Nothing Goes As Planned Chapter One: People Say Goodbye
She had everything planned. Every single detail figured out perfectly, an intricate web of cover stories and truths mixed in. Elena gave it a few days, long enough to make sure Katherine had been telling the truth about Klaus' blood being the cure for a werewolf bite, and then she began the process of saying goodbye to life as she knew it. While it may look easy in movies and on TV, Elena realized just how hard it was to disappear, especially if your face is not your own and you're supposed to have died in a magical ritual. Therefore, she didn't say goodbye completely.
First of all, she had to go to Bonnie, explaining what she intended to do. That went as well as one could expect. As in: not great. But they were best friends, and they'd always support each other, so Bonnie complied to Elena's wishes and cooked her up a few things so that she could stay off of Klaus' radar for as long as possible. The first was a bracelet, fashioned after Katherine's -her daylight one- so that anyone who came into contact with her would sense she was a vampire, and not human. The second was a locator spell blocker, so if a certain vampire -cough, cough, Damon- tried to find her, which he inevitably would, the only witch who could locate her would be Bonnie and there was no way she'd ever give in to Damon, no matter what stunt he pulled, she promised.
The next was a new car, happily provided by Caroline, who likely got it through compulsion-aided channels, as well as a new phone, completely untraceable.
Although she wouldn't be able to touch her inheritance until she officially turned eighteen in a few weeks, Elena luckily had enough money put by to find her travels, although she had no idea just where this crazy plan of hers might lead her. Surprisingly, in all that time, no one cottoned on to her plan who wasn't already in the know, despite how obvious it all was.
Elena was going after Stefan.
She refused to sit back and let Damon take the reins on this one, refused to watch the days go by and let this agonizing worry eat away at her. If she was going to find him, she'd have to do it herself, Klaus and his threats be damned. Stefan would do the same for her, if their roles were reversed. She knew he would; she knew it in her heart, her bones. Elena had lost too many people to let the love of her life go, too.
The time drew nearer to the date she'd picked out, June 2nd. Elena began getting extra gas and spare tires so she wouldn't have to worry about stopping when she got on the road. Shifting her wardrobe into duffel bags, taking only the barest of essentials, which unfortunately didn't include her beloved journal, but she planned to get a notebook on the road, something she could use to help her map out her thoughts as well as serve as a place to record her progress with finding Stefan. She'd already gleaned as much as she could from Damon, having found his little research project fairly easily. It seemed the elder Salvatore hadn't learned from his whole 'Moonstone in the soap dish' debacle when it came to hiding places. His closet? Seriously? Then again, it's not a place Elena would exactly be familiar with, and she might not have peeked in there at all if Damon hadn't fallen asleep on the couch one night and she'd gone looking for a blanket to put over him, so maybe she wasn't giving him enough credit. But she'd found it nonetheless.
It had hardly been two weeks, not time at all, and yet Klaus had managed to leave a pile of bodies in his wake. Figures.
She told Jeremy and Ric the night before over dinner. Her stepfather threatened to chain her to her bed if he had to, but there was no real heat behind it. He knew he couldn't stop her, knew she was smart and kind and brave and would fight to the bitter end for those she cared about, as she had cared for him these last few weeks since Jenna died. At least she promised to call. Jeremy was tight-lipped and stoic, but while she was brushing her teeth he broke down and begged her not to go. Her heart broke in that moment, all over again. She hated to leave him, she hated it, but none of this would have happened if not for her. Klaus wouldn't have happened if not for her, and she knew if she didn't do something to try and assuage this guilt in her chest she'd go mad, and this was the only way how.
"Would you do it for me, Jer?" Elena had asked him, toothpaste still clinging to her cheeks like tears, tears she refused to let fall, lest they crumble her resolve. "Would you do it for Bonnie, if she'd been the one Klaus took?"
"Of course I would. You don't even have to ask that."
"Exactly. It's time I call the shots when it comes to my life. Starting with this."
She tried explaining it all to Matt, but he'd been reluctant to be clued in on her plans, trying to stay out of the supernatural as much as possible. It stung, considering how close they'd been all their lives, but she respected his decision nonetheless.
Saying goodbye to Damon was harder than she thought it'd be. These past few weeks, they had grown closer, their pain over Stefan uniting them like never before. For the first time, his walls were down around her, and Elena mourned the fact that they would go right back up, and grow, once he realized she'd gone.
They had decided to watch a movie, a romance of all things. She sat beside him on the couch, her legs touching his, laughing at the ridiculousness that was eighties fashion.
"I don't think it's that bad," Damon remarked, gesturing to Adam Sandler's pale blue suit as he crooned into the microphone. "I saw worse in my day."
"I bet you loved the eighties," Elena smiled, grabbing some popcorn from the bowl. In truth, her stomach was knotted so tightly that the thought of eating was immensely off-putting, but she had to act normal, like nothing was wrong. It seemed she was always acting.
Damon shook his head. "Nah. The eighties was more Stefan's style. I'm sure he was the first person in line at the cinema to watch The Breakfast Club, the dork."
"Hey, I take offense to that! Breakfast is a classic, and therefore beyond reproach."
Using his vamp speed, he snatched the popcorn away from her, pelting her with stray kernels as he yelled, "So not! I won't stop until you admit it!"
"Well, then, I guess you're gonna run out of popcorn."
Fifteen minutes -and a carpet littered with sugar- later, the two were back on the couch, dusting off their clothes.
Damon broke the silence unexpectedly. "Thank you," he murmured, taking her hand in his.
Elena paused. "For what?" she asked breathlessly.
"For always being able to make me laugh. For not letting me spiral these last few weeks. I don't think I could have done it without. Heck, I know I couldn't. You really are something, you know that?"
God, why did he have to make this so God damn hard?! Why couldn't he have stayed all villain-y and snarky? Why did he have to have such a great heart under all that leather and piercing blue eyes? And why had it taken Stefan leaving to realize what a great friend he was?
Why did her life have to be so hard?
She squeezed back and murmured, equally soft, "I think you're really something too, just so you know. Don't ever forget that."
Those were the words she left him with, the words that swirled in her mind, stuck on repeat, as she placed her bags in her new car, gave Jeremy, Ric, Bonnie and Caroline, Tyler -who wouldn't stop shooting looks at the blonde all night, the blonde who had supposedly started spilling all of Elena's secrets to- and Matt one last hug before she shut the door of her childhood home, the click of the lock seeming to reverberate through her bones, pound in her heart, and within a blink shed started the car and was pulling out of the driveway, making her way into the darkness of the night without looking back.
Yes, she'd had everything figured out, every detail under control. But this was the life of Elena Gilbert, supernatural doppelgänger and magnet of all things magic, so of course nothing was going to go as she'd planned. And maybe, just maybe, that wasn't a bad thing.

Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you decide to read the rest.

June Bishop & Damon
—-/—-/—-/—-
June sucked on her teeth in annoyance as she lead She Cat into Strawberry. She had no one to be upset with but herself and June knew that but it didn’t stop her from trying to pass the blame onto fate.
Cat snorted at her side, and June almost felt like the horse was sympathizing with her. They had been chasing after a fine bull elk when one of She Cat’s shoes had fallen right off and the mare had stumbled, sending June flying over her neck and landing with a splash in the running creek just ahead of them.
Without a rideable horse June was a sitting duck, it wasn’t worth it to treck through the mountains on foot when the nights got so cold and the predators were so hungry. So she had gathered herself up and started the long walk to Strawberry’s stable.
On a normal day she could get to Strawberry from the valley in a good two or three hours but on foot it took much longer and by the time June had limped into town the sun was already setting and she was chilled to the bone. Cat was doing her best as well but June could tell she was unstable due to the missing shoe. A string of curses left her mouth when she realized she wasn’t carrying any money and all she had trapped were a few lousy rabbits. She didn’t even have enough to reshoe her horse.
Thankfully Richard the butcher showed her a little pitty, he looked over the pelts she had brought and sighed. “Seems like everyone with a gun has been bringing these in,” he looked back to her and Cat, both miserable and cold. “But for you I’ll make an exception.” An extra fifty cents per pelt wasn’t much but it would be enough for her to board Cat for the night and get herself a room, maybe even a bath.
June started to walk towards the trail leading up to the towns stable, Cat at her side without even being called. The butcher watched as she went, his mustache ruffling as he purses his lips.
“Girl!” He shouted just as she reached the bridge, and she turned to look back, her hand taking hold of She Cat’s bridle. Richard waited a second before continuing. “Not sure if it’s true but I heard there was a gent at the hotel looking for some help, might be worth your while to go have a chat with him.”
