Alright you wonder crumpets, listen up - it's time for my next theme here on instagram - I wasnt really feeling a theme and didn't know how I wanted to organise my feed but finally, the mojo is back, some tiny spark of creativity is stirring and so .. WELCOME TO THE 80s! I am a true 80s baby, conceived and born in 1980, and absolutely loved everything (as far as I saw it) being bright and colourful and musical. There was obviously a lot more going on in the world which was incredibly negative and scary and tough, and hopefully, as well as revisiting my childhood and having some fun, I can shine a little light on some of those issues too. Good morning and #happythrowbackthursday y’all... it’s been and is still a week of learning and growth. Today, I found this 👆🏽from #garyvee @garyvee ‘s Snapchat where he y’all about being maimed by ur past, looking back for the wrong reasons over and over will only hurt ur chances at advancing in the right direction. Looking back should be to learn and figure out a way to move forward rather than getting stuck in the past about what u shud’v done and didn’t do it where u wud have been had u done what u didn’t do! It is exhausting; this coming from a serial ‘looking backer’ today am gazing back only so I can clearly see whats ahead, be better prepared for what’s ahead and move forward even faster... listen folks, ain’t no do-overs only do-betters, ain’t rewinds only remakes! Let our memories serve us not us serving them... use ur past as a tool towards building an even better future... just my thoughts this morning to me actively present in my thoughts and actions throughout the day.
