The Erebus is as expansive as it is functional, providing housing for over a thousand passengers and five-hundred crew members. [ Biodome ]

Located at the center of the ship, the Biodome serves as a hub of scientific activity and public relaxation. The upper levels are primarily tended to by biologists and botanists, with a large section of the Biodome reserved strictly for the growing of produce and the bioengineering of species to be integrated on CERES. The public area of the Biodome is located on the main floor and exhibits an expansive and meandering botanical garden, complete with new and long extinct plantlife preening beneath synthetic sunlight. Here, the Erebus passengers are offered a glimpse of Eden: life on Earth before the crash, an ideal future on Ceres.

[ DRIFT ]

DRIFT has long been a popular pastime on Earth, providing paying customers with limitless virtual realities. Drifters can interact with one another, being placed in something of a lucid dream state. Due to the vast energy requirements of the operations of DRIFT aboard the Erebus,  virtual choices are limited to a selection of daily alternate realities. [ ELYSIUM ]

The casino is a blur of light and sound, providing passengers with a way to pass their time aboard the Erebus at a price. Consistently populated by members of the Panocorps, the CTF is an all-inclusive gym that offers planet preparatory classes on a rotating schedule. The CTF is expansive, offering everything from weight training, virtual running tracks, and even an Olympic sized swimming pool. Most notably, the CTF is remarkable for its offering of survival courses meant to prep settlers for life outside of the megacities that largely populate Earth.

[ First Class Suites ]

The first class suites are by far the most expansive on the Erebus. Floorplans vary depending on the package purchased, but include spacious bedrooms, lounge areas,  private bathrooms, ample storage, and broad glass windows programmed to present an image of whatever the tenant desires. Such amenities come at a cost: occupants of the first class suites universally paid a hefty sum to leave Earth behind and are only accustomed to having the best. The lack of communal living arrangements within the first class suites ensures that these passengers are kept apart from the rest—and perhaps they prefer it that way.

First Class dining options are varied, from a low-key cafeteria-style dining lodge for a quick bite to eat, to full-service restaurants.

[ Second Class Apartments ]

The second class apartments were designed with families in mind, with space-conscious sleeping pods centered around communal living areas with private storage compartments and a bathroom per unit. While not necessarily luxurious, the extra privacy and comfort within the second class apartments comes at a more manageable sum for those leaving Earth in family units.

The crew dormitories are wide-ranging, from single occupancy rooms for command center officers, to shared living spaces similar to second-class apartments for midranking members, to pods for the lowest ranking crewmen. Crewmembers may opt to purchase a suite or apartment at a discounted rate. Like the pod halls, all dormitory areas on the Erebus have communal washrooms and recreation rooms.

The crew dormitories span a wide range. Command center officers occupy single occupancy rooms, while mid-ranking crew have pods arranged around communal living areas, much like the second class passenger apartments. The lowest ranking crew have accommodations very similar to third class passengers: pods, lockers, and communal bathrooms shared by everyone bunking in a given hall. Crewmembers with young children will be issued special living accommodations similar to the second class apartments.

[ Medical Bay ]

Located by the command center, a state of the art medical bay provides comprehensive health services to all passengers and crew. Generouslystaffed and equipped, the medical bay includes doctors, surgeons, and specialists meant to manCERES VII’s first hospital. Nurses make routine rounds daily to check passenger vitals throughout the ship to ensure the population is healthy and to monitor any infectious diseases that may crop up during travel. ARCo. also  invested in an extensive psychiatric staff for therapeutic and research purposes.

[ Command Center ]

The command center is a constant flurry of activity, acting as the cerebral center of the ship. Staffed by the Erebus’ top-ranking officers, the command center is responsible for navigation and ensuring that the Erebus’ maiden voyage is completed without incident.

