Peter’s mouth opened slightly at the sight of all your weapons, “how can someone so tiny use all of these?” “How can someone so old be so goddamn childish?” You teased back, putting your hair up into a tight pony tail. Peter laughed awkwardly before picking up one of Natasha’s many black accessories. “What does this do?” He held it up to his eye to peek in the small hole. Natasha turned quickly on her heel and snatched it out of his boyish hands. “Peter! Don’t touch that, you could actually die if one of these shot out at you.” Peter’s mouth went into an O shape, you patted his cheek “Don’t worry honey, you’ll get used to it.” You weren't suited in anything special like Natasha’s body suit or Vision’s cape, you just had one skinny jeans a small jacket and your glasses that Tony had made for you. “So are you ever going to explain to me what those glasses for?” You and Peter sat next to each other on the Jet, closely whispering and not to disturb anyone else. You huffed, taking off your glasses and wiping them on your shirt. “Do you want the long version or the short version?” Peter shrugged, “Whatever you’ll give me. I guess.” A shy smile spread on your lips and you leaned back to rest against the seat. “When I was three or four, I was taken by these...scientist let’s call them, well they did some tests on me and I basically became their little rag doll. I was there for maybe a year before Uncle Clint and Aunt Natasha came and bailed me out.” Natasha snorted upon listening to your story, “It’s true.” Peter looked back at you, “So, what happened y’know after they tested on you?” You raised your eyebrow before lifting your hand. Your hand became stiff as you focused on directing all your energy into one motion, Peter couldn’t even register what was happening before he was floating in mid-air, dangling in front of you like a spider. You set him down gently back on the chair, “That is awesome!” Peter gushed. “But the glasses?” The glasses appeared to look like regular glasses one would use to read billboards or books, you put them on and clicked a small button on the side. The glasses instantly tinted black, “Well. For one, I have crappy eyesight. And two, they help me figure out how much of my kinetic energy it takes to lift that and well... Crush it let’s just say.” Peter’s mouth was left a gaped and you chuckled. You quickly glanced at your phone and saw a text message bubble from your one and only uncle telling you, and his exact words, “Get the hell home, or I swear I’m going to destroy your phone and your precious boy band pictures.” Your fingers typed a quick winky face, then you shoved your phone back in your bag.

You stood next to Tony, your glasses placed on the brink of your nose as you stared at him. “You’ve been busy.” Captain gestured to both you and Peter. “And you’ve been a complete idiot. Dragging in Clint, rescuing Wanda from a place she doesn’t even want to leave. I even had to pull (Y/N) out of her private trainings. She’s like a ticking time bomb, both as a teenager and as her telekinesis. So come with us. NOW.” Captain stayed silent, listening into his ear piece. “IS THAT (Y/N). TELL HER TO GO HOME. GOD DAMNIT. (Y/N). (Y/N)!” Steve winced and pulled the ear piece out a little bit, “Clint. Uh. Says he wants you to go home.” Your eyebrow raised, “You can tell him to suck it.” Steve put his earpiece back in to ear, “DID SHE TELL ME TO SUCK IT? I SWEAR TO-” Clint cut himself off, and shot an arrow at his hands to release them from Peter’s web. Thus began the never ending fight.

Your glasses called that the van’s nearest you would require less energy. So you flung them piece by piece at the other team, you were shot out of concentration when you were tackled to the ground. “Ow!” Uncle Clint picked you up, “Do you even know what the hell you are doing?” You nodded your head and threw punches at him which he easily dodged. “Your mom is gonna be pissed at me!” You tried to kick him in the stomach, but he caught your leg, “Do you not listen to me? You’re just as stubborn as..” You grabbed his bow and tried to yank it from him. “(Y/N)- (Y/N) Stop it dammit!” You kicked out his legs getting him on his back. He groaned, and you remembered he had thrown out his back a few weeks ago. “Oops.” Uncle Clint squinted his eyes at you, “I swear to god if we weren’t related I would’ve kicked your ass.” He grabbed your leg making you fall too. “Wait, does this mean I can’t come to Sunday’s dinner?” Clint stayed down and groaned “Laura would kill me if you didn’t.” “And is Aunt Laura making that corn bread again?” “Well shit (Y/N), hell if I know!” You both stood, Uncle Clint brushed off some rubble and dust from your shoulders, “Hello? (Y/N) throwing some cars would be nice about now.” Tony spoke into your ear with clear annoyance on his tongue.
