Just finished this little Wharncliff style blade. It's forged from 297 layer damascus with a dyed & stabelized banksia pod for the handle and black G10 pins to blend it in. This is simply the bestest biggest most involved and coolest project we have ever done. We started in February finished a few weeks ago and just installed it today. The trunk and branches with the lights were all hollow formed forged from black iron pipe the rest of the roots and branched were forged from bar stock. Then everything welded and the wiring run. A couple new knives I finished today. Both are forged from 1095 high carbon steel. The drop point hunter has a black & tan G-10 grip and the wharncliffe has a plum resin grip.
