It's kind of saddening that the media treats the discourse on the Loki fandom, or the fallout after the last episode, as something as mere as "shipping war" between people who want to see Lokius become canon and other else. IT'S NOT. People are mad not because Loki didn't end up with Mobius, but because they treated Loki's bisexuality as just a passing afterthought, a mere half second line, and then completely fetishizing his genderfluidity. As writers and showrunners who made the promise that they'll give spotlight to Loki's gendefluidity, the performance they gave in the first season is subpar at best.