[ Laboratories ]

Located in the depths of the ship, away from the prying eye of civilian passengers, the labs are designated either “hot” or “cold.”. In the former, scientists actively conduct research on various subjects of ARCo. interest, including joint efforts with the medbay staff toward ongoing studies on the effects of interspace travel. There are also hot labs dedicated to the filtering algae integral to the production of clean air and water for the ship. The cold labs, meanwhile, are primarily stocked with biological samples from Earth, maintained and monitored by scientists preparing to introduce these frozen species to CERES VII.

Sirens sounded and the red light of the ship’s warning systems flashed as “full system failure” blared on the PA system. The bridge had been filled with officers but when they realized that this was the end of the First Order, they fled and filled every escape pod, in hopes they would escape with their lives. 

Even Kylo had fled, looking for a quick escape. He and the Jedi Rey, who had convinced Kylo to rejoin the light, took his TIE-fighter and rejoined the Resistance ships. Phasma had been killed. 

The only remaining life on the Finalizer was General Armitage Hux and you, his right-hand admiral and the love of his life. 

“What do we do, Armitage?” 

He looked out the windows of the Bridge Tower and then down to you. He saw fear swimming in your eyes and it was then he realized. He realized the Order had taken everything, ever since he was a child. The Order had been all he’d ever known, and it had consumed him. The Order had taken every choice, every freedom and every luxury from him. 

The only choice he had ever made was the choice to love you, to allow you to get close to him, to give you his heart and every bit of him that came with it. 

Armitage loved you, but now you two were going to die there, in space, with no one to remember you. 

A final light blinked on and off on one of the control panels controlling the ship’s main hangar. He realized it signaled there was one last ship left in the bay. Kylo’s ship. 

And then it hit him.

“We leave. We run to some far off planet and we live the rest of our lives in peace. Together,” he said, confidently. 

Suddenly, everything seemed to click into place.

“Look,” Armitage said, pointing to that last light, that blinking beacon of hope. “It’s Ren’s command ship. It wasn’t taken because only him and I know how to completely bypass its security. It’s big enough for both of us and it has enough fuel to get us out of this system. If we hurry, perhaps we’ll have a chance.”

“Kriff, Armie, I love you.” You sighed, and the next thing Armitage registered was your lips on his and your arms around his neck. His heart sighed a gasp of relief and swelled with his love for you. All he could think to do was kiss you back in the brief moment in which he still could before you pulled away, a new sense of hope and excitement invigorating you. 

“Now, what do we need to do?”

“We only have 15 minutes, roughly, to escape before the last of the ship’s shield will break down. I need to shut down the security protocols, which will take a moment. You need to run down to our chambers and grab Milli, enough provisions for a week, a few changes of clothes and anything else you may see fit. Don’t take long and don’t bring anything that isn’t valuable or necessary,” Armitage explained. 

“Got it, General,” you said with a wink and a wide smile on your lips. You stood straight at attention and saluted him playfully. 

“Love, there’s no more need for that. It’s all over,” he said, a hint of a smile in his words. 

“It is,” you agreed, a soft grin playing about your lips, “but you’ll always be the general of my heart.” And with that, you turned and ran off through the doors connecting the bridge to the rest of the ship.  

A blush rose to the ginger’s faintly freckled cheeks and he smiled faintly, his gloved hand reaching up to his cheek to feel the heat radiating from them and then to the breast pocket inside his great coat. He felt a ring of metal within and it calmed his nerves, knowing it was still there, knowing that you were still with him. 

The ship shook and sparks flew from the rapidly decaying parts of the bridge’s ceilings as more rebel ships continued their attack on the Finalizer, bringing him reeling back to reality. Please let this work, Armitage thought desperately.

The Finalizer exploded and it shook Armitage to his core. He looked back and his heart ached as he watched bits and pieces of all he had ever known explode into oblivion and burn. Stars twinkled in the inky backdrop and despite the explosion, Armitage saw them as little beacons signaling hope and promise from afar. 

