            “And what would be the next step?” Lucas muses as a smile lightly graces his lips.

breaking the kiss to say something  ,  staying so close that you’re murmuring into each other’s mouths   &&    a gentle  ‘ i love you , ’  whispered after a soft kiss  ,  followed immediately by a stronger kiss

            There isn’t a lot that makes Lucas feel safe but, Farkle really is one of them. Farkle makes Lucas feel like all his worries in the world are gone, even if it’s just for a while. So, with Farkle this close to him, he smiles at him as he leans in to press his lips to Farkle’s. Softly moving his lips against the other’s as he brings a hand to gently cup Farkle’s jaw. Lucas’ lips curling lightly into the kiss.

               Pulling away ever so lightly, Lucas whispers “You make me feel safe,” against his lips, words just for Farkle to hear. Letting his thumb graze softly against Farkle’s jaw as he adds on, “I love you.” Lips capturing Farkle’s again as he kisses him again. This time he’s not as soft as he’s pouring his words into the kiss, to reinforce that he means it. He means what he said.

                       “That we can,” Lucas says as he lets a smile spread across his lips. As always, his friends never fail to make him smile, and one will always have the right thing to say - though, that isn’t always him. “We’ll do our best, and it will work out great, and for the better in the end.
