Uhhh hi, I've read under 2 hours today (I got sucked into a fic from an old fandom, don't mind me haha...) and I've reached chapter 560.
I'll keep it short. Klein assumed the identity of the Sea God, Kalvetua (slay moment, getting practice for his Fool persona, aye), and is playing the role to that demigod's followers.
Also, apparently, items that are left in the gray fog for some time retain a bit of its characteristics temporarily. Which allowed Arrodes to contact Klein, yasss!!
Klein ventured into the Spirit World a bit and coincidentally bumped into Nast, King of the Seas. Idk what to tell ya, man. I know it's a mix of that law of Beyonder Characteristics, the hand of fate and probably something to do with your luck ritual, but your LUCK, Klein. It never disappoints.
Without further adeu, until next time!
(Which... will probably not be tomorrow, I'mma be honest. If I read a lot somehow, yeah, definitely tomorrow. But idk. And the day after tomorrow, too... BASICALLY, it is when it is. I won't force it, this is a hobby. A way for me to track my progress from reading LOTM. So we're good. This is for fun :>)

Well... today I read around 2 hours. Yeah, a downgrade from the consistent 5, 6, 7 hours per day, but. What can I do, life is picking up again, so I can only read in the downtimes ://
On the other hand, I reached chapter 500 today! And it was Fun!!
What happened, you ask? Well! Not only is Klein getting into his Gehrman Sparrow persona (which... is badass af, ngl. He's so cool), but we're also joining the seas lore! We've been introduced just a little to all the Pirates and Admirals stories since the beginning. Now, Klein is gathering info ans we're diving headfirst into the bounties!
(Hell yeah, Klein! Get that cash !!)
We also met Danitz, who I saw some memes with, but I don't know anything extra about him lmao
We're still at the beginning of the third volume, with stuff getting introduced and shit. Not much to talk about specifically.
...other than how Gehrman Sparrow was an ABSOLUTE BADASS HOLY SHIT-
*cough* yeah, I get your enthusiasm for him. I fully agree. Can't wait to read more :))
Until tomorrow, then? If I manage to read enough to make a post hah

You know, of all things, I did not expect Klein to get the powers of a Sea God. That seems so far from what he embodies, for some reason?

Would you look at that? I've read 5 hours today. Not too shabby. Also reached chapter 550, noice
Anyway, Klein just Loves involving himself in matters concerning gods, huh? Not that I'm complaining, it's very entertaining
This time it was a goddamn Sea God, Kalvetua (I had to double check how to spell that name).
Poor Danitz, he is now tied to Gehrman Sparrow for a while. He is definitely fine with that hahaha. (He kinda reminds me of Emlyn, with his reluctant cooperation with Klein lmao)
Edwina Edwards is so cool tho. Imagine havimg the authority to convince a bunch of pirates to attend classes. Badass.
Just Elland is a cool guy, too. I appreciate his fairness. He is great for that (He's like Detective Isengard Stanton: the Sea version heh)
Alger is such a crafty fox lmao. His eye for the perfect opportunity is impeccable, very admirable. o7 to you, Mr Hanged Man. Here's to your future advancement to Sequence 6 🥂 love seeing you more in this volume, Mr Wilson
Audrey and Fors advanced to Sequence 7 and 8 respectively! Good for them! They're so lovely, but they have less of a focus this arc, it seems. That's alright, each character brings something interesting to the table when it's time.
And of course! I can't go to sleep before I mention how much of an absolute BADASS Klein - or should I say, Gehrman Sparrow - has been in these chapters!! HE'S SO EPIC AND SMART AND RESOURCEFUL AND CAREFUL AND STRATEGIC AND RUTHLESS AND- kind. At his core, it's still Klein Moretti. And Klein Moretti is kind. Even in this world, which seems to desire madness and chaos. Kudos to Klein. Keep it up, dear boy
Until next time :)

