Music Transcends

As I stand here.  

Listening to this music,                              I find myself transported.  

Memories of love, 

of moments past,  

of tasks to be completed,            of beauty that left you speechless. 

Of being the ONE, in a crowd of black and white. 

Of moments where life changed in a flash,  and you learned that, no matter what,  

there was only gratitude.

I stand here and the music transcends.  Where a voice reaches the hidden corners of your heart and brings out all that you have been.  Where a trumpet and a violin if left alone in a room would trade pieces of their souls without realizing they were separate.  I stand here and the music transcends,  it flows 

                                           and moves 

and circles about 

healing 

and becoming life.