June scowled at that. She wasn’t above honest work but she liked to think she wasn’t at that point yet. Still the blonde waved and shouted out a polite thank you before taking She Cat and bedding her down in the barn.
It’s was well past nine when she finally got her horse settled and made her way into the inn. Thankfully The innkeeper seemed pleased to see her. Perhaps he had fallen on hard times too. Her bath was ran for her and he even offered to have her clothes washed for her too.
June soaked until the water went cold, not used to having luxuries such as this ever since the homestead had been sold. She traveled now, following the racing series wherever they went. Often she was camping out in the wilderness and not shacking up in a fancy hotel like she was tonight.
After she had stepped out and dressed in the borrowed night clothes the hotel had provided her she mad her way to the stairs, ready to sleep and figure her life out in the morning. The innkeeper, Roy, was still standing at his post looking back toward the stairs with nervous energy. She smile politely at him, “Good night Roy.” She called out before heading up to her room. He gave a weak smile back and turned back to his paperwork that was scattered across his desk.
She thought it was odd that he had gone from being so excited and accommodating to so scattered and wary right after. She shrugged as she opened the door to her room, freezing when she realized there was a man sitting on her bed.
He was slow to turn an look at her. His brown eyes glancing at her before focusing back on his watch that he was holding. He was handsome in a dirty sort of way but the smile he offered her made June’s skin crawl.
“I heard you’re looking for work.” He said in a matter of fact way; breaking the silence that had grown between them. Her blue eyes narrowed at his words and she felt like a barn cat cornered by a dog; ready to pounce and rip him to pieces before he even knew what hit him. She took a step out of the doorway, ready to run if needed. “Afraid we have different ideas of work. I’m not that strapped for cash.” She wished she hadn’t have been so trusting by leaving her pistol with the holster on the night stand. He smirked at that, rising from the bed and walking her way. “Don’t you worry kitten; I ain’t here for that.”
Relief washed over her but June didn’t let her guard down as he approached. He reached up and took the hat from his head, short red locks shining in the candle light. He ran his fingers threw them before bowing his head in an almost apologetic manner. “Now ya see, I have a horse that needs to learn some manners and I don’t have the patience to do it right now. Heard from the town butcher you good with the animals and I figured if you would work him and ride him out to Van Horn I would make it worth your time. See what I’m saying.”
June scoffed, stepping back again. She didn’t trust him and knew distance between them was for the best. “You want me to ride a stolen horse all the way to Van Horn? You’re out of your mind.” She she with a tone of finality, turning to head down the stairs and request a new room. His hand reached out and caught her shoulder.
She started to pull away but he held firm. “ The horse wasn’t stolen by me, honest. “ He stayed, voice warm and silky, so close to her ear. “ I’m too big a guy. I’ll break that horse before I get close to Van Horn.” He let out a hard chuckle before dropping his hand away. “ I need a nice lil girl with a quick wit and gentle touch to teach him along the way that’s all. It will be the easiest five hundred dollars you’d ever make.” And just like that June’s mouth went dry. Her eyes blushed and she spun around to look at the stranger.
“Five hundred dollars to ride a horse? You must be jokin with me.” But the broad man just shook his head and put his hat back on. “No Ma’am, my employer really wants him moved up there. Present for his wife or something like that.” He shrugged, pulled out his pocket watch and looked at the time. “ But if you don’t want the job I’ll just find someone else.” He walked past her and out into the hall. “It was a pleasure to meet you Kitten.”
She let out a huff before crossing her arms. “If I’m gonna do this for you, you’ll have to call me by my name.” The man tsked as if disappointed then let out what she could only assume was a short laugh. “We’ll miss June you got a deal. Five hundred to get that horse nice and gentle, and be sure to make it to Van Horn by the end of the week.”
She nodded and flushed a little as he looked her up and down. “It’s a deal,” she stuck out her hand to shake his and he took her hand in his. His palms were large and calloused, much warmer than her own and that caused a shiver to run down her spine as she shook his hand firmly. He grinned and went to leave but she called out before he got to far. “And who am I supposed to say sent me to move this horse?” An air of snark was laced in the words. The man chuckled before replying. “Just say Red sent you. They’ll know. Now good night Kitten- I mean Miss Bishop.” Red raised his hat and placed it atop his head, before giving her a wink. “And rest up, you have your work cut out for you.”
—-/—-/—-
The next morning Bishop got to the stable right after sunrise, she knew the town would be dead at that time and she would have a better chance of riding off on a stolen horse if the horse was in fact stolen. Red had assured her he hadn’t stolen it but that didn’t mean someone else hadn’t.
The stable owner’s daughter Ruth had been mucking stalls when June had showed up. The bright eyes little girl rushed to her side and took June’s hand in hers, pulling the blonde woman over to where She Cat was stabled. The girl pointed at the pinto, grinning widely. “I took good care of her just like I said I would!”
June smiled and reached over the stall door to pet Cat’s forehead. The mare nickered before continuing to eat her breakfast. “You did a great job Ruth. I’m so pleased I would love for you to care for her awhile longer.” The small girl’s pigtails bounced as she jumped up and down before hugging June’s legs with excitement, repeating thank you over and over until June wasn’t sure if the little girl was saying anything or just making noises. “Ok little one go get your daddy and I’ll be sure to pay you the nickel I promised last night.”
Ruth eagerly raced out of the stable only to return minutes later with the owner in tow. He was a good man and usually very nice but when she mentioned Red had sent her the man had gone stiff before turning to a stall in the back. “I’ll saddle him up and get you on your way. Don’t want Red sniffing around no more. “ Muttered as he saddled the stallion up. June’s eyebrows raised at that. Not only was the horse hidden in the back of the barn but the owner didn’t like Red either. “Something wrong with him?” She questioned, watching the man stumble over himself as he tried to go faster.
“No ma’am.” He shook his head and lead the horse too her. It was a handsome buckskin American Saddlebred, his nostrils flaring and eyes wild. While he was larger than She Cat it was clear the Red might have been a bit too big for him like he had said. She took the reigns from him and he looked relieved at the fact.
“ His name is Damon,” the stable owner offered before grabbing Ruth’s hand and pulling her away from the stallion. “You have a nice ride Miss Bishop. We will take good care of She Cat for you.” June nodded, knowing he wanted her gone and she was happy to oblige. Mounting up on Damon and asking him to walk on. She could already feel his resistance and she knew that had a long road ahead of them if he was going to listen to her but they had time.
She treaded her fingers in his mane and whispered to him before pushing him into a trot, heading down the hill into Strawberry. He did well going through the houses and even managed to cross the bridge like a a well trained fellow. Just as June started to think this was going to be an easy trip Damon caught sight of Richard’s scruffy old cat that liked to lounge around under the Strawberry sign. June clasped his man and patted his neck but he would have none of it and the stallion reared and tried to buck June before galloping down the road and out of Strawberry. She clung to him like her life depended on it and forced him to slow. The stallion bucked a time or two more before June finally regained control, she was panting and tired already. Her regret rising for taking the job. She sucked in a breath and patted Damon before turning him again to trot down the road. This was going to be a long ride.
—-/—-/—-/—-
So not sure if anyone really bothered to read that long monstrosity. It really won’t hurt my feelings if you didn’t. I just wanted to write a June story. Let me know if you like it and I’ll continue writing, or tell me to stop and I will haha.

Guns for Hire
Ramsay Bolton x Reader
ao3
Summary:  You are the wife to the Heir of the Red Kings, Ramsay Bolton. living the undercover life of a mob wife has its perks, and you love your husband. But you find out something that seems to unfold a series of unwanted events…
Chapter 41: Eye of the Storm
"So lemme get this straight, your father in law wants to kill his son and use the child inside of you to be groomed to his liking?" Tyene said, setting her empty glass down and giving you a hard look.
"Yes. But what's more is that Walda is pregnant apparently. If she has a boy too my son will be no better off. Just another Ramsay in Roose's eyes. All three of us will be killed." You said, throat feeling tight as you struggled to get the words out.
"Then we have to strike first." Tyene said, as if it were that simple.
"No. We can't. You don't understand. Ramsay doesn't know! Nobody knows except you. And it will stay that way. Do you understand? Tell no one." You said with a threatening snarl.
"How and why are you keeping this from Ramsay?! Friday night showed me he would love to kill his father."
