SATURDAY 9 SEPTEMBER 2017
In the morning, we had the visit of Kim-Leigh Pontin an artist currently working on a commission for the London Brain Project. She came to ask us follow-up questions so she can finish her piece for the exhibition which will take place later this month in London. She took a picture of us (see below).
After we stepped out to catch a glimpse of my sister who took part in the Great River Race, London’s River Marathon. See pictures below.
And then we had a late lunch at the Yurt Café in Limehouse. I was exhausted when we came back. Rachel said that I had a few seizures too. But overall a good day!

On Saturday the #bear & I joined Julia @vitalarts @tate for the Bead My Brain workshop where we created our own necklace using colour coded beads relating to a colour coded map of the brain. We also took part in Mapping Memories and shared recollections associated with visual triggers and their connection to key words. Great fun for both of us! Thanks Julia @voglart
