here are my gifts for @digitallyfanged ! I'm your little secret santa (ФωФ) [I wanted to make the backgrounds opposite, one is extravagant and colorful while the other seems like an ephemeral and ignored silence so maybe the characters would stand out]

After the heist

Jigen walked into the living room of the safe house they were in, feeling tired. They had just completed a big heist the previous night, successfully entering the Paris museum and taking the rare jewels the museum was displaying from Egypt.

It was a long chase to get away from Pops and Interpol, but thanks to his trusty magnum and Goemon's zantetsuken, along with Lupin driving the fiat, they were able to get away.

Now they were just chilling at the hideout until things calmed down. Goemon was off in the forest, training saying he wanted to train his mind. Now it was just him and Lupin.

Jigen sat down on the sofa, taking a cigarette out and lightning it up, it felt peaceful that morning. No Fujiko so he didn't have to worry about her flirting with Lupin and him acting like a lovesick puppy around her.

Suddenly he heard a bedroom door slam open, and the tap taping of feet on the soft wood floor, including the smell of alcohol.

"Hey Jigen" a drunk Lupin said drunkly. He was wearing a white t shirt with a red stripe in the middle. His face was pale definitely from the hangover he had from drinking last night.

Lupin had insisted on a small party to celebrate their success, but Jigen and Goemon wanted to just relax that night. Lupin gave a small "Fine, I'll just celebrate myself!" And had partied pretty late.

This was definitely the result of that. He looked pretty hangover. And whenever he was hungover, he was pretty hyper more than normal.

Jigen signed, but gave a small smile. Lupin could be pretty annoying but he couldn't imagine life without him. He brought the best out of everyone in the Lupin gang.

Including him. "I told you not to party so hard" Jigen sighed.

Lupin gave a glare, that reminded Jigen of a teenager not getting what they wanted." But it was the perfect night for it. You guys are such party poppers!" He grumbled, stumbling around the living room, finally reaching the recliner chair by the TV, and falling backwards into it.

Jigen gave a small laugh." Yeah, and look where you are now." Lupin gave a small pout in protest. Jigen took out another cigar from his pack and lit it and reached his arm out for Lupin to take it.

Lupin took it, and leaned back into the chair more. "Still that was one of our best heists yet. Pops really wanted to catch us, with the amount of cars he had chasing us" he stated, twisting the cigar between his fingers.

Jigen gave a grunt agreement. He liked moments like this, after every heist they did, both good and bad. The banter and laughs they had were fun.
