Sometimes people find their interests in the strangest ways

I somehow ended up following a lot of lgbt X-men comic fans (I don’t even read comics, and I don’t even know why I followed), and I ended up falling in love with poetry because they all posted Richard Siken content at some point pertaining to Shatterstar (a more obscure bi character), which led me to falling in love with Mabel Podcast, and now I’m on a Mabel Podcast server and they’re talking about an X-men alternate universe

Edit: Oh! Another example, but less strange this time. Adventure Time led me to Mitski because Marceline did a cover of her song, which led me to Utena because people did amvs with her music, and now I realize those fanarts of Marceline and PB are of them as Utena and Anthy