You sighed, pulling your phone toward you. "That's the problem though, Ty. Rams doesn't want to kill his father. He wants his father to love him. It's sad. Roose hates him, and all Ramsay wants is for his father to approve of him. Just once to praise him. A pat on the back. And I'm afraid that's what's going to happen. Roose is going to lure him into a sense of false security and kill him once he thinks his father fucking loves him. Ramsay is like a toddler. He acts out to get a reaction from Roose, no matter how negative. Any response is better than none, right?" You unlocked your phone, thinking you better tell your mother the 'good news'.
"What are you saying?" Tyene asked, leaning back into the couch.
"I'm saying that Ramsay is unstable and vulnerable because he's fucked up in the head! Watch. Roose is going to prey on all the mental instability he has instilled into his son. I cannot let that happen! We need to strike. But I can't afford it until he makes the first move. And the most unsettling part of that is it is unpredictable. It may be tonight. It may be next week. Hell, Roose may not do shit until his newest child is born. I don't know. But I need to be ready. I need more girls in Kings establishments. Fuck the Lannister's for now. I could care less about them. We are at war within our own ranks and nobody but us know. But the Boys are not to know anything."
"Your secret dies with me. And I plan on living many, many more years." Tyene said, holding her pinky out to you.
You gave a laugh and took her pinky in yours.
"So, where are the Boys now?" She asked, standing and grabbing up her empty glass.
You too rose from the couch and walked into the kitchen.
"Don't know really. On the way back here we passed that group of men from Friday night. Rams said they were Frey men. It's funny though... Kings, Lions, and the Towers. What an odd group to be dealing with one another..." You said slowly, looking back down at your phone.
[You: hey mom. Just wanted to let you know, you will be having a grandson come end of June.]
"I've only ever heard of the Frey's in passing. I don't know much about them?" Tyene said, sitting at the table as you set your phone on the counter and pulled the freezer open.
"The Boys talk shit about them. Apparently bottom of the barrel kind of folks. Inbred idiots who are only in the game because they come from old money." You glanced over at Tyene, "wanna stay for dinner?"
"Sure. If you don't mind. I'm stuck here until Matt gets back anyways." She shrugged.
You saw your phone screen light up. You picked it up:
[Mom: oh my goodness! Your father and I are both excited! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am! We love you baby! Come see us soon.]
[You: alright momma. I'll see what I can do. I love you guys too!]
×××
"Hey good looking, whatcha got cookin'?" Ramsay purred, grabbing your hips and pulling you back into him.
You melted into him with a grin.
"Thought I'd finally make that rack of ribs." You replied, motioning at the salad you had been cutting up, "and salad. And baked potatoes."
"Right on, little momma. Everything good here?" He said, releasing you and reaching for a glass tumbler.
"Far as I know." You shrugged, gasping as something pushed you into the counter slightly.
You looked down quickly to a pair a deep brown eyes, a wet black nose, and lolling pink tongue.
You shot Ramsay a dirty, disbelieving look.
"Rams. I told you, I'm too tired to keep up with a puppy." You said, kneeling down to love all over the puppy regardless.
"You keep bitching about how boring it is here. So I solved your problem." Ramsay shrugged, pouring his whiskey into the ice filled tumbler.
You rolled your eyes, but grinned anyways, "name?"
"Don't know. Fuck Head if he pukes in the floorboard again."
"Puppy!" Tyene said excitedly, walking in the kitchen. "Look at these ears!"
"See. Someone likes puppies at least." Ramsay sneered, leaving the kitchen.
"I'm naming him!" You called after your husband.
"Then I get to name our son. Choose wisely." Ramsay called back.
You pursed your lips, turning to the sink to wash your hands.
"Think if I choose a stupid enough name for the dog Ramsay will choose a decent name for our child?"
Tyene snorted, "no. He would do anything to get under your skin."
You sighed, "you're right. But as long as my son isn't named Kylo or Anakin, or... Han Solo."
"Nah, it would be more like Bruce or Clark. Maybe Steve or... what's Iron Man's name?" Tyene laughed.
"Tony." you said, curling your lip in distaste .
"See, Anakin Bolton sounds better than Tony Bolton in my opinion."
"You are not helping." You laughed.
"I'm here to keep secrets and do dirty deeds. Not help defend you against your husband's terrible choices in names." Tyene giggled, scooping up the puppy and leaving you alone in the kitchen.
×××
Matt rested the side of his face on the table, "Can I just adopt you both so I can eat like this every day?"
"Sure. And you can move in and sleep in the spare bedroom right next to ours. You will love that. Right when you're little baby ass is so close to dreamland." Ramsay smirked.
Your cheeks warmed.
Matt snorted.
"Don't believe me, kid? I am a sex god."
Tyene caught your eye and you looked away quickly, embarrassment swallowing you as you stared at your hands in your lap.
"Boss, don't mean to interrupt your bragging, but we have a situation." Damon said, looking up from his phone. "Check your shit."
Ramsay pat himself down, casting around for his phone.
"Couch, dear." You said, frowning as the atmosphere in the room turned from cozy and happy to tense and on edge.
Ramsay left the kitchen in a hurry. You could hear him cursing in the other room.
He returned to the kitchen, lighting a cigarette and pulling his coat on.
"Let's go then, Boys. Looks like we're playing cop detail." Ramsay mumbled through his cigarette.
Matt, Damon, and Alyn rose from the table.
"Ben and Yellow Dick will meet us at the shop."
You frowned, watching the men scramble around to grab up coats and guns.
Ramsay placed a kiss to the top of your head, "I'll be back as quickly as I can. I love you."
"You boys be careful. I love you too." You said, watching them leave.
"Wonder what's going on?" Tyene asked.
"I'll ask Charlotte. Damon always had the scanner on." You said pulling your phone from your pocket.
[You: hey, what's going on? The Boys just left here in a hurry?]
"You go sit down and relax. I'll clean up the kitchen. You busted your ass to make dinner. Now it's my turn." Tyene said.
You simply nodded, realizing how tired you were. You walked into the living room, curling up under your blanket on the couch. A cold, wet nose nudging your hand tucked under the throw pillow.
You grinned, grabbing the remote and pulling the puppy up on the couch with you. He made himself as small as possible to lay with you. You dreaded how big he was going to be, judging by the size of his feet.
You flipped through TV channels. Your phone vibrated.
[Charlotte: no idea. I'm working tonight. I'll see what I can find out and let you know.]
[You: thank you! Oh, we are having a boy, btw.]
[Charlotte: awe! I'll be by tomorrow and you can tell me all about it. But give me about 20 to see if I can find out what's going on.]
You set your phone back down, scratching the puppy between the ears and closing your eyes.
After lying still for awhile you could feel the fluttering movements in your stomach.
My son. You thought with a small, sad smile, resting your hand on your belly.
"Uh... (y/n)?" Tyene's voice said from far away.
"Hm?" You hummed, opening your blearily eyes a bit
"TV."
You blinked a few times and glanced over at the TV. You must of fallen asleep as the ten o'clock news was on.
It took you a moment to realize what you were looking at. But when it hit you, you couldn't help but make a noise in your throat, sitting up straight, scaring the puppy who yelped loudly.
The police station. Burning to the ground.
"Hold on folks... we are getting reports that Robb Stark, Ned Stark's son, has just been shot... oh... And his... oh god. Excuse us while we cut to a quick break. Stay tuned for more breaking news..." The news reporter was saying, his face pale and upset, pushing the earphone further in his ear to listen better.
You glanced over at Tyene and frantically felt around for your phone.
"Take the pup out back please." You said, finally closing your fingers around your phone.
2 new texts.
[Charlotte: not 100 on what's going on, but the Boys are safe. They are there as a bumper for whatever is going on. Not directly involved.]
[Rams: do not worry.]
You frowned, looking back at the TV, wishing the stupid truck commercial would hurry up and be over so you could find out exactly what was going on.
You sat on the edge of the couch, eyes glued to the TV.
Robb Stark dead. His poor girlfriend, dead. Doctor Cat, also dead. All three murdered in cold blood. According to the sources, the poor older woman watched her son and his woman die before she was finally killed.
Would that happen to You? Would you watch your husband die before the cold metal was turned on you?
What about the other Starks? Did Sansa know? What about your little street racer? Then there were the two youngest. Both boys. You knew nothing about them.
Where the fuck was Ramsay? Did he set the blaze to the police station? Who killed the Starks?
What a very weird, unsettling day. Seemed to be setting the mood for what was to come.

Friends, Then? Chapter 2
Title: Friends, Then?