Not much to say today, but-
I've read for almost 3 hours, reaching chapter 518
Klein was badass, successfully showcasing his experience and wisdom in the situation at Bansy Harbor. He's so cool. GEHRMAN SPARROW, ILY
Also, the little moments of kindness he has are bittersweet. Trying to steer those two Branch kids, Donna and Denton I think, away from the Beyonder path was kind of him, but also made me want to give him a hug.
I tell ya, the more chapters I read, the more my desire to give that man a hug increases. GIVE HIM A HUG-
And the Tarot Club meetings are as funny as ever, with Alger going like "I see. Mr Fool is way more mysterious and powerful than I thought due to that incident", meanwhile Klein is like,"Hanged Man is probably thinking I'm more mysterious and powerful. Little does he know, I made that up lol".
To be fair tho, the Tarot Club has really gotten stronger step by step. Kudos to them.
Also Danitz is hilarious, I love that guy. He would get along much better with Klein Moretti or Sherlock Moriarty. Unfortunately for him, he met Gehrman Sparrow and I am loving that LMAO it is way more entertaining this way

Hallo. I'm literally gonna pass out the moment I close my eyes, but I can't miss this update. I've read for 3 hours (I was out most of the day, when all I wanted to do was read, rip) and I reached chapter 738. A more meaningful accomplishment is the fact that I finished volume 3!! Officially started reading volume 4!! We're moving FORWARD AYEEEEE
What's there to say today? A lot. I wanna talk in detail about it all, honest. But I'll just skim today, I think. As I said, very sleepy (when am I not, when making these updates. It's like a requirement for me to do these while sleepy lol).
So! Klein engaged in a fight involving demigods! That's right, not just A demigod, but Multiple demigods. Reinette, Shanks, Suah, that crazy angel, Jahn Kottman, Azik and the added bonus of Admiral Blood Senor. Of course, each individual appeared at different times, but the fact that Klein was capable of creating such chaos is undoubtedly AMAZING. HOW did he successfully do that?? I mean, I know how, but HOW??
The Orange Light personally extended an olive branch to Klein and explained some stuff about the gray fog. Useful
Klein fulfilled his promises to bury the Loen soldier and to carry on the dead Nightmare Nighthawk's last wish. He's still so Kind.
Gehrman Sparrow gained an infamous reputation. He's now on the level of pirate admirals, comparable to the Four Kings of the Sea. Arguably, could be the 5th. His adventures left their mark on those around him and it warms my heart to see people remember him for his good deeds.
We have the entrance of Dwayne Dantès! And apparently, he's a DILF. Well done, Klein! /lh
The evil spirit found in the room where Alista did the Sequence 0 ritual is gonna be a huge headache in the future, I can feel it. I wonder where it went off to...
Klein actually got a hug!! Albeit, a greeting hug, but still! A win is a win! Detective Isengard, you have my heart. Please don't die :>
Concerning that, it was lovely to see Sherlock Moriarty reconnect with his companions. I missed you, my boy!! Ian, Sharron, Isengard, love 'em all <33
Speaking of Sharron, she has my respect for dealing with Klein’s ridiculous bullshit. It's not Klein’s fault his fate seems to put him through the most ridiculous adventures, but Sharron going "ok" after Klein dropped crazy thing after crazy thing was the funniest shit y'all. Slay.
Mmmmmm the ideas concerning the theft of the Antigonus notebook are difficult af, but I trust in Klein’s plans. After all, he got out of that demigod royale battle with incredibly few injuries. I wonder who the Nighthawk spy will be 👀👀👀 is it perhaps 👀 a certain poet? 👀👀👀
(I know he'll join the Tarot Club eventually, because Spoilers yay. But I wonder how that'll go down)
"Skim," I said. Uh-huh.
Anyway, considering that I've only read for 3 hours today, quite a lot of stuff happened and I'm failing to recall them all. I want to read what's next so bad, but I have stuff to do tomorrow as well, so :(( I'll see how it goes
Praise the Fool!

