there’s so many emotions to process but IT’S SO PERFECT AND SUCH A NICE HAPPY ENDING ;sdkljf;alwiejf;laiwjef

the first (and only, actually lol) time I played through the ending, I cried for six hours straight. a part of this was because I’d been avoiding spoilers so after I finished the game, I immediately went on tumblr to catch up on all the OTP goodness I’d missed, but also just because I LOVE THIS TRILOGY AND THAT LITTLE FAMILY AND I WAS JUST TOO EMOTIONAL FOREVER!!!!

it’s why I haven’t watched the ending since, cause I know I’d cry again forever despite being dead inside and I can’t handle that ;al;skdjf;lwijef

Hey rs, I've finally gotten myself to begin writing a hoperai fic after weeks of thinking. This is gonna be my first fanfic ever, so I wanted to know if you had any useful tips for me that I could use? You're fics are by far the ones I love the most in this fandom (cuz im a sucker for fluffy goodness)!

one of the best tips I could give about writing fic (that I should really follow myself lmao) is write what YOU want to read! that makes it a thousand times more fun to write and if you enjoy writing something, I think it really comes through and in turn, everybody will enjoy it more….it’s probably why I write so much of that fluffy goodness~*~

proofreading is your friend, another piece of advice I should take myself. I can’t tell you how many times I look at a fic that’s 4+  years old and see a typo or a sentence that makes no sense :))))))) everybody makes mistakes and it’s not the end of the world, but at least give it a look before you post it!

this might or might not be helpful depending on the plot/type of fic, but DIALOGUE is always good! it can be fun and more engaging than mere description. plus, it always forces you to do paragraph breaks….

….which is another big thing. I see this a lot and idk if people just lose the formatting from site to site or what, but if I see a fic that’s just a big wall of text, I’ll immediately back out. you need a paragraph break for every new line of dialogue at the very least. if you’re unsure, I’m sure there’s places where you can look up where you ~technically~ need paragraph breaks, but I’m not an English teacher so I honestly couldn’t say for sure lol

this is another piece of advice that I should take myself, but have fun with it!!! there’s really nothing quite like bringing the best OTP to life with your own words and imagining them in the perfect life they deserve. we shall all rewrite the canon, darnit!

When Hope and Light become a couple or finally get married, do you think they'd start calling each other stuff like "sweetie" or "honey" or just call themselves by their names?

I’ve actually thought about this a lot :D

I don’t think they’d ever decide for or against it - it probably doesn’t even come up at all, because it’s not a huge deal and neither one of them are the type to use those kind of pet names anyway....maybe they just want to differ themselves from Snow and Serah LOL

but little by little, they slowly become more and more affectionate and more comfortable with being like that. they’re still pretty private people, but when you’re that much in love, you’ve gotta let it out somehow ;D

and then one day, Hope doesn’t even realize that he says, “Sweetie, could you pass me a pen?”

Lightning just raises an eyebrow but hands over a pen, and then later on goes, “What’d you want to eat tonight, honey?” completely without thinking

Hope grins and smooches her, saying that he suddenly feels like going out to celebrate~*~

I have this headcanon where Hope's biggest fear is his son/daughter growing up hating him since he spends a lot of time at work. Ya know just like how he hated Bartholomew when he was younger. What do you think?

I haven’t really explored this idea at all, but I think it could be interesting…I feel like in the case of Bartholomew and Hope, Nora was sort of a buffer because she knew that Bartholomew cared in his own clumsy way and presumably thought she’d live to see those two work things out eventually. maybe she thought she had to explain things when Hope was older (’cause, y’know, teenagers rarely have the concept of realizing that people show love in different ways, it’s all gotta be dramatic with them) or maybe she was hoping that Hope would eventually open his eyes

but I think that if Lightning noticed something similar happening, she’d step in right away. maybe not necessarily to Seven their kid, but she’d tell Hope, “Hey, you’re working too much and our daughter’s starting to have doubts, you need to scale back on the workload.”

and this is especially since she made the same mistake with Serah - there’s no way she’d let it happen again. I don’t think Hope would really have much to worry about since Lightning’s looking out for him :’)

I think it’d be an interesting fic idea if history repeated itself and whatnot, so someone who’s not as lazy as me should write it ohohoho
