How would it go if their S/O tried to get them to play a board game? But it’s one of the ones with really nice artwork and complex rules that need some strategy to do good (kinda like dead of winter or everdell, if you’ve ever seen them)

Sir: any board game that involves money will have him wiping the floor with every one. Something about money, even fake, brings out the evil genius in sir. If he wasn’t a prostitute, he would’ve made an amazing business man.

Weasel: he likes to sneakily try to make up rules to trip every one up, even if he’s never played the game himself. For the longest time the brothel thought that you could multiply +4s in uno instead of adding them if they were the same color because of weasel.

Flambé: he’s pretty quick on the uptake when it comes to figuring out rules in board games, but once he decides on a strategy, he’s terribly predictable. Flambés first strategy will always be his last. If questioned he just shrugs, why ruin something that works? Flambe it never works, you lost every game

Pesto: he’ll flip the board if he’s ganged up on in these board games lol. And despite knowing this the rest of the brothel WILL gang up on him. You have been warned

Butler: he loves games that you can partner with someone in, and he always picks sir if he can. Even over his own SO. Sorry but sir will bring butler to victory. It’s just facts

Gold: he’s terrible at board games and knows it, so his goal is to always try and get pesto mad enough to flip the board. Gold is better left as the “cheerleader” lol

Cider: he takes a while to figure out how the game works. He’s not dumb, but there’s so many rules! What’s up with all these trick questions. Cider is a grumpy mister when learning the game, but quickly grows to love it once he figures it out

Barley: he doesn’t even try. Especially if it’s playing with anyone in his family. They drag board games out too long for barleys taste. He much prefers simple card games.

Roost: sorry but his brain is full of feathers. Roost is many things, but a strategist he is not. He’ll try for SO to learn, but he’ll never be good at the games.

Harpy: she beats SO her first game. For EVERY SINGLE GAME. There’s not a game on earth that SO can show harpy and not have her win the first round somehow. At this point SO is suspecting witchcraft.

You can find my Encoded AU on Fanfiction or AO3 ---- OMG, I freaking LOVE this one! It turned out so amazing and the colors were fun to work with. So many neutrals with accents and as always, the gold trim in their outfits is just way too much fun for me to work with. It took all my will to not give Jewel a black coat because normally that would be what she would wear but there was too much black on black so I went with an inverted color scheme from normal. Kept purple because Goldie was the one who picked out the jacket. He's still not thrilled she won't stray from the jeans, not even to slacks or at least something that accents her hips more, but he's working on it. One of these days he will get her into something more sexy and less casual. I love the shading, I love the line art... just... ugh! Why is LustGold my freaking muse, damn it? Not even my own AU, but damn it, I just love these characters, they make me wanna do more and they always turn out the best. ---- So, basically, the scene is when Jewel gets to go back to LustGold after a bit of time catching up with her other friends. She likes to visit them casually, kind of dropping by. She always brings gifts, which she's alluding to in the image. That "wait a moment" kind of deal, teasing them. Since they don't know any other humans, she likes to bring them stuff they wouldn't normally be able to get. Goldie, being a nerd and a rock collector, gets a lot of stuff made of the crystals her soul produces, especially in purple and blue. She's even made him a light-up Batman statue out of the stuff, since he's a bit of a nerd like her. Just a bunch of friends hanging out when they all have a moment. First off it’s lustswapfell!

Sir (lustfellswap sans)

Sir is a skeleton monster standing at 5’4 and is aged 52 years old. He’s got a beautiful purple magic and slightly plush ecto

Sir is the owner of a host club/brothel under the disguise of a restaurant. This may be illegal in ebott, but police turn a blind eye cause of how helpful he’s been in passing on information about traffickers and drug rings. Plus is “employees” are well paid, have benefits, and are all of legal age.

Sir is a flamboyant, loud, boisterous and confident monster. He loves throwing his weight and name around and is generous with his money around those he loves. He���s quite the party monster, and even the prudes can’t help but like him and his cheerful personality. Don’t let that fool you though, he’s a brilliant business monster. Also he’s not above fighting dirty to get what he wants.

His magic weapon is a knuckle guard covered in tiny needle like spikes designed for piercing. It plays right along with his special ability. He has one for each hand

Sirs special ability is producing a numbing poison from his fingertips. It works very fast and people can find themselves unable to move or feel their limbs after seconds. However it also wears off quick as well.