He looked to you, lovely and beautiful you, as you gazed back at the explosion. Worry was etched into the softness of your face, and Armitage wished he could brush away the pain and anxiousness with a myriad of kisses. He watched the light from the explosion flicker on your face as it mixed with the red tint of the ship’s interior lighting, giving you a glow that made the oxygen in his lungs disappear like an “I love you” murmured into the silence of the night. 

Armitage looked at you and felt his heart flutter. The ring in his pocket seemed to burn like the debris of the Finalizer. He removed the silver band from his great coat and held it in his ungloved palm. His thin fingers wrapped protectively around it as if it was his very heart which he held and not a simple piece of metal. 

Armitage thought of all that was you and his heart warmed like the planets of the Beta Proxima galaxy as they danced around their bright and burning star. His heart warmed, but he realized that the Rebellion could shoot their ship down in an instant and it would be the end of them. He wanted this moment to be special, but he might not have any other time. 

And so he took a deep breath as if to gather his courage. 

“Y/N, love,” he said, trying to find his voice.

“Yeah, Armie?” you said, worry in your voice.

“I know right now isn’t ideal, but I figure all that’s ahead of us is uncertain and I don’t know if I’ll have any other time to do this. I love you and I want to spend all the days I have left with you. I don’t care if I die tomorrow or in 50 years, I want to be with you when I do.”

Armitage watched tears form in your eyes and he reached across the consoles to grasp your hand and bring it to his bruised lips. He held the ring out to you and looked into your eyes hopefully. 

“Will you marry me, my darling?”

In an instant, you had reached out to him and wrapped your arms around his neck and all he could feel was the fire burning in his heart as your soft lips met his. He felt all the love in the universe pour into his soul through that kiss and he knew his answer.

Your kiss ended but Armitage could still feel your lips brushing delicately against his as an “Of course, my Armie” was murmured into the space between you two. 

He parted from you, taking in all that was you as you admired the simple, yet perfect band on your finger. 

But then, a shot of red passed the windows of the ship, and Armitage knew the Resistance was upon them.

“We’ve got to go,” Armitage said, his hands flying to the controls in an instant, pressing buttons and flipping switches in the familiar way he used to back at the academy and in his training. 

“Got that right,” you said, mirroring his actions. “Do we have enough fuel to jump into hyperdrive?”

“Just enough, but that means that we’ll have to land on a planet in the system we land in. Only that system,” Armitage said, weighing the options. 

“Better choose wisely then,” you said, punching in coordinates. “The Solaris system? It's our best bet. Small, not well known, but sustainable and peaceful all the same.”

Armitage placed his hand on the lever, preparing to jump into hyperspace, before he looked at you, love burning in his eyes and in his heart. “As long as you’re with me,” he said, his Arkanisian accent slipping through ever so slightly, “anywhere is perfect.

You smiled brilliantly and, together, you pulled the levers and steeled your nerves as the ship’s hyperdrive kicked in, stretching the tiny white stars in the sky into long streams of blue that characterized hyperspace. 

A small sigh left your lips as you looked over to your ginger general, admiring the small scowl of concentration as he guided the ship through the alternate dimension. It’s all behind us, you thought. The Order, the Resistance, the fighting and the pain. It’s all gone. And a life of love ahead.

Sun streamed through the window in the kitchen of your small but cozy house and a small meow sounded as you felt the orange tabby rub herself against your leg. You walked over to the window, where a few plants resided in small clay pots. Their leaves unfurled as you drew nearer, making you smile. It was like their little welcome and it never failed to fascinate you. Taking a cup from the cabinets, you filled it with water and poured small amounts into the pots, making the plants shiver. 

You smiled and looked beyond their curling leaves to the gardens beyond. There you saw your Armitage leaning back in a chair, surrounded by tall grass, reading an old book he had found interesting and bought in the nearest town. The sun shown in his red hair and a content smile seemed to grace his plump lips, ones that no longer bore the cracks and the bruises the First Order had given him. For once your Armitage was content and happy. 

Wanting to enjoy the presence of the sun on your skin and your husband, you tugged your boots on and ran out to meet him. Gravel crunched under your soles as you walked down the little pathway leading from the house to the small alcove in the tall grasses in which he sat.