He immediately composed himself because he had already changed his appearance to that of the deceased Vice Admiral Hurricane Qilangos. And inside Qilangos was the crazy adventurer, Gehrman Sparrow. And inside Gehrman Sparrow was the identity of the great detective, Sherlock Moriarty. And inside Sherlock Moriarty was the identity of Klein Moretti.
His identity is like a Matrioshka doll lmaooo
It's the ultimate Scooby-Doo villain-unveiling, one after another hahaha

Klein raised his cup and drank a mouthful of the rich malt-flavored beer and said with his usual tone, “Why don’t you just rob me?”
“Why don’t I just rob you?” Logan was a little stunned by the question.
Soon after, he saw a fist expanding before his face.
Thump!
Klein’s left fist landed on Sea Eagle Logan’s chin, knocking him backwards toward the bar counter.
With a push of his right palm, Klein nimbly left his chair and approached Logan’s falling body.
....
Klein drew his gun, shoved the revolver into the man’s mouth, and pulled the hammer back.
“I… I am…” Logan shouted indistinctly.
Klein looked him in the eye, pulled out his revolver, and swung it, striking the side of Logan’s face with the butt of the gun.
Logan’s teeth fell out one after another, and his mouth was stained with blood.
Faced with such a heavy blow and a pain that exceeded his limits, his eyes rolled back, and he fainted.
Oh my god, I did NOT expect the instant Violence. Holy shit. Holy shit. Yes yes yes yes I am so HYPED oh hell yeah!!

Family… Klein fell silent for a second before calmly saying, “I do not have a family.”
“…” Oz Kent was nearly at a loss for words. All he could do was say, “They will also attack your friends.”
Then, he heard Gehrman Sparrow reply in an unperturbed tone, “I do not have friends.”
“…” Oz Kent instantly choked up. He subconsciously drank a mouthful of Zarhar beer to calm himself.
Oh, the things you have to do to protect them... man...

On the illusory paper, a single line appeared: “Great Master, happy birthday!
“This is belated. Your current body was born on 4th March 1327. I originally wanted to wish you a happy birthday at midnight of that day, but I failed to keep up with you.”
… It’s a topic that really exceeded my expectations… I even forgot about my own birthday… The corners of Klein’s lips twitched as he was at a loss for words.
He had received the original Klein’s memory fragments and received parts of his emotions. He knew the birthday, but for a person who led a solitary life, why would he remember such things?
This fellow is actually the first person to wish me a happy birthday…
Now look at me cry. He forgot his own Birthday?? Oh goodness, Klein...
Arrodes, I send you my love. You are a shining star! You're so wonderful... you congratulated him :') ohhhhhhhhjj man jsjsjsj
Happy Birthday, Klein :')
Like, it's not 4th of March NOW, but it is in-universe where I'm currently reading, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY KLEIN!!

At that moment, he felt his collar tighten as he was lifted up by someone and thrown out the door.
Klein didn’t provide an explanation as he directly threw the man out of the door with a stoic expression.
Then, he drew his revolver and aimed it at the spot where the man had fallen to the ground. He pulled the trigger without any hesitation.
Bang!
Just as the green-eyed man fell to the ground, he saw a spark light up at the ground near his crotch. He was so frightened that he swallowed back his cursing and scrambled away.
Without any explanation, his weak performance proved that he wasn’t Gehrman Sparrow.
Klein ignored the victim who stood there in a daze. He politely blew at the mouth of his revolver before stuffing it back into his underarm holster.
Following that, he walked slowly to the bar counter in the resulting silent atmosphere.
Oh my god. Gehrman Sparrow, my beloved. I am In Love with you. I will kiss you on both cheeks and shake you gently, you are so badass.
(That is to say, if he doesn't shoot me first heh)

