not to play devil’s advocate for fuckin. Crisp Ratt but, I’m pretty sure he’s trying to do a NYC accent for Mario. He literally only has 1 line in the trailer(???), “Mushroom Kingdom, here we come!” And the way he says “here” is kind of, “heeah,” like a New York accent would be.

It’s definitely not cheesy Italian like it should be but I’m gonna reserve full judgement until I can hear more than 1 line, I guess.

I’ve been working on this for some days. Because of Aawesomepenguin’s latest post. I know how the Sonic movie goes. While we have known some stuff of it already before. But not in that much detail. 

This is basically my what if idea for a Sonic movie. I’ve made two of these before. The first being with Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic, the 2nd I’d like to called the, “Chaos Draft” because it was a loose adaption of Sonic Adventure and borrowing heavily from the fake Reddit info leak I’ve talked about before. 

Really I’ll give my honest thoughts on the Sonic movie when I see it personally. Because I don’t wanna just slam a whole bunch of negativity on it. But I’m mainly disappointed by the fact of the direction it went. I might end up loving the film. Yet I would of liked something like a more serious take on the franchise. Let me talk deep here mate.

I’ve wanted to talk about this despite this has been said in my head. I would love if it Sonic was made cool again. Which is a intriguing topic because hasn’t Sonic always been cool? It depends on how you see it. Which is why I seem more serious on a Sonic movie adaptation than other video game adaptions. Because the franchise means a lot to me. Which is why I want the movie to be good and hopefully the reception gets better because of it.

Despite I’ve learned I shouldn’t do a condensed loose version of Sonic Adventure and whatever else. My biggest inspirations for this new version of my Sonic movie was taken from several things. Such as my love for the 2018 movie adaption of Rampage by Brad Peyton. Which helped inspired this vision in a weird way. 

Along with Paul W.S. Anderson’s RE films mainly the first because of well those films aren’t big. Mainly low budget. So I decided to not take a risk with Chris Pratt as the lead character. Especially there were other characters in actors and characters. But also the mis-mash of ideas which is risky. Considering the first RE movie took elements from RE 1 and 2 and I wanted to try something like that.

The other inspiration was Sonic Adventure 2. Such as using elements from that story but not all of it where it be a direct adaption. This is the reason why I’ve been playing the game more(Mainly if I recall on the Dreamcast). To get inspiration for this story. While Adventure 2 suffers problems such as with writing and other things, it’s a game I personally love. Including this is a reason why Rouge is here(Along with the reason I want Lisa voicing that character), and other elements as well. Also considering when the Sonic movie we were getting was getting written. The Adventure games such as Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was an inspiration. Basically this classic image here.

Basically I wanted to make a outline while it’s not a draft. But a story I was happy with and I thought would make a good start off for Sonic movie. A story I felt would of been good as a stand alone in a way but it might get sequels anyway. Which is why it’s not just a simple origin story you have Sonic, Eggman, Tails, Amy Rose, Rouge, Metal Sonic, Silver Sonic, the GUN Commander, and the president(with his secretary of course). Especially that fake Reddit leaked story was in mind with the areas. But still it’s a story I feel personally happy with. Despite I have not written a script but it’s the outline I like.

In a similar way to the 2018 Rampage movie. Which while there are other nice and good video game movie adaptions as well such as Detective Pikachu. My direction for a film like this(it would be directed by someone else or whatever) is gonna be a lot more bad ass, a bit more serious, but most importantly a lot more emotional. 

Especially to aim for a PG-13 rating that older audiences can enjoy. Along with the other goal to understand who Sonic is as a character when he’s involved in a more serious situation where the world is kind of against him, he’s been framed, Robotnik and the, “Metal Brothers” are out to kill him. With Ian being this surrogate of like the fans that love Sonic(which may seem weird as hell), but also being a person that develops this close bond with this creature because they are very alike. Including Ian will risk his life to make sure this creature who has become his best friend, almost like a brother won’t die. But also with these other characters too such as Tails and Amy.

