If the token in their way belongs to you, Ayn often adds them to his hitlist because they take up quite a bit of time in bickering over their next move.

His preferred color is blue. He is usually never the first person to come onto the board, but he is also never the last part—which is a distinction that usually falls on you. However, he often has bouts of bad luck where he ends up with suboptimal rolls at the start and end of the game.

Clarence is an absolute sweetheart and actually a decent player. He could absolutely take the troublesome trio [Ayn, Cael, Lars] on, and does so whenever you and Alkaid hang back. He's most often left with the color green, as all the other choices are always taken. Often, he pairs up with you or Alkaid, which Ayn encourages as it greatly speeds up the game. Among the group, he also has the distinction of being the only one who gets sad if he doesn't end up in a team, so Lars will sometimes give up his favorite spot to hang out with him.

The first time everyone played together, there were a few minor arguments about the ruleset since everyone grew up playing it differently. Very often, he's the one to suggest continuing the game until everyone has their own placements as he just enjoys the chaos.

His preferred color is also blue, hence why he often ends up paired with Cael. He rarely pairs up with you, mostly because he's the only person on the table capable of inciting a true competitive response from you—as opposed to a desire to merely keep up, like with Ayn or Cael.

  Ludo Board

Ludo circle boards are generally colored yellow, green, red, and blue. Each player is assigned a colour and four tokens of the same colour. The board is square-shaped with four color squares and 4 rectangle-shaped play areas in between these four colored squares. and in the center of the board, there is a small square consisting of 4 colored triangles called Home, and the moment all tokens of a particular player are navigated to this Home triangle the game is considered to be completed or won by the player.

Game Overview

Ludo can be played by two, three, or four players with or without partnerships. Before starting the Game Each player is assigned four tokens of a particular or chosen color which are parked inside the square of that player. Players can enter their tokens one per turn on a successful dice roll and navigate token’s through their respective squares, and proceed to race them clockwise around the board or the game track (except the path of squares not part of any other player's home column) to the finishing column marked as Home. The rolls of a single die control the swiftness of the tokens, and entry to the finishing square requires a precise roll from the player. The first to bring all their tokens to the finish or home triangle wins the game. The others often continue to play to determine the second, third, or fourth one to complete the game.

How it generally played

Each player rolls the die, the player who rolls the highest number gets to start the game. Players take turns generally in a clockwise direction.

For moving Tokens parked in the player’s yard to the play area, a player will need to roll a 6 in the dice. The player can draw a token from home every time he gets a 6 unless the home is empty or move a piece 6 times. . If the player has no tokens yet in play and rolls other than a 6, the turn passes to the next player.

Players must always move their token only according to rolled die value, Once a player has one or more tokens in play, he selects a token and moves it forwards along the track the number of squares indicated by the die. If an opponent's token is blocking your pathway, you will need to land on the same space as the token to capture it. You cannot move past that token. passes are not allowed; if no move is possible, the turn moves to the next player.

If the player cannot draw a token from home, rolling a 6 earns the player an additional or "bonus" roll in that turn. If the bonus roll results in a 6 again, the player earns again an additional bonus roll If the third roll is also a 6, the player may not move and the turn immediately passes to the next player.

If the advance of a token ends on a square occupied by an opponent's token, the opponent token is returned to its owner's yard. The returned token can be reentered into play only when the owner rolls a 6. If a piece lands on the same space as another piece of the same color, the pieces are doubled and form a "block" If the advance of a block ends on an opponent’s block, the latter is captured and returned to its owner’s yard, collectively.

A player's home column squares are always safe since no opponent may enter them. In the home column, you cannot jump over your token. Roll the exact number needed to get each token onto the home triangle.

Toffee Vs Moon Analysis

Important fact that some people forget when we talk about Toffee: he always has a plan, he knows a lot about his enemies, and almost everything that happens near him or in relation with him has been meticulously calculated do not ever play chess with him, guys.

First, do you think it's a coincidence that Moon ended up alone with Ludo? Toffee made Ludo believe the wand doesn’t work anymore, so he couldn’t help but to tell it, and make the others believe he is not a threat anymore. Or maybe the wand didn’t work anymore for any other reason like Toffee had enough of making magic for Ludo but the result is the same: Ludo looked pitiful and Moon stayed with him alone, moved.... and VULNERABLE. Remeber what happened?

And then, the battle begun. After he toke down Ownitraxus in a sigle movement.

Remember that Toffee knows about his enemies, so he would probably know that doing what he did to Moon to the others, he would gain power and the chancellor would be forced to waste his energy on reviving Hekapoo and the diamond guy whose name I can’t remember. After reviving them, Toffee just toke them down again. And absorb them again Toffee: yay, now I have the double of their power!.

Those two weren’t a match for him. What would the chancellor do to have a posibility? Revive Moon.

And that killed the goat-demon.

What did Toffee earn with this? Moon is alone against him. Why he wanted that? Because she is the one who Toffee wants revenge on and still we don’t know why he wants revenge, we have no clue, goddammit, Disney, give us something!

Then we got an epic fight. Fucking epic

Moon was forced to retreat, since he was beating her. She took with her all the member of the commission, but before she leaves: 

Traslation: “This is just starting, Moon. Now I’m going after your daughter”

And what does Moon do? Pick up her daughter, of course, so that way Star is close to her mother and safer. 

Well, done... is not that Toffee could just have to take something really important to Star and that is unguarded and use it to blackmail her and get his finger back... Is not like anything like that happened before and worked perfectly...

Where to Find the Best Food in Los Angeles

Los Angeles versus New York.  It’s a tale of two cities that will never go away. The caliber of the food, both west and east coast, is exceptional. I might even put LA a bit ahead of NYC- something about it is airier, more fun, somehow more personality fueled.  