It is time to sleep and also time to recount what I've read today. I have read quite a bit today as well. 6 ½ hours. Not bad, right? Heh. I've reached chapter 673 and my reading app says I've read 48% of the novel. Very encouraging! ...or not. I won't be able to finish it this month, it seems. Pity. Either way, it's recap time!
The best news first! Sequence 5!! Our boy is a Nimblewright Master! He's a powerhouse! After all that hard work, we see results! He's on the threshold of demigod, oh wow. It's actually insane. And the corresponding abilities are also terrifying. On the surface they're scary, but used by our sharp, experienced Klein, I can't help but feel pity for his enemies.
Next, what also intrigued me was the appearance of Queen Mystic, Bernadette! Really didn't expect her to have had a hand in Gehrman Sparrow's fake identity. And all the other stuff was also surprising. Like, in no way would I have connected new Tarot Club member, The Hermit, Admiral of Stars Cattleya's teacher and mentor with the only other transmigrator Emperor Roselle's daughter, Bernadette. It just seems to be a part of two different stories. And she figured out who Hero Bandit Dark Emperor was, too! She's quite smart. I like her
The third thing I wanted to talk about was the whole night and dream world that happened in the... Sonia Sea, I believe? I can't remember the actual name. Where the mermaids are. Anyway, that whole thing is so... mysterious and historical, to some extent, my gut says we might return here later. Like, the similarities between this "world" and the Forsaken Land of the Gods make me raise an eyebrow, ya know?
But honestly, idk if it's because I'm unfamiliar with Chinese novels or if that's just the way LOTM is, but my predictions don't really seem to work 8 out of 10 times lol. It's great, it keeps me on my toes lmao
Fourth thing! Derrick’s exploration into Afternoon Town! We actually learned about another King of Angels and some snippets that could be clues to the downfall of the Kingdom of Silver. Like, initially when we got into it, I was more impatient to get back to Klein’s storyline, but then shit went down, and I got completely sucked in lmao. Like?? I commend Derrick’s bravery and knowledge to deal with that situation properly. The fact that he's also not as naive as before is also very enjoyable for me. It doesn't make my heart wince in discomfort when I realize he made a decision that could have horrible consequences later. It's not his fault. His circumstances are shitty, yet he's still a ray of sunshine. But! I gotta say, I'm so proud of the fact that he's learning from his mistakes. He's so lovely. I hope the City of Silver will get out of their miserable situation.
Moving on, I gotta talk a lil bit about unlucky Anderson! Honestly, the fact that he survived his ordeal would make him the luckiest of his crew, I suppose. His personality is so funny tho lmao. Whenever Klein’s Gehrman persona is paired up with a chatty person, I am thoroughly entertained hehe. The dynamic is just hilarious! Also, I gotta admit, at first I was as sus of Anderson as Klein was lol. He really had to start off the interaction with a joke that could be horribly misunderstood, huh? Poor guy lmao
Hmmm what else... oh yeah! Frank Lee! Funnily enough, right before his introduction, I saw a post about him and something about milk, with comments being like "I can never look at milk the same way again" and I was so confused. Until the milk scene. BAHAHAH he's so INSANE, what a madlad. And they call GEHRMAN crazy. Like, if it was just some crazy thoughts, sure. A lot of people have crazy thoughts. But that crazy f*cker is actively experimenting, on a boat in the middle of the sea, with his crewmembers as... test subjects to some degree?? I did Not expect him to be like That, LMAO
Well. A lot of unexpected things happen in this novel, I noticed.
And uhhhh yeah, this seems like most of what I wanted to chat about.
Side note, I was scrolling on tiktok and stumbled on a slideshow with the last scene from volume 1, the one where after Klein... "woke up" (revived), he automatically headed to Daffodil Street - home. But unable to go back there, he went and bought a ticket to Backlund. While waiting, he was struck with the need to see his siblings one last time, realizing that's the reason he took a ticket for such a late time. And there he went, stealing a glance at the people he cares about. Seeing them grieve him. After watching on helplessly, he got an idea. The siblings saw a clown running towards them, with colorful face paint. He had a Chrysanthemum, which represented happiness. All they saw... was a happy smile, an exaggerated smile, a ridiculous smile...
AH MAN, I BAWLED LIKE A BABY AGAIN WHEN I WAS READING IT EARLIER TODAY. LIKE, GIVE ME A BREAK, MAN T^T
Yeah. *cough* until next time!
Praise the Fool!