Including the other point is to make a surrogate better than well Chris Thorndyke because he’s a character that I felt should of been better. Yet Sonic is still the main protagonist with Ian being a deuteragonist. It’s to show in a setting like this humans can be pretty good characters if handled right. That’s why he’s there too in a way.

While I have thought of the idea people would look at the, “Make Sonic cool again” as a way of it being brought back to levels of Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic 06. But more so again like the Dreamcast era and some modern games and some classic games thrown in there a bit too. 

Besides I think I’ve made too many of these. I’m officially gonna stop because I’m kind of happy with what I did. With this idea because it’s I guess almost everything I want. It’s a reasonable starting point for a Sonic movie. Because it has things I like and would like to see in a movie. So I’m pleased with it. I’m being an annoyance to folks anyway making this shit. Because it seems disrespectful I make these while a movie is coming out anyway that’s already completed in a way. Despite we are getting a redesign. 

But again here’s my what if idea for a Sonic movie. Whether it could be at Paramount, or even at Warner Bros with Legendary Pictures. I’ve rambled on too long I talk too much. 

“Sometimes you gotta go fast! In a action packed adventure based upon the popular and iconic video game series, Sonic The Hedgehog.

The world is in serious danger when an insane scientist by the name of Dr. Ivo Robotnik(Jeffrey Dean Morgan) plans to take it over. His goal is to use the power of the mysterious Chaos Emeralds to power his machines. To ensure his victory, Robotnik has made certain robots that will make sure he is able to obtain his goal for world domination.

Now because of being mistaken for a villainous robot who looks like him. Sonic(Tom Holland), the world’s fastest hedgehog is on the run from the military. Along the way he meets a young GUN soldier Ian Andrews(Brenton Thwaites), a man who wants to help everyone the best he can. 

With them teaming up, on the run from the military known as GUN, and to get the Chaos Emeralds and stop Robotnik from achieving his goal. But during this time as they fight through a ever changing battlefield. Ian must make sure not only help stop a global catastrophe. Yet to also save Sonic who he’s developed an unshakable bond with. Especially from the horrifying threat of Metal Sonic”.

Characters.

Sonic The Hedgehog. Voiced by Tom Holland. A 21 year old hedgehog who’s cocky but kind and chill. 4 feet tall. The world’s fastest hedgehog who while being framed by Metal Sonic, wants to save the planet from Robotnik. Even if it means risking his own life helping these humans who don’t understand who he is as a person. Because he knows it’s the right thing to do/

Ian Andrews. Played by Brenton Thwaites. The 21 year old GUN Private who helps assist Sonic to save the planet. A young man who joined GUN because he wanted to simply helped people in his area. While only a Private assigned in his home area to defend it. He is courageous despite being afraid of certain enemies. Especially because he wants to simply help everyone the best he can. Including the blue hedgehog who he develops an unshakable bond with, almost like a brother. He knows Sonic is innocent and risks his life to reveal the truth.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The 55 year old scientist with an IQ of 300. Who wants to take over the planet, along with making Robotnikland a reality. While he may be hilarious, he is a rather cruel, narcissistic, and a very intelligent man who will do anything to get what he wants.

Miles Tails Prower. Voiced by: Noah Schnapp. A 14 year old two tailed fox. 3 feet tall. He’s an intelligent engineer and inventor who flies a plane, and Sonic’s best friend, who is like Sonic’s younger brother.

Amy Rose. Voiced by Maisie Williams. A 18 year old hedgehog. 4 feet tall. While she admittedly has a crush on Sonic. She’s like to make it as public. But she is a kind hearted young woman who wants to help her friends and will fight for them if needed. Especially to never give up on them.

Rouge The Bat. Voiced by Lisa Hannigan. A 24 year old bat who is helping Robotnik but is secretly a GUN agent. 4 feet tall. While a treasure hunter and even a thief. She’s actually much more kind than people think about her. Despite her narcissism, being strong minded, and flirtatious.