Armitage looked up to find you walking toward him with a big smile as the wind blew through your hair and the lovely sundress he had bought you a month or so ago, the small flowers on it dancing in the wind. The sun that shone through a nearby tree warmed your skin and gave you a golden glow that made Armitage’s heart flutter. 

My angel, he thought as he marked his page and set down his book.

“Hello,” your cheery voice called, chipper and beautiful as always. 

“Hello, love,” Armitage replied, holding out his arms for you to come sit in his lap. You complied happily, pressing a kiss to his cheek as he wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face in your neck, pressing short, sweet kisses there. A lovely giggle echoed in the warm air as the sun warmed your upturned face. 

Armitage laughed quietly into the curve of your shoulder at the lovely noise. “I’m so glad we chose to run, my darling,” he said. 

“Me too, Armie,” you replied, smiling down at him. “Me too.”

RODALEACTCON: A massive corporation located on Roiretxe Esrevinu, responsible for the invention and creation of blackout technology. Because of the Major Artificial Sol surrounding Esrevinu, residents who reside on Esrevinu's surface suffer from chronic migraines, sunburns, and insomnia from the perpetual bright daylight. Rodaleactcon's blackout technology provides Noisulli homes and businesses with a sense of a day/night cycle, as well as clothing and other gear worn by the individual for protection. Surface residents of nearby homeworld Aniram also utilize their products, to shield themselves from Aniram's Minor Artificial Sol. Rodaleactcon's next big project is to reconstruct the Major Artificial Sol's innermost wall to permanently create a day/night cycle, known by the population as the "night sky movement". While this project was approved during the year 2599 RE, many residents of Roiretxe Esrevinu worry that this will completely alter the environment and landscape.

AISORBMA: A partially underwater small domed city of Aniram.  It was founded during the year 1580 RE, making it one of the newest cities on Aniram. Aisorbma travels amongst the ocean’s currents. The surface portion of Aisorbma is open to the air, but the majority of the city resides domed underwater to protect it from storms on the surface. Because it can travel freely, meteorologists need to be able to predict accurately where storms will hit, allowing them to communicate with the controls to move the city out of danger’s way. However, the city moves slowly which means predictions must be made months in advance. Aisorbma utilizes both hydro-electric and steam to power the engines that move the city, as well as power its city. On its surface level, the steam creates large billowing clouds which are often used as indicators for surface dwellers that Aisorbma has arrived. This cloud of steam is often used as a direct reference to Aisorbma in visual depictions and in their city emblem. Aisorbma was first created as a travelling market, which would make frequent rounds to trade and provide goods to residents and businesses on Aniram’s ocean surface, commonly owned by the wealthy and the Aniram military. It has since evolved into a city in of itself, but still travels to these wealthy surface locations on a well-kept schedule. Residents on the Aniram ocean surface make Aisorbma their primary source for all their food and other products, allowing them to further live in leisure without long travel distances to the next nearby city. Products sold in Aisorbma’s market are referred to as being the highest quality and luxurious.

ELBRAM, AND THE AIDACRA GARDENS: Elbram was founded and first colonized in the year 389 RE. This location is one of the most important sites on all of Elpam, as it is one of the first sites to be colonized on Elpam entirely. Pods where the first Noisulli explorers resided in during their exploration of the moon still remain, as well as their gardens created to attempt to grow organic plantlife on Elpam, which was deemed highly successful. One of the largest of the garden pods is referred to by the name Aidacra. The Aidacra pod in present time has long since been in ruins, however the plants that grow here are original to the garden’s creation, making the foliage well over 2,000 years old thanks to the meticulous care provided to them. This location is blocked off from the public and guarded to protect these ancient plants from harm. Elbram was also the original home of the Creator Program base located on Remmus Elpam, until it was recently moved closer to the Rotauqe border in the city of Naenarretbus. There are still remnants from its original use as a Creator Program base, such as abandoned offices and obsolete screening technology. Like the new Remmus Elpam Creator Program base, known as the Eireganem vaults, Elbram housed a seed bank which stored genetic material of all plant life and animal life. Being located within a warm climate, many specimens were prone to rot and decay. Aston Martin collaborates with S3 Architecture to design first residential project

US studio S3 Architecture worked with luxury carmaker Aston Martin's architectural design service to create Sylvan Rock, an angular black-cedar home in Hudson Valley, New York.