Chapter Title: Elijah, Then?
Couple: Carolijah
Characters: Caroline Forbes, Katherine Pierce, Damon Salvatore, Elijah Mikaelson, and Rebekah Mikaelson
Rated: T to M
Caroline Forbes woke up to the early morning light surrounded by bed sheets that were no longer hugging the corners of the mattress. The comforter and pillows had fallen off of the bed after last night's rambunctious activities. The room reeked of the obvious scent that a hard night of heavy sex would make. They had really done a number on the room and then just passed out in their own sweat and other bodily fluids.
Her roommate had her head rested on the vampire's shoulder, hair lightly spilling everywhere. Her slim arm was slung across Caroline's bare chest, and her tanned leg was repeating the action over paler thighs. She was very unconscious, and the blonde was amazed that it took her that long to lose all energy. Putting a human with a vampire was probably not the smartest idea, but after last night, it certainly was a great one.
Katherine stirred slightly to nestle her face further into Caroline's skin as she shivered lightly. The latter admired the girl sleep, mindlessly tracing her fingers across her slumbering roommate. Her eyes closed as she recalled their three in the morning affair. Every touch, kiss, moan, and cry replayed in her brain. It was amazing, epic, passionate, dangerous, scandalous. Sex that she had always wanted but never got. Now she could cross that off her bucket list.
A bang echoed through the room, followed by three hard knocks. Jumping up out of bed, Caroline both freaked out and shoved Katherine onto the floor causing her to wake. She let out a moan of pain before the blonde shushed her. Another knock sounded causing the girls to look at each other waiting for an answer on what to do.
"Blondie, open up." Damon's voice rang into their ears. "Come on, I'm even knocking this time. Now open the door before I bust it in."
"Just a minute!" Caroline shouted back as she worked. Opening windows, using air freshener, anything to remove the smell that haunted the room. Katherine removed the sheets, picked up the comforter, and slid the pillow cases off of their homes. Tossing the heavy load of bedding into the laundry basket, she then picked up all four items of clothing belonging to her and ran into the bathroom.
"Alright, way more than a minute has passed. What are you hiding?" The male vampire demanded, banging on the door once again.
"Gah, I'm not hiding anything. I just want to hop in the shower for three minutes to rinse off my face mask. I look like a monster so don't come in." Caroline lied, scrunching her face up as she threw word after word out of her mouth.
True to her word, she jumped into the shower, ignoring the cold water, and soaked herself. A quick scrub and rinse later, she threw on her plush pink robe and ran to the door. She gave the room a once over to make sure she didn't miss anything. Another second delay in burying her clothes under the comforter in the laundry basket and she was done. Nobody would have to know about last night's activities.
"Damn, alright. What do you want?" Caroline hissed the question, opening the door to reveal the impatient guest. He rolled his eyes and strolled in.
"I'm here to relieve you of babysitting duty. Where is Katherine?" Damon both answered and asked, scanning the room for the doppelganger in question.
"She is taking a shower. And why do you need to relieve me? We are doing fine here.? The baby vampire sat down on her empty bed and looked at the older man.
"Silas wants to become human. He promised to give up Stefan's location if we give him the cure. So tell the bitch to shower faster, we are going." The dark haired vampire explained with anger dripping from his voice. Caroline's eyes widened at the response. She didn't know what to expect, but that definitely wasn't on the list.
"Damon, just find Stefan on your own. It can't be too hard. Do not give into Silas. It's not worth it." Caroline begged, meeting his baby blue eyes with her own.
"I don't even know where to begin looking. And why do you care about Katherine all of a sudden? Please don't tell me you roommate bonded and are now besties." Damon complained back to his frenemy.
"Maybe we did. It's none of your business. Don't turn her over to Silas, he'll kill her." She stated bravely. The older vampire rolled his eyes before his response.
"Good riddance." He growled. His anger was short lived as Caroline snapped his neck and laid him onto the ground. She grimaced at the idea of Stefan suffering because she won't give up Katherine, but erased the thought quickly from her mind.
With her vampire speed, something she definitely came to love, Caroline sped around the room handling what she needed. In less than five minutes, two bags were packed with clothes, hair care products, shoes, and dental hygiene products. Zipping them closed, she turned to ready herself. Throwing on an outfit was quick and easy to do.
Now that she was dressed and had packed for two, she ran into the bathroom just as the shower turned off. Katherine stepped out, soaking wet and dripping onto the floor. She shivered at the cold air and Caroline watched as her nipples hardened due to the chill. She smushed her lips together and looked up, trying to clear any naughty thoughts from her brain.
"Like what you see, Care?" Katherine gave her a dirty smirk before wrapping a towel around her slim body.
"You already know that I do, but that's not why I am here. I snapped Damon's neck. We have up to four hours to get out of here." Caroline explained, tossing clothes at the shorter girl.
"Wait, why? You snapped Damon's neck! I would've paid to see that. But where are we going and why are we leaving?" Words and questions flew from Katherine's mouth as she struggled to get dressed.
"Silas wants you, so Damon wants to give you to him. To die. I don't know where we are going yet but we are leaving." More explanations came from the taller girl as she helped Kat put on her clothing
"So you are going to run with me. Aww, we'll be like a lesbian Bonnie and Clyde. So cute and romantic. I'll assume you want a June wedding?" The doppelganger sarcastically mocked the blonde and she tied her hair up sloppily and left the bathroom. "Well, let's get going."
xXx
So Caroline may have fibbed to the paranoid teen. She did know where she was going. It was partially for Katherine's sake, but mostly to live out her fantasy with the big bad hybrid. A secret that the brunette will have to deal with not knowing.
As of this moment, she could only picture all the things she was going to do to Klaus. So many naughty things that made her toes curl just thinking about it. Her dreams would finally be a reality in the next day or so. But she had to focus. They would never reach New Orleans if her sex hazed thoughts landed them in a car crash that killed them both. Or if she needed to pull over and let Katherine go down on her again.
Even if she wanted another go with her sexy roommate, now was neither the place nor the time. One, they were on the run and needed to put distance between themselves and Mystic Falls. Two, she didn't want to wake Katherine up after she had passed out in the passenger seat. The poor girl was going on three hours of sleep after one hell of a night and then one active morning. She was human, after all, and needed the proper rest of a teenage girl.
Fourteen hours, nine bathroom breaks, five gas breaks, and one traffic jam later, the two were finally in New Orleans. Sure there were arguments on Katherine's side, but Caroline showed her the light. She still wasn't happy, but the blonde decided that her partner would just have to get over it on her own time.
Pulling into the only available parking spot in the public garage, they grabbed their bags from the backseat and vacated the car. Caroline carelessly slung the duffel bag over her shoulder and made her way out of the concrete building. Katherine followed quickly after, her suitcase rolling behind her like a puppy on a leash.
"You don't mind if I leave you by yourself, do you?" The blonde asked once the reached the outside.
"Umm, yeah, kinda. You take me to my enemy's town and now you are going to leave me alone?" The response flew from the doppelganger as she glared up at Caroline.
"Well, I want to go find Klaus and run this by him first. It will probably be best if you do don't come along. I want to make sure he agrees before you two are near each other." The vampire explained.
"Translation: Katherine, I'm going to fuck him into agreeing with me." She shook her head while rolling her eyes. The blonde just smirked and ran off, leaving Katherine all alone.
xXx
Caroline stood in front of the old plantation that now housed the hybrid she was seeking. She knocked hard on the door, waiting for someone to answer it. Nobody needed to. As soon as she applied pressure to the door, it slowly opened. She placed her arm through the door. Once she realised that she did not need an invitation to enter, she peered her head in.
It looked empty, but this was just the foyer. Not every part of the house could be seen from the doorway. With a deep breath, mustering up the courage she needed, Caroline stepped into the building and closed the door behind. She wandered out of the entryway and into the home area, admiring the high-class decor that surrounded her.
"Who are you and why are you here?" A voice questioned from behind her. It was male, light accent, and very easy to listen to. She carefully turned around to face the person.
He wasn't very tall for a man, but very attractive. He was dressed in a suit that probably cost more than Caroline's car. His crisp white shirt was tucked in and his olive tie was neatly done. Very respectable looking and definitely nice to stare at. She kept looking at him up and done, trying to conclude who he was before answering his question. When she came up blank, she gave him a shrug.
"My name is Caroline. I am looking for Klaus." She responded strongly, she had gathered the courage to talk to Klaus and now she was going to use it all in the conversation. This man intimidated her even though he only said one sentence to her.