Metal Sonic. A robotic copy of Sonic himself and Robotnik’s personal enforcer. 4 feet tall. Inspired by Sonic’s skills and speed. Metal is Robotnik’s greatest creation. With a goal set in mind by Robotnik, to kill Sonic once and for all while being Robotnik’s personal enforcer and leader of his robotic army. But as time goes on, Metal becomes more obsessed with Sonic to where he thinks there can only be one Sonic.

Silver Sonic. Another robotic copy of Sonic and Robotnik’s powerhouse of a brute. 16 feet tall. While not as self aware as Metal. Silver Sonic’s doesn’t care and just would rather listen to his master Robotnik. Built to simply destroy anyone or anything that gets in the doctors way.

Abraham Westbrook the GUN Commander. Played by Idris Elba. The 53 year old commander who leads the GUN military. While trying to figure out what’s going on with Robotnik and Sonic. He’s trying to stop any possible threats to thw world.

Gabriel Ivan the President of the United States. Played by Oded Fehr. The 51 year old president of the USA. Who while trying to do what’s best for nation’s people and be against Robotnik. He understands Ian’s situation considering he was once a solider in the GUN military and just wanted to do the right thing. He’s also the one who sent Rouge to go undercover with Robotnik and to find Sonic as well.

To be honest I have thought about other characters. Such as being played by actors being like callbacks to stuff. Such as Deedee Magno Hall(Steven Universe), Jennifer Paz(Steven Universe), Shelby Rabara(Steven Universe), and Emilia Clarke. But I have realized there are too many characters if you don’t handle them right. Besides I think I just wanna post this after seeing that spoilers filled post. 

Including I’ll leave the little details under this with areas and the inspirations. Which I have talked already about. Other details are that I’d would love Andrew Lockington to do the score. 

I’ll also admit Ian who is not Gary anymore or he could be a younger brother of Gary. Ian is basically inspired by Leon Kennedy especially the RE2 remake version. Including I decided to make Ian’s Sonic’s new age because it might help them connect more or so.

I’m not gonna do a RT score because I don’t want to. Besides we haven’t even got the Sonic movie out yet with no score. I’m talking about Rotten Tomatoes. Hopefully you enjoy this or so. It’s just me rambling and yeah I’m done with these. Because I feel happy when I think about this story. Yet also it’s probably secretly annoying people now. Since I’ve just put down the tags, hope no one minds this in the Sonic movie positivity tag. Because I don’t really shit on the movie. Yet I want this to get some attraction. Despite I know my long rambling will turn people off.

this is petty and i KNOW movies dont have to follow the comics like. i know that and sometimes its a very good thing, but with marvel they wanna take parts from the comics, sometimes GOOD parts and they wanna fuck it all up and force it to fit into their shitty narrative. like. civil war for example.. had a PURPOSE in comics. it was a genuine grey area and, well written, it could've been a nuanced scenario about how different types of people might have benefited or suffered from it (re: mutants etc). in the mcu, civil war was uuuuuh wendy blew up some people and she used to be a nazi but we’re all gonna defend her because im steve rogers and i do what the fuck i like regardless of literally everything else. 

they based the mcu on the ultimates universe???? TAKE THE GOOD BITS THEN!!!! like take miles morales instead of just giving peter his life and his friends

A Brother’s promise pt.1; Bucky x teen reader

Okay now that I’ve gotten up all my Peter Quill oneshots for Chris Pratt’s bday, I can now go back and finish up my Bucky masterlist and once that is all done, MY MASTERLIST WILL BE COMPLETELY UPDATES WOOOOOO!! It was just your average Spring day up here in Brooklyn, NY.  Except that we were on the brink of war with Germany.  Able-bodied young men or veterans from the last World war signed up to join the allies and fight off Germany and the Axis powers and my brother was fortunately one of the men who had passed his physical exams and now was waiting for his orders to come in.  It was fortunate for them because my brother was probably the best man they could have, but unfortunate for me personally because he's the only family I've got left, well except for Steve but let's face it I'm looking after him more than him for me *but poor sweetie he does try to defend me as best he can when it comes to boys wanting me for my body when my brother isn't around*. 

