Did a little fun design challenge with myself and decided to draw some fankids for some rarepairs (tho not sure if you could call these rarepairs since like one is kinda onesided and Rihito/Luchia isn’t unpopular). It was quite interesting to go try and make a mishmash of these four!

The boy is Michio Domoto (after a Rina/Masashiro fanfic I once read). He is unlike both his parents and is quite shy. He was born deaf but loved music and playing the piano. He’s quite a mama’s boy and loves learning about mermaid culture.

The girl is Lucy Amagi and she’s more Panthalassa than mermaid. She doesn’t have the pink pearl and gets along more with her father than her mother. Shares his love of composing and is quite a fashionista. Gets along well with her Auntie Hanon because they’re quite similar.

So instead of the seven eight daughters of Triton we’ve got the seven daughters of Luchia and Kaito! 😂

Since we’ve all collectively decided to just fix the mess that is Rukia, I decided to draw everyone’s interpretations all together! From left to right we’ve got @mahou-furbies’ Kairi, Mio, and Otoha. Center is my redesign of Lukia which I dubbed Lucy. Then we’ve got mahou-furbies Umi and Aria in the back left and @naynah-pinsence’s redesign of Lukia in the front left!

Idk I just really loved their designs and really wanted to draw them 💕 🤷‍♀️

EDIT: Added @sun-squash’s design of Lukia! Which worked out well because the whole between Lucy and Lukia was bugging me
