Tears streamed down pretty features and even though she had known that the death of her husband was to be expected if her grandmother got her way, the Little Rose was no so heartless as to not be shaken by the death she had just witnessed. Joffrey had been monstrous, that much she would never argue but the sorrow that she felt was all too real when she could not help but mourn for the girl she had been such mere moments ago. The shock of it all would fade but she would never get that piece of her innocence back that she had lost in playing her part in the Queen of Thorns’ master plan.
Sob shook its way through her slight body as she watched a mother shriek over her son’s body - the son whose life she had had a hand in ending. Hesitation overcomes her as a shaking hand is lifted to cover her mouth while she attempts to play the shocked bride. Not too much of a challenge when nothing could have prepared her for this outcome. Instead of moving forward to crowd around her husband’s corpse, the Little Rose takes calculatedly hurried but stumbling steps backwards to remove herself from the chaos of it all.
Forcing herself to look away from the body, she searches for any kind of ally to get her safely away from it all as shouts and screams fill the air. She vaguely think she sees a flash of red hair heading in her direction but the glimpse is soon forgotten as tear filled doe eyes land on her brother. “Loras.” His name comes out scarcely above a whisper and she picks up her heavy skirts in the hope of reaching him.

Even though she knew that she’d been meticulous in every aspect of her planning, she couldn’t shake the thought that there was a chance that someone would try to give her event the same surprise ending that Lysa Arryn’s wedding had had. The last thing she wanted was her foundation’s name being tied to tragedy. For the most part she was able to enjoy it all, flitting around the room like the social butterfly that she was but upon catching sight of her brother, she knew she couldn’t ignore that nagging feeling anymore. Loras’ judgement was one she trusted immensely, at least when it came to whether there was a risk of any sort of violence. Appearing at his side, she greeted him with a light touch on his arm. “How do you think it’s going?” She knew if there was anyone who would know what she really wanted to ask it would be her brother.