I decided to go see a movie today after waking up to find the house empty, probably because Buck may have been called in to receive his orders.  So since I had no responsibilities to do today I thought eh why not go see what cartoon's are showing in the cinemas today.  I purchased my ticket and got a small candy bar to snack on during the movie.  I managed to find a seat in the crowd and the lights dimmed ready for the movie to start. But just before the film started, an advertisement promoting what is happening over seas at the war and what we as fellow citizens can do to help the soldiers that are fighting to protect us.  I began to think that maybe I could be a nurse since I am in a nursing program at school studying to become one after I graduate from High school.  

But of course Big Brother Best Friend disagrees.

He thinks I should collect scrap metal and work in the factory or sew up uniforms, anything to stay here on American soil.

But it was then a male's voice cried out.

"Who cares! Would you just play the movie!" Very loudly and obnoxiously I might point out.

"Show some respect you asshole" I muttered as the ad continued to roll on how we as citizens can help.

"Come on! Let's go! Hey just start the cartoon!" The boy said again.  He was even starting to make some people in the theater cry, angry, annoyed, even insulted at what he was saying because most of them had family members (like me) who were already in Europe fighting in the war some even had received word that either husbands, brothers or sons have been either Killed or Missing in action.  My hands were shaking with rage at this asshole's mockery.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU BASTARD!!!!" I exclaimed in rage as the male now stood up and turned around to face me. My eyes narrowed viciously.

I punched him across the face as we were now in an alleyway and kicked him in the balls making him cringe and fall to the ground.

"Maybe next time you'll have some respect for the men in the uniform! Especially towards their family members!" I was mainly speaking about Bucky and how anyone who disrespects the soldiers disrespects him personally and I HATE when people talk about my brother in a negative or cruel way behind his back. I adjusted my purse and walked away from the alleyway but then the next thing I knew I was tackled from behind and pushed up against the wall with my arms pinned to my side and my chin being grasped in this scum's free hand.

"You know, I like a woman with fire in her. You'd make a pretty cute doll".  He forced his lips on mine making me scream and try to push him off me but he made sure to keep my hands pinned and my legs immobile by pinning his whole body on top of mine.

"HEY!!" The boy was soon pulled away from me and standing protectively in front of me now was my Brother Bucky Barnes. "Didn't anyone ever tell you to treat women nicely, especially girls that are younger than you!" He snarled protectively.  The bully tried to throw a weak punch at my brother but he dodged it and sucker punched the bully across the jaw before literally kicking him in the butt towards the wall and pinning him against it while taking his wrists and pulling his arms behind him.  The bully cried out in pain as my brother sneered, "now you apologize to my sister or you'll have to find a way to walk without your arms OR your legs!" Bucky pulled the bully's arms back further making him cry out in agony. "APOLOGIZE!"

"OKAY MAN OKAY!! I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY! UNCLE MAN UNCLE!!"

"Now get out of here!" Bucky tossed him aside and kicked him in the butt again and this time the bully ran as fast as his legs could carry him.  Bucky turned towards me and said."Sometimes I think I should just put a leash on you so you don't go running into trouble".

"Like that would honestly work Buck, besides I managed to beat him up a bit before the bastard took me by surprise".

"Uh-huh".

"I did! I kicked him in the balls!"

"Alright now watch your language young lady, what would mom say if she could hear you talk like this?"

"She'd make me wash my mouth off with soap over ten times".  Bucky then grabbed my purse from the floor just a bit away from where I was tackled and handed it back to me which I accepted and finally took notice of his uniform. "You got your orders?" Bucky looked down at himself and said.

"The 107th, Sargent James Barnes, and shipping out for England first thing tomorrow".  My heart dropped.  Tomorrow? He was leaving so soon? This early after being drafted for only a few weeks. I clenched the handle of my purse and said solemnly.

