TASK 007: Style

AALIYAH ROSE- WARDROBE

Aaliyah's wardrobe is pretty simple: she looks like 90s grunge. Most of her jeans have holes in them, most of her tops are sleeveless or flannel, and most of her shoes are boots. Her shorts are cut-offs, and she prefers the color black over anything else. Once in a blue moon, she might dress up for work, pairing a nice button down with a pair of nice slacks, and, if she's going out on the town, she might wear a slinky dress. More often than not, Aaliyah forgets to dress for the season, forgetting to layer up in the winter. Interestingly, there's a certain amount of love that's taken into her wardrobe; the distressed pieces are still well-maintained, likely being years old, and the material in her more expensive articles of clothing are of a high quality (several of her dress clothes are fine silk). It's clear that a lot of her clothes is to give off a very specific vibe: Don't Fuck With Me.

Aiyla Caria Baysal - style aesthetic

In a word, Aiyla's style is soft. She wears soft, silky fabrics, denim and cotton, and as little of it as possible. Aiyla is proud of her wings and will have them out at any possible time. She dislikes hiding them, so she prioritizes fashion that allows for an open/visible back. She tailors any of her clothing without visible backs to have hidden wing access so she can always have access to them. Aiyla likes to keep clothes until they fall apart. Over the years, she has perfected the capsule wardrobe for her needs and doesn't own a large variety of clothes. Perhaps it is a holdover from her life on the move. You will never catch her in stiff fabrics or unnatural fibers! Brand means little to nothing to her; she prefers sustainability and comfort over name recognition. Once an item of clothing is no longer wearable, Aiyla recycles it for a variety of different uses.

Daphne Sophia Bishop - style aesthetic

Daphne's style has been somewhat of a mix of all the things and people she has ever loved. While she tends to stir more towards the boho rock start of the seventies aesthetic, she has been prone to abandoning all her previous ideas and styles for something else whenever her heart feels the whim. However, style home has always been a boho whimsy goth darling in brands such as The Row, Cucinellia, Bottega, Veneta, and with a special love for Piana. However, if asked, she'd say she's not sure where she got most of her clothes. Some were gifts, and she picked up others here and there while swapping clothes with her closest friends.

Aurelio Skye Carrington - style aesthetic

Skye is a New Yorker at heart, and in a lot of ways, he still dresses the part. He loves luxury clothes and accessories and spends a great deal of money to look like he just rolled out of bed that hot. The devil is in the details, and small hints of personality can be seen in his more put-together looks. However, the fewer clothes he has to wear, the better, and he is the first to break out the rolled sleeves and shorty shorts when the weather gets just the smallest bit warm.

Briar-Rose Andromeda Reed style aesthetic -

Briar tends to dress in a put-together, polished way. She thrifts most of her clothes and loves finding designers for a fraction of the price. She'd rather spend more on a good tailor than buy things brand new. She is quite selective about her jewelry, and while she is almost always wearing something, it's a guarantee that every piece she wears holds some sentimental value. While she is not afraid to show skin, and plenty of it, Briar, on most days, is less likely to show a ton of skin. When at dance rehearsal for the cabaret, she leans towards shorts, dance tops, and sneakers.

TASK 007: STYLE

For this prompt, we figured a fun way for you all to delve deeper into developing your character's is to show their style! Style is deeply personal and different to each character. We want you to create a lookbook of clothes your muse wears. This prompt is not super in depth so we ask that you be as creative as possible and include examples. You are welcome to make edits/manips/write out descriptions/or etc. Feel free to show your muses style and give us a deeper look into who they are! If you need any help we have templates posted in the discord and canva has tons of templates! Just have fun with it! Also, if you need some examples here are a few from admin Kourt 1, 2, 3.

a closet full of almost exclusively thrifted finds and hand me downs from his elderly landlord, Julian’s style is mostly filled with beat up old sneakers, paint stained denims, graphic tees, oversized jackets and button downs, and some classic outerwear. throw on some beaded friendship bracelets on one wrist, a casio calculator watch on the other, and a bandanna around the neck, and you’ve got “the chandler” — a clash of 90’s dad and indie painter boy vibes.