I come back with disappointing news today. I've only read 1 ½ hours today :(( I've reached chapter 487. At least I finished volume 2 and started volume 3?
So!! What happened today? It was mostly the clean-up after the big battle. The churches sent back up in time, thanks to Klein tipping Audrey off. Audrey told her parents the truth, even though they were aware in part of her advancement to become a Beyonder.
Klein made up with Azik and they're besties now <33 Azik is the best <33
A lot of people died in East Borough due to the combined attempts of two evil organizations. MotherFucker, one wasn't enough, they did TWO of them?? I hope in volume 3, it won't be the combined might of 3 evil organizations hahjahss...
ALSO my boy Emlyn's first tarot club meeting <33 he's so lovely <33
Audrey is an official Lady of society! She has reached maturity! Proud of her <33
Oh, and! Twilight Hermit Order? They're scary. They seem like a powerful organization. A very powerful organization. Buuuut... I have a gut feeling Klein will encounter them sooner or later hah...
OH YEAH AND KLEIN HAS CREEPING HUNGER NOW!!! EPIC!!!!
Speaking of Creeping Hunger, I temporarily forgot about the Secret Order due to the appearance of other organizations. But the Faceless guy into the glove reminded me of them, so yeah! There's a lot of stuff to keep track of hah...
I just wanna say, Klein is... probably incredibly traumatized atm. First, with appearing in an unknown world, with no one he knows. Then, the realization he could die at any moment due to the mysteries of this world. Then the DEATHS of his colleagues?? Starting with Old Neil, Kenley (?) and... Dunn Smith. That last one is probably a heavy weight on his mind, considering his thirst for revenge against those who wronged him. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention literally DYING?? man, that was definitely traumatic. Rising up from your grave? Everyone you made a connection with thinks you're Dead? Gotta start over in a new place for their safety?
Next, in this new life, he constantly courted death, even in his life as a Nighthawk, he inadvertently looked at a God and took on dangerous missions. As a detective, his investigations kept bringing him into dangerous shit without his intention. And now... so many people died. He did his best, but that doesn't change the fact that the perpetrator of that smog was in front of him at one point. He couldn't have done too much and he's a logical person. But subconsciously, he feels the weight of their deaths and has to carry on with it.
Anyway, Klein Moretti deserves a hug. He needs a hug. I hope he'll get one.
Tomorrow is also a pretty interesting day, so idk how much I'll read. I'm trying to take advantage of summer vacation before college starts again T^T deffo will update tho
(This update turned into an analysis of how traumatized Klein could be, alright lmao)
Until tomorrow!!

If it wasn’t because he was seeking to purchase the Sequence 4 potion formula, I might even suspect that he had become a demigod… Alger thought, feeling perturbed.
He was alarmed to realize that in a week, The World had obtained the Sequence 5 Ocean Songster potion formula and main ingredient, killed a Sequence 5 Devil, and might very possibly have a Sequence 6 Notary potion formula in hand as well!
How did he do it? Alger realized that he was feeling a little frightened of The World.
Gehrman Sparrow is very scary. Very impressive. Very efficient. Ohhhh he's incredible! Gehrman Sparrow Supremacy!