"Guess we should go home and pack your stuff".  I didn't want him to leave this early, truthfully I didn't want him to leave at all. I know it sounds selfish of me but hey I'm his little sister so I've gotta be selfish at least once or twice right?

Bucky smiled softly and wrapped his arm around my shoulder bringing me close and noogied me softly,

"Hey come on sis, it's my last night. Don't make me remember my baby sister with a frown on her face".

"I'm not a baby!" I retorted.

"Yes you are, you're my wittle baby-waby sister!" Bucky teased.

"Shut up jerk-face!" I pushed on his chest freeing myself from his grip and adjusted my hair from his brotherly noogies.  I grinned back at him and exclaimed "race yah home!" Bucky then ran after me and the two of us raced back to our apartment.

Just when I was about to win by reaching the stairs, I was picked up and placed at the side of the stairs by Bucky allowing him to run up the stairs first.

"Hey! No fair! Cheater!" 

"All's fair in love and war sister dear! Besides you never established ground rules!" I raced after him and then he reached the door first and a few seconds later I got to the door. "What took you so long slow-poke?"

"You cheated and you know it. I feel sorry for the 107th division knowing that they'll have a cheater on board their unit".

"Wanna repeat that?" As I unlocked the door then as soon as I got it open, he head-locked me and dragged me inside as the two of us playfully growled and cried out battle cries and sounds as we wrestled until he had me pinned on the couch.

"Get off me you goober!"

"Sorry what was that?"

"Oh I know you can hear me jerk-face!"

"Come again. I can't hear over the sounds of how awesome I am".

"Oh that's really mature Buck, now get off me pretty please?" I then busted out my secret weapon.

The triple decker, sweet and adorable bunny face *with nose twitch*. I leaned up against his face allowing my nose to twitch against his cheek as he exclaimed in a playfully dying tone.

"Oh no, not that! No please stop it, I can't take it. It's too much, Oh God no I cant--I......" He then fell to the ground "dead" with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth.

"Take that Sargent, not even a hard core soldier can withstand the power of the Bunny face!" It was then Bucky suddenly tackled me back onto the couch making the two of us laugh.  As we began to settle down, my sadness soon started coming back to me.  My eyes lost their happy sparkle and my lips formed into a frown.

"Hey, come here you," Bucky lifted me up and held me close to his chest allowing me to cry into his shoulder.  "Shhh, easy girl, easy, easy now. Shhh, it's okay, okay it's okay shh".

"I'm gonna miss you Buck, I wish you didn't have to go".

"And believe me when I say that I wish I didn't either. But we need all the soldiers we can get, I have to go, besides they'll need a little class with me over there".  We both softly laughed then Bucky raised my chin up to look me in the eyes and said as he wiped away my tears, "but please (y/n), don't let my last memory of you be you crying for me, I want to see that beautiful smile on your face can you show me that smile now?" With my tears and broken heart I couldn't quite give him that 'ray of sunshine' smile he says I have, but my lips did twitch a bit in a lope-sided smile.  "Now that wasn't it, I deserve to see that smile, even if I have to force it outta yah".  He then began tickling my sides.

I thrashed and tried to escape his tickly hands but he had me trapped against the couch and him but each time I tried to push him away, he would move onto the next available open space to tickle me.  After awhile of begging, he finally stopped and allowed me to breathe.

"And I even got to hear that beautiful laugh too, a bonus for Big Brother".

"Yeah--right...... you nearly tickled me to death you jerk!" Bucky grinned smugly but then his face softened as he stroked my hair out of my eyes and tucked them behind my ear. "Oh God, I soaked your uniform with my stupid tears".

"Hey, don't worry about that that'll dry quick no one will notice, but you however are a different story (n/n)" he wiped my tears away with his thumb and continued, "I'll make sure to write as much as I can, and if that knucklehead Steve stays here, he'll be here to take care of you. I won't let myself be killed that easily because I have something else important worth fighting for besides freedom".  He smiled at me and I smiled back at him.  "There it is, there's that smile I've been waiting for" he kissed my forehead, cheeks, and nose before Eskimo kissing me making me softly laugh.