"He isn't here at the moment. May I take a message?" He asked, studying her carefully. She blushed under his intense gaze and shook her head.
"It really isn't the kind of thing you can take as a message, unless you are interested." Caroline flirted easily, deciding that he wasn't that scary. Needless to say, she was bored and horny. If Klaus wasn't there, she would just take someone else. Plus, she wanted to have some fun.
The man smirked in response, a playful gleam in his eyes. "I'd gladly take the message for you." He whispered taking a step closer until he was right by her ear. "But I'm afraid, I don't just fuck any girl who walks through that door."
Leaning into him, Caroline let her lips brush his skin before hovering near his ear. "It is a good thing I'm not just any girl." She flirted with a sultry tone. The blonde was channelling Katherine for this. She knew how to flirt, but her roommate knew how to seduce. And apparently, it was working.
He pressed his body up against hers, allowing her to feel his hard muscles hiding under his clothes. "I'm not that kind of guy, Caroline."
"Your physical response tells me otherwise, sir." The baby vampire pushed her thigh against the man's crotch, feeling its hardened state through his pants. She bit her upper lip and looked him in his eyes. She contemplated what she was about to do to this complete stranger. But meeting his eyes, seeing the lust that matched her own, she didn't know if she could walk away from this.
Grabbing his back with both hands, she closed the gap between their lips. He responded as quickly as she'd done it. She assumed that he just hadn't been laid in awhile and that he was relieving tension as much as she was. Her arms snaked out from under his arms and grasped the back of his neck. Her fingers tangled in his short hair and dug in.
His lips parted, allowing her access to his mouth. Sliding her tongue in, she exploded with his taste. Whiskey rested on the surface of his own tongue, but she could also taste something else. What was it? Peanut butter, definitely peanut butter. It mixed well with the alcohol for some odd reason.
Caroline hoped that her taste wasn't bad. She had not had time to brush her teeth since yesterday when Damon had unceremoniously caused her to leave. Though, if her breath was gross, he didn't seem to care in the slightest. He just returned her kisses as ferociously as she gave them.
Elijah felt like he should stop. He did not know this girl and she didn't know him. Hell, she didn't even know his name. He was better than this. At least, he should be. Either one of his siblings could come home at any minute, same with Hayley. And what would they see? The 'noble' brother playing tonsil hockey with some stranger that had originally come to do this to Klaus.
He didn't stop, though. He didn't know why. Was it because he couldn't or simply because he didn't want to. He knew he was horny, but that did not give him the excuse to act like a teenage boy in a porno. But he still didn't cease, and he wasn't going to. The original couldn't explain the reason, he just wasn't going to stop.
Wrapping her arms around his back, Caroline's hands grasped between his shoulder blades and yanked her closer. She concluded that her new partner was a vampire, or he could hold his breath for an unnaturally long time. So it was the former.
She could sense some pull on his part, maybe he was changing his mind. Instead, he walked the blonde backwards without breaking their kiss. Her back pressed up against what felt like the other side of a sofa. Her front pressed against the sexy stranger. In just a few days, she was having two scandalous hookups. One with her female roommate and now with this complete and utter stranger whose name she didn't even know.
Without any hesitation, Caroline reached under her little white skirt and yanked the matching panties down to her ankles. Elijah broke away from the kiss and smirked at her. He hoisted her up onto the top of the couch as she pulled off his belt and worked on the zipper. Much to her annoyance, it stuck and she didn't know how he felt about her ripping it.
Elijah grabbed her hands and pushed them away. Her eyes widened, wondering if he changed his mind. Instead of leaving, he undid his pants for her and took out his erect cock. Caroline gasped and bit her upper lip in shock.
"Oh my," She whispered heavily, "It's so big." Her eyes were as large as they could get as she stared lustfully at him.
"I want it inside of me." The blonde consented.
He placed himself right at her entrance, mentally grinning at how soaked she was. Gently, he slid the tip in, watching his partner tilt her head back and sigh. Then, with more force than intended, he shoved his entire length inside of Caroline's slick pussy.
"Oh, fuck!" She screamed, wrapping her legs his waist and pulling him forward.
Claiming another kiss from her, Elijah began to thrust inside of her. Her heavy breathing and moans against his mouth a sign that he was doing good. He pumped in and out slowly, very slowly, feeling her from the inside as whines emitted from the girl.
"Faster," Caroline demanded, breaking from the kiss.
"As you wish." He huskily said as he picked up the pace.
In, out, in out. Speeding up, he slammed into her as fast as he could. The both moaning loudly and the sound of skin hitting skin echoed throughout the large house. Elijah was suddenly glad that nobody was home. The noise level was getting higher and higher.
"Oh fuck, oh god. Yes!" The blonde vampire chanted out a series of moans and curse words. Her voice was like music to his ears and encouraged him to keep the tempo.
Through her shirt, he used one hand to roughly massage her breasts. The other hand gripped her hip to hold her in place as he fucked her hard. The girl's moaning was beginning to get high pitched and he knew that an orgasm was building up. His own was coming too, but he attempted to hold it off for his partner to finish first.
Slamming harder into her, he watched Caroline throw her head back and roll her eyes inward. Her body began to convulse both inside and out as her orgasm hit her. Elijah watched her orgasm come and go before he allowed himself to let go. His breathing got heavier and more spaced out as he felt his own orgasm build.
"Cum inside me." The blonde whispered in his ear before giving him a wet kiss. Almost as soon as she said it, he felt himself release his entire load into her body.
The both stood/sat there, leaning into each other with deep breathing. Caroline rested her head on her partner's shoulder and breathed deeply.
"That was fun." She said with a smile. He nodded back with a laugh as he fixed his pants.
Both vampires heard the door open and someone walk in. Freaking out, Caroline hopped off the couch and pulled her soaked panties back up. Elijah just finished adjusting his clothes as Rebekah walked in.
"You won't believe how crowded Rousseau's is tod- Caroline?" The blonde Original froze in her tracks as soon as she turned the corner. "Caroline, what are you doing here?" She questioned angrily before turning to her brother. "What is she doing here, Elijah?"
Elijah, the name sounded familiar to Caroline. Oh shit. Elijah was Klaus' older brother. She fucked Klaus' brother. Oh god, no. Katherine was going to kill her and then Klaus was going to. She should have figured it out earlier, with all of the things said about him. Wears a suit, dapper, extremely sexy. Yep, she was so dead.
With a deep breath, she answered Rebekah; "I was looking for Klaus. Elijah tells me that he isn't here. I guess I'll be going." Caroline all but ran out of both the room and the house.
xXx
It wasn't too hard to find Katherine upon leaving the old plantation. She was in Rousseau's trying to buy herself a drink, looking very dishevelled. The blonde walked up and sat down next to her, quickly ordering drinks for the two of them.
"Rough day, Kat?" Caroline questioned tiredly. The brunette looked at her with a smirk.
"Actually, it wasn't so bad. I saw Klaus, and got him to agree to protect me from Silas. And I got us a hotel room to stay in." Katherine explained, recounting what she had done since they parted ways.
"That's good. I instead got to talk to Rebekah and meet Elijah." The blonde replied.
"Ahh, how did that work out?" Asked the doppelganger.
"It was surprisingly really fun." Caroline smiled wide, accepting her drink from the blonde bartender, and taking a long sip.
Katherine decided to not even ask what the vampire meant by that. Instead, she took her own drink and grinned remembering her day's events.

Never Enough
Present #2 for the captain of our fandom @hastaquelleguestua. Love you Mary!
It truly wasn’t anyone’s fault but her own. In the end, it wasn’t her mom, her dad, Matt, Bonnie, or even really Elena. No, after all was said and all was done, it was Caroline’s fault, because no one else could give her the strength to face her insecurities. And so she let them own her instead.
It started out when she was quite young and her dad left them. Caroline had been furious, as she had always been a daddy’s girl at heart. How dare he leave his princess!
“Daddy, Daddy, don’t leave, please don’t leave!” She cried, tears rolling down her little cheeks.
Bill just sighed, continuing to dump all of his belongings into his car. “Care,” he turned towards her, “I’m sorry, but I have to.”
“If this is about mom or I we can change!” she begged, grabbing onto his hands that cupped her cheeks. “I can change Daddy, please love me enough to stay!”
He simply shook his head, and with a final “I’m sorry,” he was gone.
That was the first time that Caroline learned that she was just not enough for people, and that despite doing her best, she couldn’t make people stay. But even as her father’s words echoed in her ears, she continued on. A little doubt was not going to stop her from blowing the world away!