The list of places I’ve eaten in Los Angeles is probably triple the length of this list. Pulling out my utmost favorites, from a group that heavily veers from very good to excellent, is tough. But here we are.  

Here’s my hit list of the best food in Los Angeles!

– Otium –

Located by: Downtown LA

Otium is all in, and you know it the moment you step foot inside. Grandiose and gorgeous, with huge glass windows, it’s the spacious restaurant attached to The Broad, Los Angeles’s contemporary art museum.

The open kitchen is the focal point, creating a social space with a finely curated menu heavy on ingredients like hamachi, crab, burrata, falafel and wild rice.  

– Gjusta Bakery –

Located by: Venice Beach

I prefer Gjusta to Gjelina.  And to GTA, the takeaway version of Gjelina. Gjusta is the third installment of the trifecta, a mix of cafe/bakery/deli, and has a cheerful Venice beach vibe I can never get enough of.

My personal favorite is the fish plate, beautiful and stocked with trout, mackerel or salmon, egg, pickled veggies, labneh and organic seeded rye bread.

– Jon & Vinny’s –

Located by: Fairfax

This restaurateur duo have quite a list of successful spots under their belt: Son of a Gun, Animal, the recently opened Kismet (below) and the aptly named Jon & Vinny’s itself.

Here the aesthetics lean towards modern, yet not uptight.

The food is taken seriously, though moods are kept light hearted.  The gem lettuce salad with chili and breadcrumbs is one for the books, and the LA Woman with local burrata, tomato, basil, sea salt and olive oil pizza is excellent.

– Angelini Alimentari –

Located in: Downtown LA & West Hollywood

Know that Angelini Alimentari is a cafe. It’s totally low key, completely casual and very unassuming. That right there might be part of the reason why you’ll be so impressed once the food comes out. There are two locations, the one on Beverly having a larger selection.

Order some eggs, pick a few toasts, and you’ll be happy for the rest of the day.  

– Guerilla Tacos –

Located: Many Locations

It might not be customary to put a food truck on a greatest hits list, but when the tacos that are churned out taste like Guerilla’s are, it easily earns its place. Get the sweet potato, fried corn nut and feta variety, and walk away happy.

– Night + Market Song –

Located by: Silve Lake

Silver Lake’s Thai restaurant Night + Market Song is colorful and casual, fun and creative. The food has a kick, but not so much that it detracts from the complexity and enjoyment of the dishes themselves.

Dive into a traditional Khao Soi, pick a spicy salad, like the papaya, peanut and lime version, and keep some sticky coconut rice on the side, just in case.  

– Sugarfish –

Located by: West Hollywood

I go back to Sugarfish over and over again whenever I’m in LA. The West Hollywood location is my favorite, but all have the same menu and same exceptional yet simple sushi.

Order a la carte or get the Bring Me omakase box giving you the value Sugarfish is so well known for.  

– Trois Familia –

Located by: Silver Lake

Chef Ludo is no joke. Trois Familia is his third LA establishment, bringing Silver Lake a casual breakfast joint with an interesting French/Mexican twist and a delightful surprise behind every dish.

From a beet tartare tostada to crispy hashbrown chilaquiles with eggs and cojita cheese, this destination dining spot is a perfect way to start out a sunny weekend day in LA.

– Bestia –

Located by: Arts District

Located in the somewhat off the beaten path Arts District, Bestia’s warehouse space fits in perfectly. It made a splash when it first opened in 2013, and it’s still very much alive and kicking.

The menu is massive, divided into traditional Italian sections of piatti piccoli, antipasti, pizze, paste, secondi and dolci.  

– Broken Spanish –

Located by: Downtown LA

Even though I dined at Broken Spanish for the first time on my own, I had some real, serious fun in there, which speaks volumes to the feel of the place, the friendliness and genuine enthusiasm of the waiter and obviously, to the immense quality of the modern Mexican food being served.

The tostada and the chile relleno were my personal highlights, washed down with mezcal cocktails and chocolate torte for dessert.

– Kismet –

Located by: Los Feliz

Kismet, which means destiny, or fate, felt like just that. I went here with four people.  We looked down at the Middle Eastern menu, looked back up at our waitress, and said “We’ll have everything but this.”

Our table crowded quickly, packed with fresh barbari bread, harissa olives, spiced cashews, marinated feta, grilled squid, smashed potatoes, and piles of tahini and labneh. 

We got the attention of the entire staff and kitchen with our order, and left ridiculously full and completely happy.

Located by: Wilshire

Located in a gorgeous high ceiling building that feels like it used to hold medieval banquets and balls, Republique is great for any time of the day.

Go for the bubbling shakshuka at breakfast, the lobster spaghetti with uni for dinner, or the huge slice of salted caramel chocolate cake at dessert.  

– Petit Trois –

Located by: Hollywood

This is a professional operation brought to you by the previously mentioned award winning Chef Ludo. There are only about 20 seats to be had, all of which are lined against two different bars spanning the length of the small space.

Petit Trois gave me the Parisian omelette of a lifetime, full of boursin pepper cheese and sprinkled with chives. Other menu standouts are the walnut, avocado and endive salad, the french onion soup, the double cheese burger and of course, those frites.

Located by: Koreatown

Here’s Looking at You is awesome. It’s fun, it’s flirty, it’s different, and though it’s a proper restaurant in the heart of Koreatown, it feels like a funky bar you’d be happy to spend your entire night in.

The shishito peppers lying in a bed of tahini sauce and the stracciatella cheese on bread with papitas were both particularly memorable.

Located by: Culver City

Oh my god Destroyer, you are one of a kind. Your dishes look like they are from the future but I want to be in present day with you now and forever.

The spice bread with creme fraiche and black currant could be the dish of the year.
