morgan and elle's friendship is so severely underrated and i wish we'd gotten more of them. they go on vacation together! there are also some lines in the first episode that, at least to me, imply that they knew eachother before. morgan is introduced talking to/quizzing trainees, so that seems like the most likely way, but. i don't know. i love them and i would have been curious to see how it would have been elaborated upon had lola glaudini stayed on.

for me i loveloveleovllvlevolev his character development. from eg to shadow of the giant he’s so bad at doing things its so endearing,, he’s simultaneously trying his best whilst somehow doing his worst,,, he either thinks he has no idea what he’s doing or he thinks he knows everything when the reality is always the opposite. and he’s funny. he’s the only character that OSC doesn’t take too seriously which makes the Weird Racist/Sexist OSC Opinions that come out of his mouth just that much more bearable

YES you get it omg. Like in Enders game he was an interesting character but not really a lovable character, if you get my drift. But then in the shadow series you get the experience of him slowly becoming the worlds most powerful leader while also being a desperate 20something who just wants his mom to say that she’s proud of him.

At the end of the day, most books in the series are about being Just Some Kid being put into the absolute worst situation of your life. And while EG is the pinnacle of that, Ender always has a bit of a Main Character Polish on him. He’s allowed to fail, he’s allowed to make bad decisions, and he’s allowed to be insecure, but Peter is allowed to be pathetic. Ender fails way beyond the point where most people would break— and to his credit, so does Peter. But while Ender goes semi-comatose in his military officer’s space barracks after being forced to unknowingly commit xenocide, Peter gets depressed after failing to notice that his guest was planning to murder him, and his parents have to drag him out of bed and pour water on him. And then they have to go live in Ender’s space barracks so Peter doesn’t get murdered by the guy he invited into the Hegemony compound (for… some reason).

Also, there’s something very… uniquely 20-something about Peter. He’s in the odd place of being able to choose what he wants to do, and basically be considered an adult, while also having the ever-looming sense of “who the HELL let me be in charge of ANYTHING”. He has a touch of relatability that’s missing from a lot of characters.

In addition to all of that I love to see a cringefail losing.

So I bought this doujin second hand.

The story is about Ukai who accidentally hurt himself when picking beans that morning. Takeda wanted to help lift a bit of his burden because literally, Ukai's hand: teaching kids to serve non-stop, like slapping balls every day; then his work at the store where he needs to lift heavy boxes and stuff. So yeah, his hands; and Ukai himself has been through a lot.

At the end, Ukai reveals how he hurt himself: he was distracted by the thought of Takeda; being sexy and all that. And he is scared that Takeda might get angry at him because...maybe because it's trivial? Or maybe it's like he doesn't want Takeda to think of him as a pervert coz he hurt himself while thinking about lewd stuff.

So he decided not to tell him.

Btw I only use Google Translate so the translation could be wrong so yea :')

But the point is that, he didn't tell him.

I imagine a scenario if Ukai do tell him. And my version of Ukai is that he has a bit of low self esteem (like me :'))

“ You hurt yourself, thinking about me?” Takeda is baffled.

“ Yea.. it's fucking stupid. And I feel like I'm taking advantage of your kindness.. you went through all the trouble to help me because my hand got nicked–

“ Your mom said you need stitches,” he protested.

Ukai bit his lips. “ Right.. ”

...

“ What were you imagining?”

Ukai looked up as Takeda scooted closer, he placed his hand on his bandages; thumb hovering gently, careful not to touch the stitches underneath. His lashes dipped, thinking about the blood that trickled down from the cut, or in his words; ‘nicked’ his palm with his grandfather's scythe. It's still painful, no matter the cause; Ukai still bleeds. And he did so while thinking about him.

“ Was I naked?”

His throat suddenly dried. “ N.. no.” “ Well, half-naked.” he gestures a pinch.

Takeda smiled. “Tell me more, Ukai-kun.”

He took a deep breath. “ I was thinking it'd be nice if I could fuck you before I go to the farm that day. ”

He glances at Takeda, who's now a full-blown tomato.

“ Shit.. that was too much was it? ‘Didn't even think if you'd be into that kinda stuff. ”

“ What? No! I–”

His blush deepened, “ I'm into it. Really. I just thought.. Even if you're into it too, I don't want to wear you down. We both have to wake up early for both our jobs. So I decided not to bring it up. ”

Takeda was thinking about him..

He felt relieved, happy; to get to talk to Takeda about this. His guilt is killing him. Ukai chuckles, planting a kiss on Takeda's cheek; emitting giggle he loves so dearly.

“ I love you, sensei.”

“ I love you too. Thank you for being honest with me. ”

Ukai smiled, his heart was full. Another kisses attack on Takeda's lips was launched, resulting in lechoes of laughter and giggles, messy bedsheets and blankets.

“ I'll wake you up at 3, so early the school wasn't even open. ‘kiss your nape, suck your dick until you're half awake and still want to fuck,”

Takeda moaned at the thought.
