Samen met Jisse een gitaarduo opgenomen tijdens gitaarles in Arnhem. Van de Engelse Luitist en componist John Johnson spelen wij de 'The Flatt Pavin'. Deze versie komt uit The Renaissance Guitar van Fredrick Noad die het heeft overgenomen uit een versie van Jane Pickering's lutebook. Johnson was o.a. luitist aan the Royal Chapel van 1581 tot aan zijn dood in 1595. Vaak worden luitstukken bewerkt voor de hedendaagse moderne gitaar, weliswaar met de capo in 2e positie om de toonhoogte en klankkleur van een luit enigszins na te bootsen.

Here's the lutebook by Vincenzo Capirola, 1478 - 1548.

In the preface of this book, it's noted how the drawings were meant to prevent the loss of the book in case it would for some reasons end in hands of people who don't know how to read a lute tablature, due to the beauty of the drawings. Down here I report the preface, in Italian, where this is reported.

"Considerando io Vidal che molte divine operete per ignorantia deli possessori si sono perdute, et desiderando che questo libro quasi divino per me scritto perpetuamente si conservase, ho volesto di così nobil pictura ornarlo, acio che venendo ale mano di alchuno che manchasse di tal cognizione, per la bellezza di la pictura lo conservasse"
