yes!!!! i think it also has to do with her self-worth as a person (…and trauma but i’m not gonna get into that). we see that when she confronts joel about what happened at the hospital she wants her life, her existence, to be of use. she wants to have a purpose. and hell if that purpose is fucking her partner until SHE is satisfied then so be it

I had to resort to tinder to secure my masc gf. It’s hard for us shy femmes out here cause so many people assume we aren’t gay!! And mascs are scared to flirt w femmes so often because they’re afraid that they’ll come across as predatory if she does wind up being straight. i don’t really use a method; i just lay down, say affirmations, and visualize! it’s what works for me

you’re writing makes me so motivated to shift! i literally just read through all your shifting post. i can’t shift to tlou, zombies scare the living shit out of me 😭

i have a fame dr where both me and ellie are both musicians kinda like indie singers. i kinda have the same upbringing as clairo. me and ellie meet at a label party and we become friends instantly and like we have a crush on each other but never acted on it. friend to lovers 😋

no because i honestly don’t know what i’m thinking shifting to tlou because i just know it’s gonna be scarier than i can even imagine. however THAT is why i intend for my first week there to be on the farm and just have a taste of domestic life with ellie. no scary stuff.

but omg indie friends to lovers !!! THATS SO CUTE I LOVE :3 keep me updated on that 🙏

i’ve only minishifted! and my main point of advice is to not rush things, but persevere through all of the stagnant moments. oh! and meditate!!! i swear it helps so much

im currently trying to shift there and I didn't knew about the letter thing so ofc I'm gonna start doing it but there's something I didn't understand.. do you ask ellie things in the letter? or did i misunderstood...

you’re not the only one dw ! i had an anon ask to hear more about it, so im going to link this post when i answer them :)

as for the letter thing…boy do i have a few stories to tell you. first, though, we’ll start w/ an explanation.

basically, you write to a person in your dr. the letter doesn’t have to be long, but you need to talk to them as if you’re already in the reality. i ‘act’ as if i’m just on a trip or out doing something. the most important thing that you have to do to get results is, after you’ve said what you’ve wanted to say, ask for something in return. examples include strawberry mochi, a mushroom, or a penny. BUT these items/things have to be things that you don’t normally see. and when they are ‘delivered,’ they don’t necessarily have to be material, they can be a picture or simply just mentioned. afterward you’ve signed off on the letter, you can rip it up, burn it (SAFELY), or simply forget about it. the idea is to not think about it. let it go. most importantly, HAVE FAITH THAT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU ASKED FOR !

i’ll provide some of my own experiences below :) please keep in mind, though, that i have done this before my tlou dr. i have plenty of other desired realities that i do this with.

— the first time i wrote a letter to ellie i asked for a snake. it was simple and i never saw them in my every day life. WELL fast forward like a day, when i’m in the cafeteria at my high school, and my friends are playing this game on their phones. i was busy talking to my other friend, so i wasn’t really paying attention. at least that was until they were deciding which colored snake avatar they wanted to be. as they decided, my head literally whipped in their direction to see what they were looking at, and, low and behold, there were two blue and red snakes on the screens. i was SUPER excited, and i kid you not after that i saw snakes EVERYWHERE.

— okay, this story occurred like last month. after careful consideration, i decided that from now on, i would work on a theme. everything that i would ask for would be in correlation to tlou/ellie. so, i asked her for a dinosaur. no specificities, just a plain old dino. babe…she sent me SO. MANY. DINOSAURS🧍‍♀️it was constantly one after the other, and when i went to a local craft store to buy yarn the same day, THERE WERE A SHIT TON OF DINOSAUR FIGURINES 😭😭

— this one is super short and simple, but i asked for a space ship (for obvious reasons hehe). this one also occurred at my school, but an organization was hosting a small booth and spreading awareness on mental health in teens and young adults. they were handing out pins and when they gave one to me IT HAD A SPACE SHIP ON IT :,)

— i saved the best for last ✋ THIS ONE MAKES ME SMILE CAUSE IT HAPPENED LIKE LAST WEEK BUT i was writing to ellie and telling her to listen to some lana del rey songs that make me think of her. in return i asked for a guitar. after i had put my journal away, and i put in airpods to listen to music, i clicked shuffle on my ‘ellie’ playlist. THE SONG THAT PLAYED WAS DARK RED BY STEVE LACY !! AND, IF YOURE NOT AWARE, THE COVER HAS A GUITAR IN IT 😫 i literally couldn’t stop smiling, and now every time i hear that song my mind instantly goes to ellie. it’s like she sent me a song in return for sending her some :)

go to your settings, general, and then filtering! you can block any tags you don’t wanna see :)