It is the 24th of August. The heat is killing me, yet through it, my passion for reading LOTM burns brigther. I've read for 6 hours today, breached into the 700s and arrived on chapter 706. My app is showing me that I genuinely reached 50% of the novel. I am more or less halfway done with the novel, that's crazy. It is a monumental day and I must record it!
(I say, completely dramatizing it lmao)
So, at some point, translation switched from using the name Nimblewright Master to Marionettist. And the corresponding Sequence 4 is Bizarro Sorcerer, if I remember correctly. Either way, the clues indicate that what Klein desires is on the Hornacis mountain range. I still remember his promise to never go there lmao. I bet he will go eventually.
Another intriguing fact is the adventure that took place in book Groselle's Travels. Through that, Klein was able to find out first-hand knowledge from people that lived during the Second, Third, Fourth Epoch. The value of the information discussed is Huge, considering that the general populace is absolutely Clueless about it. Klein can really be considered a history aficionado with a unique predisposition, since the only other beings with that kind of knowledge was either part of that history, significantly impacted by that history or actively participated in removing that history. Ergo, Klein’s value is incredible. Knowledge is power and his knowledge is steadily getting more and more precious.
Now, the specifics of what was discussed. We dived a little more into the matter concerning the Kings of Angels, with the confirmation that Adam is indeed a King of Angels (for some reason, through vague references I saw about him with like zero information about him, he unsettles me) and his corresponding title. We also saw a different side of the giants through Groselle. There was also the information provided by... Mobet Zorouest? Wait, lemme check. Mobet Zoroast, close enough. Anyway, from his perspective as an aristocrat during that time period, we also peeked into the dynamics of those families. Hah... Blasphemer Amon is really intriguing to me.
Moving on from the information dump, cuz I really can't recall all the details, I'll just remember those things if they're brought up again in the novel.
Gehrman Sparrow put into practice his abilities as a Marionettist! Its potential really is scary. I was right, Klein is capable of making it scarier lol. He carried out such a subtle assassination of that mob boss, he's incredible. And the fact that he was also capable of taking control of that fake Frost Dragon is also impressive. HE'S IMPRESSIVE.
I find it amusing that with his steady gathering of resources, information and mystical items, people around him can't logically attribute that all that was done by one man. They assume there's an organization backing him. Which technically, yeah. It's just... he's the BOSS of the organization lmao. He's so damn impressive. I can praise him all day, it seems, hehe.
To switch from talking about Klein, I'll bring up Anderson. He's a character that made me initially suspicious, then in tandem with Gehrman, I slowly lowered my guard, but not by a lot. He's a fun dude, but his motives are curious. I'm especially wary of the mission he was entrusted by that Spectator pathway demigod. It's not clear if he completed it already, will do so in the future or is in the midst of doing it now. I was wondering if he had the mission to sort of "spy" on Gehrman Sparrow, but there's not a lot stuff he did that could've attracted the Psychology Alchemists' attention. Or is that demigod from another organization? Either way, Klein is always careful with his tracks, I doubt they latched onto something. So I doubt it's that, but atm no other ideas come to mind. Welp.
Alright. We also had the pleasure of seeing more of Blazing Danitz, my dude! He's one of my favs, along with Leonard, Emlyn and Audrey. Vice Admiral Iceberg, Edwina Edwards is also a character I like a lot, so this adventure was a lovely treat for me.
Pity that those individuals from the book perished. They really did bond in a short period of time. Well... their information would've probably turned the whole thing upside down, so I guess their deaths makes sense. I saw it coming.
Man, I'm really word vomiting here today, huh. My bad :')
Uhhh ok, Klein obtained the Sun Pathway's Sequence 6 and 5 potion formulas and the Sailor Pathway's Sequence 6. Progress for the Little Sun and the Hanged Man! The World is nothing if not efficient, aye?
(Also, the moment when Fors wanted to entrust an assassination mission and the Club members all turned to The World lmao. That was funny)
Mmmmmm oh yeah, honorable mention to Mr Azik Eggers! Didn't expect that Fourth Epoch noble to mention the Eggers family. And the fact that he always does his best to respond to Klein’s questions in his letters is just so cute <3 their dynamic is adorable :)
And Another honorable mention to Reinette Tinkerr! (I had to search how to spell her name LMAO) She's a demigod, huh. Curious to find out more about her.
Alright, that's enough for today. I yawned at least 4 times while typing this. It's sleep time.
P.S. I find it funny that when I first open Tumblr with the intention of making this daily update, my thoughts are so scattered that I have no idea what I want to talk about. Then I start talking and I can't stop. It's amusing
Praise the Fool!

That fellow, Emlyn, is smart, but if he were to, heh heh, meet Tris, no, Demoness Trissy, he would be tricked by her into selling his dolls… Klein secretly teased the vampire which could be considered a friend in the real world.
Awww, Klein considers Emlyn a friend~