But then came in perfect Elena Gilbert, and poor Caroline was no match.
With her golden skin, long rich hair, and eyes that could make anyone fall in love with her, Elena was perhaps Caroline’s worst nightmare. Mostly because Caroline couldn’t hate her either, after all, she’d fallen under the Elena spell just like everyone else.
For many years she survived it.
She survived teachers giving Caroline detention for being late, but just giving Elena a smile.
She survived Elena getting a higher mark in every course they did together.
She survived boys flocking to her, while Caroline fought for attention.
She survived Elena and Bonnie having private sleepovers when she became “too much.”
She survived her mom not believing her, because “Elena’s a nice girl Care, try to be more like her!”
She survived Matt dating her just because Elena wasn’t available.
Hell, she survived Damon using her to get to Elena and his brother!
But what broke her? Stefan Salvatore.
Mostly because he didn’t even know them. He didn’t know about the competition that only Caroline seemed to be worried about, even though she was always the loser. He didn’t know the way that she was constantly overshadowed.
He didn’t know any of it, and he still picked Elena.
Which lead to her confessing her drunk feelings to Bonnie, who thought that she was being ridiculous because she didn’t understand, no one did. That of course lead to the whole Damon fiasco, and then the Matt trouble, and throughout it all Caroline knew one thing.
Stefan Salvatore represented the rest of her life, and for the rest of Caroline’s life, she would be second. Simply because she didn’t have enough in her to be “the one” because she was always too blonde, too controlling, too high maintenance, too needy, too much, too much, too much.
Even years later it was still quite hard to completely shove that down, because it had been such a huge part of her life since she was a child. For as long as Caroline could remember these insecurities haunted her, until she was less of a person and more a ball of anxiety.
So when she woke up, gasping for air that she didn’t really need, she wasn’t that shocked. Nightmares did still haunt her, perhaps not as often as they used to, but still frequently enough that she wasn’t too surprised.
Her gaze naturally drifted to the man asleep next to her, so peaceful and relaxed, that Caroline couldn’t bring herself to disturb him. So with quiet steps she rose from the bed, and headed downstairs, thinking that perhaps a blood bag would calm her down.
And distract her from thinking about how Stefan Salvatore was in her bed.
With shaky hands, she poured some blood into a mug and slipped it into the microwave. Her feet were cold against the tile, and she tried to use it to distract herself from the thoughts now crowding around in her head.
I wonder if he has any doubts yet.
Caroline shook her head, beginning to ring her hands together, as the thoughts began to make themselves known. After all, Stefan had been with her for a while, and if he had any strange thoughts, he would make them known to her.
Would he? Him and Elena have been spending an awful lot of time together.
Caroline rolled her eyes at the thought of that. After all, when Elena woke up from that damn sleeping curse, and her and Damon finally tore their hands off each other, Elena had once again struck up old friendships. With of course Bonnie and Caroline, but also Stefan, because apparently “epic love” can become “epic friendship.”
Probably better than our friendship, just like their romance was better.
Caroline quickly grabbed the mug out of the microwave, it still wasn’t even warm, but she needed an activity. The door was still open, the time remaining left on the screen, as she began to gulp down the red liquid.
She was always better. I bet he’s with her already, behind my back.
With jerky movements she threw the empty mug into the sink, barely hearing it shatter, as she grabbed some cleaning supplies, and wooshed to the living room, where she began to scrub the fire.
He hates you, he wants to leave you.
Scrubbing hard with the sponge, she didn’t even notice the tears leaking down her face.
Not good enough. Never good enough.
Suddenly, the sponge was gone, and Caroline found herself with her cheeks cupped, staring into the eyes of a wild looking Stefan Salvatore.
“Caroline, what are you doing?” Stefan asked, bewildered. “I heard shattering, and then I come down here to find you stress cleaning.”
Caroline shook her head, wildly. “I wasn’t stress cleaning, I noticed a spot on the fire place, and, and-“
“Shh, shhh,” Stefan cooed, stopping her rambling and moving one of his hands to grip her own. It was only then that Caroline realized that she was pulling on her fingers. “It’s okay, it’s okay.”
Finally, she let out a sob, and allowed Stefan to pull her into an embrace. This wasn’t the first time that he had witnessed something like this after all. Similarly to how she knew how to deal with his ripper tendencies, he knew how to calm her down after a night like this.
“What happened?” he asked, after her shaking had subsided.
“I was-“ she became embarrassed then, not wanting to say it.
He pulled away, so that their forehead’s rested on each other’s and he could look into her eyes. “Caroline you can tell me, I mean how long have we been together now?”
“Over thirty years,” Caroline admitted, with a small smile.
Stefan returned an even bigger grin, “Exactly, and you’ve spent twenty nine of those years as my wife,” he paused, now becoming serious. “Please tell me.”
Caroline took a breath, “It was about you and Elena again.”
She could see Stefan sigh, and just closed her eyes in shame. After all, it was almost thirty years to the day that Bonnie had decided to join Enzo fully, and become a vampire. As Bonnie had technically died, Elena had woken up, and while Caroline had been ecstatic, she was also terrified.
After all, throughout Caroline’s life, Elena meant misery.
And so she didn’t talk to Stefan for a whole week, waiting for him to call off the engagement, and say that he was going back to her. But he never did, and once that June passed, and she became known as “Caroline Salvatore,” the doubt grew smaller.
Then the married couple had travelled the world, and planted roots all over. Meaning that once again the doubt lessened a little. Following that, they came to France, where their small house stood, and even when Elena visited, Stefan only had eyes for her. Which meant that the doubt got smaller yet.
Every “I love you,” every kiss, every time he treated her how she always wanted to be treated, the doubt got tinier and tinier. But it would always be there.
So when Caroline admitted this to Stefan, he may have been slightly disappointed, but he was not surprised. After all, this had happened before, and although it pained him to say it, this would happen again. If only she knew that Elena is nothing compared to her.
But this was also his Caroline, and although he hated that sometimes her insecurity still bested her, he would never complain. Simply because, it was his job to make that doubt even smaller, and to make her realize that she was his one and she always would be.
So he did, what he did every time something like this happened. “Caroline,” he began, waiting for her to look at him, “you don’t need me or anyone else telling you that you’re good enough or strong enough, because you already know that you are, and that you always have been. But know that, I will always be here for you, and not Elena or anyone else can take that away. You’re my person, my wife, and the love of my life; but you have to believe that Caroline.”
The blonde nodded her head, before pushing forward and connecting their lips. Once again her eyes leaked tears, although this time not from sadness, but rather happiness and hope. She knew that Stefan loved her, sometimes she just needed a reminder that he loved every part of her.
After all, he was enough for her, and even though she had doubts, she knew in her heart that she was enough for him.

Hooray for the Texas Dems who walked out to block the outrageous voting bill there. I mean, amongst other things, the GOP want to make it EASIER for a judge to throw out votes based on ALLEGATIONS. They say the removal of hours for Sunday voting was just a “mistake.” There is talk of not paying the Dems but I don’t think they can do that. The GOP claims there are hundreds of incidents of voter fraud and they will prove it when the time is right. Um…..

So, there is a worker shortage?? Perhaps if we made it easier to get hired, things would work better. Can owners and managers actually look at a person and go with their gut? Can we get rid of drug tests and long online applications and psych exams? The $ spent on administrative work for hiring is ruining this country. A normal person has to jump thru hoops just to wash dishes anymore. We are not ll cookie cutter people. Often there are no rewards for loyal employees, not to mention benefits. And the laziness of employers who will then not do anything about bad employees that disrupt the work place is astounding. Ramsay Bolton x Reader
ao3
Summary:  You are the wife to the Heir of the Red Kings, Ramsay Bolton. living the undercover life of a mob wife has its perks, and you love your husband. But you find out something that seems to unfold a series of unwanted events…
**self-mutilation mention
Chapter 50: Beautiful Day
Ramsay rose from his chair as you finished eating. He pulled out your chair and offered his hand to you with a wide smile.
You offered your own small smile and took his hand. His hand was warm. It was comfortable, as your fingers were cold. It was cold in this dining room.
"I thought you mighta grown tired of your boring company and could use a bath before bed." He said, leading you up the stairs to his room. "And I hope you don't mind sleeping in this room tonight. I'm having the master bedroom redone tomorrow for us."
"This is fine, baby." You said quietly. As if you were going to say 'no'. Ha.
