TAMIL: Suriya Sivakumar (A+ would recommend his filmography & quite famous in the Tamil industry too) and Kajal Aggarwal (she too is quite big in both Tamil and Telugu. Kajalism is like an actual thing) in Maattrraan (which is a truly wild film about siamese twins and genetic engineering and other nonsensical things)

HINDI: Shahrukh Khan (lol famous Indian actor is an understatement for King Khan) and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (who again is very well known across India for her filmography if not for Miss Universe title, stunning good looks, and marriage to Abhishek Bachchan *son of The Amitabh Bachchan/Big B*) in Devdas (if you feel like watching a truly classic Indian film with grand sets and grand tragedy)

TELUGU: Allu Arjun (who is a fairly big deal in Telugu- and in Kerala too) and Ileana D'Cruz (she’s pretty well known for a handful of big hits but I don’t know how big the Ileana fandom is to be honest) in Julai

MALAYALAM: I don’t know whether to laugh or cry about this but they used two non-Malayalis (who have not and will probably never set foot in the Malayalam industry) in a Telugu film for the Malayalam one?? Like is it offensive because they just saw the kathakali mask in the background and thought ‘must be Mallu’ or is it just plain stupid? Who knows. Anyway, I’m going to use their screw-up to my advantage and list more than one famous actor/actress from Malayalam (*insert Catherine’s evil laughter*). For actors; Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, and Prithviraj are the more well-known nowadays, but the stalwarts Mohanlal and Mammootty are the two biggest stars in the industry. As for actresses, we’ve had quite a few big name actresses in the past like Shobana, Revathy, Urvashi, and Manju Warrier (Manju is still active and making some awesome films now as well) but of the more recent Parvathy, Rima Kallingal and Nayanthara are most notable. But if you want to know the people on the page it’s Ram Charan (who is also quite well known in the Telugu industry, as is daddy Chiranjeevi) and Kajal Aggarwal again in the Telugu film Naayak.

KANNADA: Kiccha Sudeep (who is a pretty big star in Kannada and does roles in other languages too, although about 90% of his Kannada filmography are remakes :/) and Rachita Ram (I’ll admit I don’t know who this lady is- I had to look her up: she comes from a TV background and has only been in the film industry for about 4 years so make of that what you will) in Ranna (which too, is a remake- of the Telugu film Attarintiki Daredi *please watch the originals..please*)

and I don’t know too much about the inner workings of these film industries unfortunately but I did find the names for you:  

BENGALI: Ok, I don’t know why these guys at Einthusan suck at research so much but they’ve literally used a film industry from another country. Granted that both the Bengali film industry in India and the Bangladeshi film industry are in the Bengali language...they’re like two different things. I guess the people that I kind of know from my limited experience with Bengali cinema would be Dev, Jeet, and Raima Sen. Nonetheless, they used the poster of the Bangladeshi film Ostitto starring Arifin Shuvo and Nusrat Imrose Tisha.

MARATHI:  Gashmeer Mahajani and Kashmeera Kulkarni in Carry On Maratha (all of which I know nothing about)

PUNJABI: Jassi Gill and Sagarika Ghatge in Dildariyaan (again, I’m a failure sorry)
