Active; focal plane 28 m (92 ft); green flash every 5 s. 14 m (46 ft) round stone tower with lantern and gallery, rising in the center of a circular 16th century stone fort. 300 mm lens in use; the 3rd order Fresnel lens (1896) was removed in 1994. Lighthouse painted white; lantern painted red. Trabas has Erich Hartmann's photo, Luís Boléo has a 2016 photo, Bruno R. Santos has a 2022 closeup, Huelse has a historic postcard view, and Google has a satellite view. This lighthouse and the Farol de São Julião (next entry) define the entrance to Lisbon, the passagem entre torres (passage between towers) as Portuguese seamen call it. The fort is the Forte de São Lourenço da Cabeça Seca, built on a small island in the center of the entrance to the Rio Tejo (Tagus). Navigational lights were being displayed from the fort in 1693, perhaps much earlier. The early light tower was destroyed by the great earthquake of 1755. The island was transferred from the army to the lighthouse department in 1945 and declared a national historic site. The lighthouse was restored in 1994 and between 1997 and 2001 the fort was restored and protected from storm damage. Located about 2.8 km (1.75 mi) southeast of the Fortaleza de São Julião da Barra. Pebalap Astra Honda Optimis Tampil Dominan di Asia

BALIPORTALNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Motivasi besar terpancar pada setiap pebalap binaan PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) yang berlaga di ajang balap Asia. Raihan juara di kelas Supersport (SS) 600 dan dominasi pebalap di posisi tiga besar kelas Asia Production (AP) 250 pada musim lalu, serta perubahan komposisi pebalap hasil binaan Astra Honda semakin menebalkan kepercayaan diri Astra Honda Racing Team (AHRT) dalam meraih kejayaan di Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2023. Potensi besar ditunjukan para pebalap AHRT pada tes resmi ARRC 2023 yang berlangsung di Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand pada 21-22 Maret 2023. Herjun Atna Firdaus menunjukan performa positif dengan meraih catatan waktu terbaik di kelas AP250. Sementara rekan satu timnya yaitu Veda Ega Pratama yang baru saja memasuki persaingan balap di ARRC atas penampilan impresifnya pada ajang balap Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) musim lalu, mampu menempati posisi kedua. Lalu sang juara AP250 tahun 2018, Rheza Danica Ahrens berhasil menduduki posisi ketiga. “Tahun lalu adalah masa adaptasi saya. Jadi, tahun ini akan menjadi pembuktian saya di balapan 250cc Asia ini. Saya akan memanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya pengalaman tahun lalu ditambah dengan modal kuatnya performa CBR250RR dan solidnya Astra Honda Racing Team. Pada hasil tes resmi kemarin, catatan waktu terbaik saya dapatkan dengan waktu 1:51: 005. Rasa percaya diri saya semakin kuat. Semoga saya bisa tampil sebaik mungkin dalam balapan pertama di Thailand ini,” ungkap Herjun Di kelas SS600, M. Adenanta Putra yang baru saja naik di kelas ini, masih memerlukan adaptasi untuk dapat bersaing menggunakan CBR600RR. Pemuda asal Magetan ini memiliki tekad tersendiri untuk dapat tampil maksimal saat race nanti. Sementara itu, Gerry Salim tahun ini kembali memperkuat AHRT, setelah Andi Gilang juara di musim lalu dan naik ke kelas Asia Superbike (ASB) 1000 bersama Honda Asia Dream Racing. Gerry pun merasa memiliki tantangan tersendiri karena hasrat meneruskan tradisi juara di kelas 600cc. Pengalaman balap lintas Asia dan Eropa dari Arek Suroboyo ini menjadi bekal kuat untuk menghadapi musim ARRC 2023. “Kembali balap di supersport SS600 tentu menjadi tantangan yang saya nantikan. Saya bertekad meneruskan tradisi juara Astra Honda di kelas ini. Saya optimis dengan kerja keras, saya bisa cepat beradaptasi dengan CBR600RR musim ini,” ucap Gerry yang tahun ini menginjak usia 25 tahun. ARRC merupakan ajang balap bergengsi Asia yang menjadi tolak ukur pebalap binaan AHM untuk menapaki jenjang balap yang lebih tinggi atau sebagai bahan evaluasi. Torehan prestasi dan performa optimal dari pebalap-pebalap AHRT di ajang ARRC tentu menjadi catatan tersendiri bagi rival-rival di lintasan balap. General Manager Marketing Planning and Analysis AHM, Andy Wijaya mengatakan persiapan baik secara fisik, mental, dan keterampilan telah dilakukan pebalap-pebalap binaan AHM dalam menghadapi kejuaraan balap level Asia ini. Pada gelaran perdana ARRC musim 2023 ini, AHM juga mengawal pebalap binaan yang siap bersaing di pentas balap Thailand Talent Cup (TTC) 2023 yang diselenggarakan bersamaan dengan seri pertama ARRC 2023. “Latihan tentu menjadi menu utama para pebalap binaan untuk dapat optimal saat bersaing di arena balap. Pembinaan berjenjang yang terus kami lakukan secara intensif, serta dukungan masyarakat Indonesia, kami harapkan mampu membawa harum nama Bangsa di kancah Asia bahkan dunia,” ujar Andy. Thailand Talent Cup   Ajang balap level Asia menjadi rangkaian anak tangga dalam jenjang pembinaan balap AHM untuk mengantarkan mimpi pebalap bersaing di level dunia. Selain ARRC dan Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC), Thailand Talent Cup (TTC) menjadi gerbang awal di level Asia bagi pebalap belia setelah mengenyam pendidikan di Astra Honda Racing School (AHRS). Tahun ini, AHM menurunkan Decksa Almer Alfarezel dan M.K Ramadhipa untuk bersaing di TTC. Seri pertama dilakukan bersamaan dengan ARRC seri perdana di Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand 25-26 Maret 2023. Para pebalap pun menyatakan kesiapannya untuk bersaing penuh dan menimba pengalaman dalam setiap race yang dilakoninya. “Saya sangat antusias untuk menjalani balapan pertama saya di Thailand Talent Cup. Saya akan memanfaatkan kesempatan yang diberikan Astra Honda ini sebaik-baiknya. Semoga persiapan yang sudah saya lakukan, termasuk latihan adaptasi dengan NSF250R, bisa bermanfaat pada penampilan saya besok di Buriram,” ujar Rama.