"Why are you so quiet? I thought you would be excited? The Dreadfort is finally ours. Little Damon is far enough out of the city now where he can hunt and fish and all those others things you miss. I did this for you, baby girl." Ramsay said, his smile faltering slightly as you both entered the room.
"Oh, baby, don't think I'm not excited! I am so excited! I'm just tired. You kinda forced a lot on my body today... and it's made me very tired." You said. It was half true. But you were also in shock and... angry with your husband for subjecting you to possible harm and deep humiliation.
"You don't have to get out of bed tomorrow if you don't want." He said gently, leading you through the door to the bathroom.
"Will you stay in bed all day with me?" You asked as you let him undress you, realizing you were shaking slightly.
"I'm afraid I cannot. It will be a busy day. I'll have press conferences, and building plans to set up, and a million other things now that I am the Bolton in charge. Weapons business, Red Kings, Bastard's Boys. I've got my hands full tomorrow." He said, stepping away from you to turn the shower on.
"What did you do with your father?"
"Oh, he's still alive. For now. And nobody needs to know that. You're good at keeping secrets... so keep that to yourself. Now, shower and crawl in bed. I will be with you shortly." He said, kissing your forehead and leaving, the door snapping sharply behind him.
You were curled up under the blankets, rubbing your belly, and humming a lullabye, when Ramsay came in. He said nothing as he crossed the room to the bathroom door, closing it quietly.
You laid there listening to him sing in the shower and smiled as you continued to rub your belly until your son must have finally fallen asleep and quit moving around like a wild child.
Ramsay crawled into bed a few minutes later and pulled you in as close as he could. Your back pressed flush to his chest. He kissed along the nape of your neck, and ran his hand along your thigh. A deep warmth and wet spreading between your legs as you longed for him and his soft touches.
"Do you have any idea how perfect you were today, my queen?" He purred, pushing himself up on his elbow to lean forward to kiss and bite at your neck and jaw.
"No. But I am glad to have pleased you, daddy." You replied, closing your eyes tight and shifting slightly to lay more on your back.
"I keep falling further in love with you. It's making me stupid." He hummed, sliding his hand between your legs.
"I'm sorry I've upset you and hurt you, baby." You said with a small sigh, relaxing into his touch.
He made a small noise but said nothing as he traced his fingers over your folds and pressed his body firmer against you.
"You tasted different today, why?" He asked, as if you had a reason.
"Um, I dunno baby? Maybe it's just because it's been a few days?" You replied, shifting your head so you could kiss him.
"Well then come sit on my face. You haven't sat on my face in months." He purred, pushing away from you to lay on his back.
"But I'm fat and heavy now. I don't wanna suffocate you." You giggled, rolling over and straddling him.
"Suffocate away, baby girl." He smirked, looking up at you through a primal glare.
You gave a grin, climbing up his body, and positioning yourself, grabbing onto the headboard to distribute your weight evenly on your knees.
He made a deep noise of longing as he buried his face between your legs. You drew a tiny gasp as he slid his tongue inside you and grabbed onto your thighs with a tight grip that would likely leave bruises.
He hummed in pleasure as he pulled you closer into him with one hand, letting his other hand wander your body, until he cupped one of your breasts, taking your nipple between thumb and forefinger.
You moaned, dropping a hand from the headboard to tangle in his damp hair, pulling slightly.
He bit, lapped, and sucked harder, the harder you pulled at his hair. The hot desire at your core reaching boiling point.
"Daddy." You panted, pulling his hair harder, struggling to breath.
He gave your thigh a nudge and you climbed off. He pushed himself up, grabbing your leg and placing your knee against his chest as he buried himself inside you.
You drew a sharp gasp, clawing at his arm, as he thrust harder. You dug your nails into his arm, feeling him shake as he held himself up.
You pushed your head back into the mattress with a loud moan.
"Louder." He panted, thrusting harder.
You gripped his arm harder and pushed your hips into him as hard you could, moaning and gasping loudly.
"Harder daddy!" you cried.
You found a sloppy rhythm with him and felt the warmth of your high forming.
He let deep noises escape him, and ploughed into you without relent until his breathing was so heavy he had to gasp for air.
You quaked and your whole body went weak as your high hit you from nowhere it seemed as he pushed his whole weight into you.
You screamed out as you never had before, your whole body tingling and shaking.
He roared in ecstasy as he felt your high hit you, his grip on your leg painful as he held himself steady, trying to keep himself from falling into you, as your belly was now too round to lay on completely.
Both of you were still, drawing shaky, wheezy kinds of gasps. He leaned forward, placing his lips between your breasts and inhaling deeply.
"I love the way you smell." he whispered, placing a gentle kiss to your skin as he pulled away from you.
You lay there, watching him clean himself.
"You smell better." You said with a small smile.
"No. Together we smell... Oh baby girl, I love the smell of our fuck. If I could bottle this smell." He said, inhaling deeply again, wiping his brow on his arm and falling into the bed.
Slowly you sat up, pulling your hair into a loose braid and taking the discarded shirt he held out to you, "and what would you call it?"
He stared up at the celiling, thinking.
"Eden." he said after a few moments.
You gave a warm smile, "Eden." you repeated, crawling under the blanket.

"Alright, doll. I'm out of here. I will try to be home for dinner, but Ben has already informed me I have multiple interviews and conferences set up about the fire yesterday and becoming the new owner of our business. If you need anything, the help are at your command." Ramsay said, fixing his tie clip and leaning in to kiss you.
"Of course baby." You hummed, kissing him back. You gave him a quick glance over as he pulled away. "Oop. Wait a second, baby." You said, grabbing his tie, pulling him closer to you, and sweeping his hair to the side. "Now you look like a sexy murder king."
He gave you a smirk and a wink. He gave you a quick air kiss before closing the door behind him. You sat up looked around, finding the suitcase of clothes you had packed the night before last on the floor, along with your purse.
You dressed slowly, opening the bathroom window. It was warm today and the sky was a brilliant forget me not blue. A perfect day. Maybe you would take breakfast on the patio and enjoy the fresh and warm sun for the day. You had nothing else to do.
You picked up your phone from your purse, left the room, and headed straight to the patio.
"Breakfast, ma'am?" A woman asked.
"Just a bowl of oatmeal is fine." You said, glancing down at your phone. No new calls or texts. Seems word hadn't gotten out yet. For that you were thankful. You were too tired to deal with nosey, worried family this morning.
You sat, basking in the sun, half dozing when little arms encased you. You peeked your eye open to see Kaden.
"Aunt (y/n)!" He beamed.
He released you and you sat up straight, smiling at him. You set your magazine aside and pulled him in for a hug.
"Hey, trouble. Why are you here?" You asked, pressing your finger to the tip of his nose.
"Looks like we are to be roomies." A female voice behind you said.
You turned quickly to see Liz. You practically cried in excitement, rising as quickly from your seat as your pregnant belly would let you, hugging Liz tight.
"Look at you!" You smiled, pulling away from her.
"And you. Look at this belly!" She laughed, placing her hand on your belly.
You took Liz in. She had lost so much weight. It made you sad. Ben always talked so much about her curves and "that ass". She had paled, and her eyes looked tired. But she wore a bright smile, as she slid her sunglasses to sit on the bandanna she wore to cover her head.
"I'm tired of this belly. Is it June yet?" You laughed, "but you, how are you?"
"I'm starting to feel better. Now that the cold is leaving and I've spent time in the sun I feel much better. I'll be done with chemo end of next month." Liz shrugged.
An aged, severe looking woman stopped behind Liz. This must have been the hateful mother in law Ben complained about.
"(Y/n), this is my mother, Carmen." Liz said, nodding at her mother.
"Abuela is funny. She likes to make daddy mad." Kaden giggled behind his hand.
"Well, someone needs to keep him check." Carmen said.
"Oh my God! You speak English?!" You cackled, covering your mouth with a hand.
"Mhm. For thirty years now." The old woman hummed, examining you closely, "What is your ailment?"
"Mother is very blunt." Liz said in an undertone as Carmen stepped forward and looked at you through beady eyes.
"Boys. Always harder on the body. Come on child, I will have you fattened up in no time." She tutted, grabbing your hand and pulling you along.
You wondered how Ramsay would react to this woman. That would be fun.
"Kaden, stay away from that pool or I will have your daddy get you." Liz called to Kaden who was running rampant in the yard with Moose and his puppy, Boss.
"Yes mama!"
"Kitchen?" Carmen asked, glancing around.
"Allow me." You said, taking the lead and pushing through a door at the end of the hall.
