i usually stick to this occupation in most of my genshin selfships because i like it so much! i like specializing in clothes that are also meant to be used as light armor or be worn with armor so a lot of what i do is with special materials or working with an armorer to make pretty pieces that are also useful & able to protect its wearer

with diluc my part time seamstress gig is actually the whole reason i travel from liyue to mond in the first place! i get hired by the knights to do some work & become good friends with kaeya in the process who then introduces me to diluc shortly after he returns home from his fatui murder spree lol once i move to mond (& into the manor) diluc immediately starts getting me set up with a big room with a lot windows & new high end equipment so i can do it full time rather than adventuring on the side to make more mora. he’s also the person i most often make clothes for & use as my model when im trying something new 🤭 plus there’s always something more comforting about him wearing things i made for him when he’s out being the dark knight so i know he’s protected while also looking handsomely mysterious

in my selfship with kaveh looking for rare materials to use is how i end up running into & meeting him! 🥰 yaoyao & i are looking for them together when we run into some trouble & quite literally tumble into kaveh hehe. i offer to make him something in return for the trouble i caused him & he does refuse but while he’s in liyue we spend a lot of time together & i make him something anyways to take with him & maybe even protect him on the rest of his travels. we don’t see each other for quite some time after that, until he hears about a seamstress from liyue has moved to sumeru & he can’t help but hope that it’s me. before & after we’re together, when he’s day dreaming about us & doodling our dream home he always adds on a beautiful open room for us both to work in. he’s also quite skilled at helping me with my designs & is a gorgeous model for them too😍🩷

i do sometimes stray from the armor work of it & make my own wedding dresses or for my friends & loveeee making clothes for our kids 🥰🩷 mine n kavehs daughter have many matching outfits with us because of it hehe & mine n dilucs children often need me to patch them up since they’re almost always outside playing & doing all sorts of things that give their daddy a heart attack HAHA (as if im not patching up his clothes all the time too lol)

i think i might have an obsession with ribbons in my selfships 🎀

like my signature pink ribbon i wore for years that finds its way into dilucs hair one hot mond summer day when we’re together & though it never makes it back to me & is instead in the care of my beloved now, it’s not long before there’s another ribbon in my hair that’s easily recognizable as mine & the man who gifted it to me. delicate pink & made with the finest material, embroidered with delicate deep red flowers. a reminder of his ever lasting love & care

or sephiroth who sees me eyeing a set of pink & black ribbons in a high end midgar store before we’re dating & buys them for me as a gift when im not looking, thinking id look beautiful wearing them. id never spent that much money on anything & absolutely burst into tears when he gives them to me. but it’s not long before he realizes how much they mean to me, how much i cherish them as i wear them nearly everyday & start to wrap a pink one around his bicep before he leaves on long missions. it always comes back safely tied around masamune

or or or!! the pale pink ribbon zayne gifts me when we’re children. it was for my birthday - the one before he moved away. he’d spent his allowance on it, blushed when he asked his mom to drive him to the store & when she asked if it was for me, took his time looking between the different materials & colors until he found one he thought was perfectly luna. he hadn’t expected me to keep it all those years, let alone still wear it but when we see each other for the first time in so many years, while im taking my grandma to an appointment at the hospital not knowing he’d be there, he sees me wearing it & wonders if ive thought of him all these years too

diluc & i have only known each other as adults, we met shortly after he returned to mond & i was visiting from liyue for work as a seamstress, making custom outfits/armor for some knights when kaeya took me to the tavern after work one day & the handsome bar tender caught my eye🥰

im not from any kind of nobility or a prestigious family in liyue, it’s usually just me anyway - not being close or in contact with the few remaining members of my family that there are

im a pink girl through & through! though diluc is quite convinced i could pull off any color but especially red 🤭

as usual with his birthday we keep it rather lowkey, though over our years together ive convinced him to at least take the day off of work! the kids insist on us all making breakfast for diluc (though they hardly get up early enough for breakfast in bed for him lol) & then we get to just spend the day together, the kids trying to beat him in chess or make him a yummy drink, going on a picnic, giving diluc their gifts, all of us taking a nap in our bed 🥰 kaeya always comes over for dinner & cake & the manor is just so lively & warm & the night usually ends with another special gift for him just from me & just for his eyes hehehe🤭🩷

this year my actual gift to him was a little story book i wrote, my own little retelling of stories the kids have told us of them going on adventures with me n diluc & their siblings 🥺🩷 wahhh happy birthday to my baby❤️🥺😭

oh my goodness🥺🥺🥺❤️ this question 😭😭😭❤️ our love was a slow build up, even if a quiet part of us felt it from the moment we met, but over the years of our friendship (or forever long courtship if you ask kaeya hahaha) there was no denying it was soul stirring love and we couldn't be without each other

he's loves the comfort of my quiet presence but it was something else entirely when i opened up around him. i'm definitely an introvert that can be super extroverted when i'm comfortable and seeing me talk with my whole body or laugh before i can even finish telling a story or get all starry eyed talking about things i love and hardly taking a breath in between my words or singing terribly (my words, not his) but doing it anyways because i love it, it always makes him fall more in love with me🥺

diluc has also told me more than once he found my kind and loving nature to be so admirable and all ways i show it to be adorable and sweet. one of his favorite being what he caught on quickly to, that if i care about someone, i want to feed them- cook them a meal, bring them their favorite treat on a hard day, always asking if they've eaten for the day, carrying snacks in my bag in case anyone needs it. he ate very many treats and meals prepared by me even before we were offically together haha

really he loves to see me smile, no matter if it's behind a book as a read or if its in passing to another person or because i liked the way the sun felt on my skin and just had to express it or because he was the one to cause it

even if it might have taken time for us to get here and for him to feel more and more comfortable with it, he loves my touch. always soft and genlte and thoughtful and even before he expierenced it for himself, he saw it with the way i was with others too like when i'd brush klees hair from her eyes or squeeze kaeyas arm in encourgement without any words, a welcoming hug to my friends with a gentle squeeze that says how much i missed them but he gets even more than that for himself once we’re at that point heh🥰❤️