Hobbies: calligraphy, dancing, trying new foods, debate, boxing, hosting

Things he loves: wax seal stamps, the color crimson, dark red roses, feather pens, sparring matches, human fighting styles, fine China sets

Weasel (Lustswapfell papyrus)

Weasel is a skeleton monster standing at 6’2 and is aged 31 years old. He has beautiful purple magic and a trim but curvy ecto

He is one of the “waiters” at the brothel. He works as a host bringing people in and matching them with the “employees”. He also occasionally takes his own clients if they pay well enough

Like his nickname suggests, weasel is a mischievous and chaotic character. He loves causing problems through spreading rumors and sharing secrets. He’s not to be trusted by acquaintances but to close friends he’s a useful ally. Weasel can come across as childish and a bit airheaded. He’s easily distracted by the next shiny thing, but when focused, is amazingly talented at whatever he does.

His magic weapon is a baseball bat like club with two sharpened stones on each side of the end he swings. He did the bare minimum making it

His special ability is being able to briefly shot off one aspect of taste of a person for an hour with a kiss. So say if he kissed you, you might not be able to taste salt or sweetness for an hour lol

His hobbies are: gossiping of course, soap operas and reality tv shows, fancy card tricks, caring for his pet rats, making sun catchers with scrap glass

Things he loves: the color orange, fancy rats, napoleon ice cream, daisies, sea glass and vintage glass, those creepy porcelain dolls (he names them after superheroes). Superhero comic books

Butler (lustgold sans)

Butler is a skeleton monster standing at 5’5 and aged 53 year old. He has a soft rose gold magic and a petite but muscular and fit ecto

Butler was a hired hitman in the underground, but now works as the main bodyguard at sirs brothel. He is also the secret behind all of sirs knowledge about the dark places of ebott

Butler is a stoic, polite and gentle monster. He’s very patient and takes a lot to anger or even annoy. Some say he has the patience of a saint. However when crossed, his temper is legendary. He isn’t one for wasted talk and only speaks when he has something important to say. So when he does talk, every one listens. And yes, he’s quite sassy when he wants to be.

His magic weapon is literally a one handed sniping rifle. He’s got amazing aim, bested only by snipe. And the constricted gun is absolutely gorgeous with floral patterning on the frame

His special ability is his hands being able to stick to walls. He pulls himself up that way with a crawling motion. It’s given him nicely toned shoulders

Hobbies: guns of course, making floral arrangements, rock concerts, parkour, hiking and trail walks, wine tasting

Things he loves: fine wines and cheesecake, vintage guns, punk rock, lavender flowers, spring fashion, floral patterns

Gold (lustgold paps)

Gold is a skeleton monster standing at 6’1 and aged 29. He has a very petite and soft looking ecto as well as an androgynous soft voice. He doesn’t care what people call him. (But is usually described as male by humans cause of being a skeleton)

Gold is a dab hand at numbers and helps sit with the budget of the brothel. He also decorates the desserts and is very passionate about how the food is presented. He takes clients pretty often as well if his other two duties aren’t busy that evening

Gold has two modes: passionate, chatty, bright and flirtatious, or he’s awkward, stuttery and clumsy. No in between. Gold is confident when he knows what to expect. His “work personality” is that of the typical lust monster, flirty and social. When he’s being open or honest though, he shows off his awkward and insecure softy side. He’s quite cute either way

His magic weapon is a simple switchblade. It’s lightweight and easy to use, perfect for a quick response

His special ability is being able to see clearly under water. However he doesn’t know this as he’s never been swimming before, nor does he know how.