"Sit. Sit." Carmen demanded, walking straight past you to the pantry.
You sat at the bar, tapping your nails on the counter, as Liz took a seat beside you.
"So you're moving in, huh?" You asked.
"Apparently so. Ben says all the Boys are. Until Ramsay is sure he has control of the reins and can be sure they are all safe." Liz nodded.
"Well, I am glad I won't have to be alone in this empty house. But uh..." You said.
"Everything has been thoroughly cleaned. Ben told me this morning before we left." Liz cut across you as if reading your mind.
You gave a tiny sigh of relief. The last thing you wanted was for Kaden to see such a brutal murder scene. You hadn't checked. Even though this was now your house, you didn't want to snoop. Mostly afraid of making Ramsay mad.
"This is like the most amazing thing I have ever eaten!" You exclaimed, tearing into the food Carmen set before you.
Liz and Carmen laughed at you, but you didn't even care.
"So, Damon, huh?" Liz finally said after you set your fork down.
"Yeah. Damon Cain. I respect it. And maybe it will help Rams cope." You said, glancing down at your belly.
"Ironic." Carmen chimed in.
"Huh?" You asked, looking up at the woman.
"Damon. It means gentle. To tame. You know, Damon and Pythias?" She said.
You stared at her, not understanding.
"Google it."
You laughed, "yes ma'am."

"Dude, you killed him." Ben said, straightening a stack of papers.
Ramsay groaned, resting his head on the smooth surface of the dining room table with a small thud, "What about the guy under him?"
You walked over, quietly, running a nail gently up the back of Ramsay's neck before running your nails over his scalp.
"Yeah, you killed him too." Ben said, biting back a grin.
Ramsay picked his head up and glared at Ben, "think it's funny, do ya?"
Ben gave an innocent shrug and laughed, "a bit. I mean... yeah. It's fucking funny."
Ramsay wrapped his arm around your waist and you sat in his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck.
"What's wrong baby?" You asked, with a small pout.
"It would seem I have killed all the men responsible for passcodes, files, money management, and stupid tedious fucking things I need to get shit straight. And my hacker is a dumbass, and father was old fashioned." Ramsay sighed, burying his face between your breasts and inhaling deeply.
"There is plenty of time for that, baby. Take a breather. You work too much. Take the evening off. You've been working hard all day, with no play." You said, turning in his lap to straddle him, grabbing his tie and tightening it, until he made a noise of discomfort.
"As amazing as that sounds, I still have a shit ton of work to do. I have a meeting with Matt in ten." He mumbled into your cleavage, pulling your hand away, to loosen his tie some.
"I can make it quick." You whispered in his ear, taking his earlobe between your teeth.
"I don't want it to be quick." He smirked, pulling away from you to turn his attention back to Ben, "find me someone by tomorrow afternoon."
"Yes sir." Ben said, glancing down at the papers with a small frown.
"Master Ramsay, Matt is here to speak with you." An older woman said in the doorway.
"Tell him to meet me in the garage." Ramsay said, sliding you from his lap. He gave you a quick kiss and left you alone with Ben.
You sat in the empty chair, "so?"
"Damon was a hell of a man to keep up with Ramsay the way he did. Made it look so easy. Ramsay put him through shit. Dame left some big shoes to fill." Ben admitted, dropping the papers and undoing his tie.
"It'll get easier. Damon had many years to get it right." You said, offering an encouraging smile. "You should go help Liz finish settling in. I'll take Ramsay from here."
"Yes ma'am." Ben said, rising from his seat and leaving you alone in the room.
You wandered the house for awhile, running into Kaden, Moose, and, Boss.
"Don't break anything, hon! Uncle Ramsay might get you!" You called after the giggling boy.
"Yes ma'am!" Kaden shouted gleefully.
You entered the master bedroom. It was as elegant as it was big, but nothing compared to the bathroom. You fell into the mattress with a sigh. You stared up at the canopy for awhile, wondering what Ramsay had planned for his father. But you were too afraid to ask.
"What do you think, mister Damon? Think we will like it here?" You said, placing your hand on your belly, feeling your son move.
"Where is your daddy? What could he possibly be doing with Matt for an hour?" You said, getting up.
You passed a maid in the hall, "have you seen my husband?"
"No, ma'am." She said with an apologetic look.
You continued through the house, finally coming to the garage. You opened the door, always slightly taken aback by the collection of classic cars. You gave a sweeping glance across the room and spotted it.
You walked over to the '57 Bel Air and gave a knock on the window. Slowly, the window rolled down and the thick smoke rolled out the window. Ramsay stuck his head out, looking surprised to see you.
"Yes, doll?" He said, with a very stoned grin.
"What are you doing?" You asked, crossing your arms.
"Talking business with the Kid. Helping him set up the newest generation of the Bastard's Boys." Ramsay shrugged.
"Well, y'alls stoned asses should come grab some munchies. I miss you."
"Alright. I have dogs to feed anyways." Ramsay hummed, opening the door and standing with a stretch.
"What day is it? Wait... I mean time?" Matt asked looking lost and stupid.
"Seven." You replied, watching him attempt to light his cigarette but simply staring at his lighter.
Ramsay pulled his lighter and lit the cigarette. He laced his hand in yours and led you from the garage, flipping the switch, making Matt scream.
"Oh, my bad." Ramsay chuckled, flipping the switch and ushering you down the hall. "Netflix and chill?"
"It's my turn to pick." You said, holding his hand tight.
"Bleh. Fine. I'll be up in a bit." He said, kissing your cheek and dropping your hand.
You slipped into a bathrobe, laying on your bed, waiting on Ramsay. But after 45 minutes you started to worry. With a gut feeling, you walked to the cellar where you had been deposited yesterday with Roose and Walda.
You closed the door quietly, leaning against the door and taking in the scene.
Ramsay sat on the floor, picking at his nails with a knife, as he rested his elbows on his knees, cigarette hanging from his lips. He had shed his shirt and you noted his arms must be covered in his own blood as Roose was blood free, chained to his chair, looking almost bored.
"Why, father?" Ramsay murmured through his cigarette.
"Why what, Ramsay?" Roose asked with a sigh, glancing over at you.
"Why do you hate me? What did I ever do?" Ramsay said, rising slowly from the floor.
"I don't hate you, son." Roose said, again adopting his fatherly tone.
Ramsay brandished the knife at his father, "stop lying to me! You hate me and I don't understand. I was five! I looked up to you. Even after you hurt me for no fucking reason. What did I do to deserve that?"
"Nothing. You did nothing to warrant the things I did to you, Ramsay." Roose said, sounding apologetic but wearing an indifferent look.
Ramsay ran a bloody hand over his face, through his hair, and made a distressed noise.
"Remember the first time you hit me? How I screamed like a fucking beat dog? Remember how I cried and begged for you to stop?" Ramsay said with a bitter laugh and a very strangled voice.
You watched Ramsay, chewing your lip. It was almost like you could feel his pain and anger.
"Ramsay, I was drunk." Roose said. Again with the bullshit apologetic tone.
It made you angry. It made you want to take the knife from Ramsay and stab Roose in the neck.
"I hurt my wife once when I was drunk. And all I could see in that moment was the way you looked at me and how you beat me with that damn switch until I bled. How Dom just stood there watching. I couldn't fucking look at her for two days after that. It fucked me up. But I couldn't stop. Not until I had got off. Why? Why did that hurt me?" Ramsay said, back turned completely from you.
"I don't know, son. But, for what it's worth, I am sorry." Roose said, looking at Ramsay in distaste and pity.
"Sorry." Ramsay laughed, staring down at the floor. "What a stupid fucking word. I'm not. I'm not sorry for what I've been through. Because it scares you. You turned me into a fucking monster. And it was fine until you couldn't control me any longer. Molded me into this murder machine you could use to threaten others. Why did you make me kill my mother?"
Roose fixed Ramsay with a long look, ignoring your murderous glare.
"I loved your mother, son. Miller, he was my right hand for many years. He knew how in love I was with Emma. But he stole her away from me after I married Bethany. They were happy. It drove me crazy for years, into madness. So I killed him and took Emma as my mistress. She hated me for what I did. But there was no way for her to get out. And then she had you. You looked just like her. Love is a sour thing, Ramsay. It will kill you. Look at your wife," Roose shot you a venomous look, "she's already kept secrets from you. What else is she doing?"
You stood there dumbfounded. You weren't even sure what to think. Blindly, you opened the door and left as quickly as you could, running until you were leaning against the heavy door of your dark bedroom.