"Promise you'll come back home safe and sound?" He stroked my cheek and said.

"I'll promise this; when and if I come back from the war, as soon as we're back together. You. Me. The old cabin in the woods, just like when we were kids. We'll take the trail that mom and dad took us on every year we went there, and it'll just be the two of us together camping the whole time for 3 months, how's that sound sis?" The old cabin just my Big brother and I? Catching fireflies, watching the stars and making pictures with them, roasting marshmallows making s'mores, doing everything we use to do when we were kids? 

Heck yeah that sounded good.

I sniffled and nodded with a smile on my face.  Bucky smiled back and embraced me back as he kissed my head softly as he stroked my hair.

"I love you baby sis".

"Love you too Big Brother Best Friend".

*FF TWO YEARS LATER*

Hoping to have my brother back soon with news of the allies winning gave me hope that that camping trip was still on.  But it wasn't until I heard a knock at the door.  I opened the door revealing a group of men, one of them actually being the famous Howard Stark, and a woman.

"Can I help you?"

"Yes are you Miss (y/n) Barnes?" The woman asked.

"Yes I am, why?"

"Miss Barnes my name is Agent Peggy Carter, your brother and friend Steve Rogers fought along side us, Howard Stark helped design Captain Roger's weapons and these other gentlemen were apart of the Howling Commandos alongside your brother, there was to be a telegram to be sent to you but we felt like you should receive the news in person," Peggy then began to tell me how my brother fell off a movie train during a mission defending Steve, and how Steve saved the city of New York by putting the ship in the water.

My heart stopped and my body froze.

Next thing I remember, I'm leaning against Miss Carter crying as I fell to my knees.  My brother and best friend whom I've considered another big brother are both dead. But that wasn't the worse thing, as crazy as it sounds it wasn't the worst thing.

The worst thing was that Bucky broke his BBBFF promise to me.

i’m gonna put this under a read more bc i don’t actually wanna tell people what/who they can or can’t like and i generally try not to be discoursey. it wasn’t really a super serious post but yeah here’s why pratt is at the bottom of my personal ‘chris list’.

listen i’m not out to like, drag him through the dirt or anything like that. i’m the first to admit i enjoy the gotg movies and he does a good job in them as peter quill, but this is one of those cases where i have to separate the character from the person that plays him, because his views and what he stands for is something that i totally disagree with.

so, as far as sources go:

chris pratt is pro-gun - he is an avid hunter with an arsenal of supposedly about 30 to 40 guns, he also bought his wife a gun, in case “a crazy person comes to their house while he’s away and necessitates blowing their fucking brains out”. that’s a quote from Esquire, btw, so that’s probably pretty close to how he actually said it. he does say that he believes in firearm regulation and background checks, so i’ll give him that, but still, i don’t think his wife should have a gun to ‘blow someone’s fucking brains out’. while i disagree with that no matter how it’s stated, he could have at least said ‘i bought her a gun so she can defend herself’ or anything other that doesn’t make him sound like a gun-nut

less than 2 months ago, an interview came out in which he legit complained that there’s not enough representation for blue collar america in hollywood. he said that the stories in movies don’t resonate with him - a white, cisgender, heterosexual, american man - and that there’s room for more stories about blue collar america. after that caused backlash, he admitted that it was “pretty stupid”, although i doubt he’d have regretted saying that at all if there hadn’t been such a huge response (he was called out by sources like Marie Claire)

in light of that, i find it pretty ironic that just two years before that, chris pratt was actually making fun of the ‘sjw phenomenon’ by posting a sarcastic ‘pre-emptive’ apology on his facebook about anything offensive he might say in the jurassic world promo tour he was about to go on. i just find it pretty hilarious that he openly made fun of people who call celebrities out, and then two years later he’s supposedly apologizing for something he’s called out for.

he’s just kinda your stereotypical devout christian and patriotic guy. while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with either of those things, i think in general, if you look at his opinions, it’s pretty safe to assume his vote is republican. so there ya go