Hobbies: gothic and alternative fashion. Making collars, gloves, and other smaller accessories. Making art with food: food arrangements and decorating. Fruit carving

Flambé (lustred sans)

Flambé is a skeleton monster aged 45 years old and standing at 5’3. He has a flame colored magic and ecto. He’s trim with a little bit of muscle

Flambé is an entertainer at the brothel. He dances, serves food, and entertains tables waiting for the other “employees”. He also takes clients if they pay well enough, however he has high standards

Flambé is a real spitfire! He’s sassy, a bit aggressive and very spicy in his language and flirting lol. He knows his worth and his self love can come across as self absorbed to those who don’t know him well. He’s very introverted despite the confidence, and needs time each day to unwind on his own

His magic weapon is a large scythe. The sucker is nearly twice his own height. Every one is surprised at the skill he swings it with

His special ability is being able to blow smoke out of his mouth without a flame or cigarette. He likes to blow smoke rings to impress people with

Hobbies: collecting perfumes, bubble baths, pole dancing, going to the spa, nail art

Things he loves: bath salts, dried herbs, perfume, the color red, loud tinkling jewelry, glossy finish nail polishes, poppies, greek salad, cucumber slices

Pesto (lustred papyrus)

Pesto is a skeleton monster standing at 6’5 and aged 39. He has a pinkish red magic and a slightly chubby ecto. His face is very scarred from an old attack and is missing two teeth that can’t be replaced cause of the cracks

The brothel actually does serve food. And pesto is the head chef. His food is amazing. He serves a Mediterranean style menu with mostly chicken and seafood as the proteins. He even got his third star last year. Sir and flambé have tried convincing him to leave and start his own restaurant cause of his skill, but pesto loves his little makeshift family and won’t be moved. He never takes clients

Pesto is quiet and reserved. He used to be a confident monster like his brother, but after the attack that scarred his face, he’s “lost” his good looks and self esteem. He’s rather sensitive and hides it behind an aloof and disinterested mask. He’s intensely loyal to his found family and acts as the moral compass, scolding them when they go too far.

His magic weapon is a whip with sharp jagged pieces on the end. It hurts like a b*tch but doesn’t actually do that much damage

His special ability is a sensitivity to how level the ground is. He also gets an early warning for earthquakes. He’s great to have around if you’re putting up shelves. He’ll keep them perfectly straight

Hobbies: cooking of course. He loves making beautiful colorful salads and pizzas, thrift shopping, his vegetable garden, the shooting range

Things he loves: pesto of course, the color powder blue, forget me nots, classic margarita pizza, heirloom lettuce varieties, vintage pins, hand pistols

Side characters:

Cupid: Lustswapfell Asgore, one of the royals. A very picky finicky monster, he’s a pain to work with but good at his job at least. He deals with ebotts propaganda, namely what websites are allowed in ebotts news stations

Valentine: Lustswapfell toriel. Equally as snobby as Cupid, she’s much more of a socialite and goes from district to district of ebott checking in on the smaller government teams

Tiras: lustgold Asgore. He’s a quieter royal who doesn’t show face very often. He mainly keeps the palace in working order as he doesn’t have much experience ruling despite taking the vow in the underground after being soulbonded to Rhea

Rhea: lustgold toriel, a shrewd business monster, she handles the exports of ebott and how much they sell to other countries for

Desire: lustred toriel, a stern but devoted royal. She leads the war against human and monster trafficking in ebott.

Devotion: lustred Asgore. A gentle and aloof royal, because of his AUs past fertility troubles, he’s very interested in the future of ebott. He handles welfare for struggling families as well as fertility treatment regulations and requirements.

Sir: sometimes you have to wonder how he finds the energy to “perform” at work, and still be so eager to pay you attention when he gets home. But there’s no time to think about that right now. Not when you gotta make sure sir doesn’t accidentally rip the socks as he takes them off ;)

Weasel: before y’all start getting busy, he has to laugh cause out of all his shirts you could’ve picked, it had to be the fugly scary clown graphic one. Paired with the lacy light purple thigh highs no less. Weasel loves you so much

Flambé: he’s more leg than torso, and being a smaller guy means his shirts are pretty little as well. So the shirt doesn’t quite leave much to the imagination~ just like Flambe like it~ you spoil him too much

Pesto: he loves seeing you wear his shirt but he loves seeing your excitement at him coming home more. Pesto is all about those happy facial expressions, and after such a greeting hes plenty motivated to show some love back~

Butler: he doesn’t care for thigh highs normally, gold wears them too much so butler associates the socks with his brother. But seeing you in his shirt makes him feel warm and fuzzy inside. You’ll get many nuzzles (and more if you play your cards right)

Coffee: pottery painting so he can flex on SO how much better his art is, so he can focus on his plate in case the conversation isn’t flowing lol

Lush: oh he saw this coming a mile away. Lush knows the type. When the acquaintance slips the pills in SOs drink, lush sees red. He takes the drink and forces acquaintance to drink it themselves. Of course they’re all buzzed now and lush is being talked down by SO to not do anything further. And good luck if they try to sue, they’re not winning against this guy

Pepper: he never leaves a drink unattended. Pepper himself has almost been roofied several times in his life. So He knows all the signs. Acquaintance won’t even have a chance to get near SOs drink cause pepper is holding onto it. Not today mothertrucker!