With building works set to start in early 2021, Sylvan Rock by S3 Architecture will be the first property to be fully realised under Aston Martin's Automotive Galleries and Lairs service, which launched last year.

The form of Sylvan Rock house will mimic jagged rock formations nearby

The service sees the carmaker team up with architecture practices across the world to design bespoke spaces where its clients can show off their most cherished motors.

Sylvan Rock will be situated two hours away from Manhattan, hidden amongst a 55-acre plot of forested land in Hudson Valley that will allow inhabitants to "reconnect with nature".

Luxury cars will be displayed in a glass gallery-style room

A sweeping driveway that spans 2,000 feet (609 metres) will lead up to the front door of the house. The facade will be composed of expansive panels of glazing and blackened cedar.

Its dark metal roof will be faceted to emulate the jagged shape of surrounding rock formations, at one point dramatically dipping downwards to form a covered entryway.

The house will also include a subterranean office

"When designing, we always let the land speak first and respond to it," said Christopher Dierig, partner at S3 Architecture.

"It's as if the home is born of and launching from the landscape. The resulting design blends our modernist aesthetic with the privacy and context of the rural location to create a unique luxury experience."

Parquet flooring and dark-wood joinery will feature throughout living spaces on the ground floor

Cars will be displayed in a subterranean gallery-style room that's completely enclosed by panels of glass.

It will look through to a wine lounge where bottles are kept in floor-to-ceiling latticed shelves that subtly nod to the intersecting lines seen in Aston Martin's logo.

Lounge areas will overlook the green landscape

At this level there will also be an office where the inhabitants can escape to do work without interruption. It will feature a huge window that offers an up-close glimpse of the craggy rocks outdoors.

From here guests can head upstairs to the ground floor where there will be a kitchen, cosy den, dining room, formal sitting area and an array of other shared living spaces that look out across the home's decked pool area and verdant landscape.

Other rooms will have views of the home's pool

Aston Martin – which will be responsible for the home's interiors – imagines each room to be finished with parquet flooring and rich chocolate-brown storage cabinetry.

Marble-topped tables and plush, leather-trimmed soft furnishings will further enhance the opulent feel of the home.

The first-floor master bedroom will cantilever towards the Catskill mountains

Elevated views across the treetops and towards the nearby Catskill Mountains will be available up in the first-floor master bedroom, which will cantilever over the house's ground floor.

"Our architecture and design team was immediately in sync with the Aston Martin design team, both emphasizing clean lines and the luxury of natural materials and textures," the studio's partner, Doug Maxwell, told Dezeen.

"Working with them we evolved our creative process to view the residence in a similar way as designing an Aston Martin car – by designing in 360 degrees, where no specific angle or facade took precedence or dominates."

Sylvan Rock will also include three pods where guests can stay

The grounds of Sylvan Rock will additionally accommodate three gabled guest pods that will stagger down a grassy embankment towards a pond.

They will enable visiting friends and family to have a sense of privacy when they come to stay but, when not in use, can alternatively serve as a health and fitness space or a quiet area for homeschooling.

There will also be a small produce garden where fruit and vegetables can be grown, as well as a pitched-roof treehouse where inhabitants or guests can choose to spend a night under the stars, closer to the site's wildlife.

Aston Martin's Automotive Galleries and Lairs service is not the brand’s first venture outside of carmaking. Last year it unveiled its inaugural motorcycle model, AMB 001, which features a 180-horsepower turbocharged engine and a carbon-fibre body.
