We took a road trip through the lovely driftless region of SE Minnesota to @davesguitarshop in LaCrosse Wisconsin yesterday and was absolutely blown away by the number of beautiful vintage guitars in Dave's collection. The entire upper floor of a sizable building is devoted to this museum. On the ground floor, was hundreds of instruments for sale, and Brett, from @everydayguitaristdemos, who was incredibly helpful and patient, while we tried guitar after guitar, using a Leaf Pick, of course! If you're a musician or historian in Minnesota or Wisconsin (or anywhere), it's well worth your time to check out this store, and try out the great gear they have there. Just had a great chat with an older gent who owns 185 guitars, mostly high end stuff. Firstly: wow, life goals! Secondly: why do you figure he stopped at 185? 200 seems like a nicer, rounder number, does it not?