Sir: when acquaintance isn’t looking, he casually swaps the drinks. They’ve drunk their own roofie pill. Sir gleefully watches them face the consequences of their own actions while SO sips their drink blissfully unaware. (Then he has butler rough them up later)

Weasel: he’s loud and makes a big stink about seeing acquaintance slip something in SOs drink. He’s yelling, and when they deny it, weasel basically dares them to drink it themself then! Go on!! If it’s nothing it won’t hurt you!!!

Butler: yea he’s not entertaining this at all. He just quietly tells SO what he saw, has them wait with sir and he puts acquaintance in a chokehold and drags them out. SO never sees them again.

Gold: he did notice acquaintance acting suspicious near SOs drunk but didn’t actually see them out anything in. Gold can’t ignore that growing feeling of anxiety in his stomach though. So before SO can take a sip, he begs for a sip first for himself. He spits it out immediately and rushes to get butler. Gold does know what the main potions and drugs taste like. Butler had him test each so he’d never get caught unaware. For once gold is grateful

Flambé: like weasel, he’s making a huge scene over the drink, yelling and screaming at acquaintance. Unlike weasel, he won’t let anyone touch the drink. He’s saving it for evidence for when he gets their *ss arrested.

Pesto: he just pours the drink on acquaintances head then brawls with them. No hesitation. Words are wasted on this person

Out of all his friends, the one who hikes with butler the most is sir. Gold straight up refuses to go though cause butler gets bossy with him and turns it into a stamina training lesson.

Butler doesn’t wear eyeshadow. The slight golden pigment around his eyes is natural! He also has golden fingertips and ribs. It’s considered the skeleton version of birthmarks

He likes ties, but only if they have a fun pattern on them. Butler never wears solid color ties. Too boring

The reason he chose goth/alternative fashion as his preferred style is because he thinks the irony of a gothic skeleton is funny. He dressed pretty brightly when he was underground

Gold is a bit too forgiving at times, which is half the reason why butler is so protective of him. Gold never stands up for himself in toxic relationships

Sir: out of the whole brothel, he’d actually do the best with an ace partner. Sir isn’t quitting his job of course, and he can get out his “energy” there. Sex is a fun pastime for him, but romance is for emotional closeness. He doesn’t need to get down and dirty for that. It’s an easy transition for him

Weasel: he struggles with the concept at first, worried he makes his SO uncomfortable with how needy he can be. But at their constant reassurances he eventually settles down. Sir: besides the “restaurant”, he’s found pretty often at dance clubs, and he hangs out with charm a lot as well! There’s also this old stationary shop owned by a tiny ancient Chinese woman. He’s super loyal to it and only gets his supplies from her.

Weasel: honestly anywhere on the streets has a small chance for him if he’s out. Weasel likes to wander. He joins pesto a lot in thrift shopping as well and can be seen in comic stores. He collects all the zoo crew, aqua man and old Indiana jones stuff

Butler: hiking! You can spot him on the trails on his days off! Occasionally he drags one of the restaurant family with him. He also frequents a gym in ebott city for weight training

Gold: he loves to shop with pesto as well and is usually seen with him. The two are practically joined at the hip most days. Also fabric stores and craft stores for his hobby. And you’ll always find gold at food festivals. He’s a major foodie and tries everything at least once

Flambé: he goes with butler to the gym fairly often, and he’s also seen at local jewelry shops. He prefers his trinkets hand made. He doesn’t like others copying his style. And the local spa of course

Pesto: the only time he leaves his home on his days off is to either pop by the “restaurant” to either experiment with some cooking, or he bundles up and covers his face to thrift shop. And only if someone goes with him. Pesto is quite the homebody otherwise
