the little mouse thing i took from the big ishka that time, and thief and tea leaf in these mark moving flats vlog/s; with zoe saying about her and her mum and getting attached and not being able to leave them behind in the shop... the move with the elevator mess and things going wrong etc. and even zoe and alfie's old house and that lounge area but their tv and stuff was in front of one of the matching cupboard wardrobe things. and the new furniture they've got and their place now. grey couch and whatnot. even there some kind of connections and reasonings and so on. and of course there was some other things i wanted to mention but i can't really remember now. maybe i'm just distracted or something...
but got some cold and flu syrup. been taking that and stuff. and keeping the green lyla blanket because of realising mum had cut the the tassel bits at the end shorter, which i remembered she'd done as soon as i saw it. so then keep the green one. the gold one needs a wash with all of the hair on it but anyway... and the other blankets and such... and the other things. two pink kmart ceramic things, two fluffy scrunchies, two kmart lyla blankets, two little ishka style blue bowls*, hemp backpack: macrame keyring set, green secondhand dusk candle, phone charger cord, pink cat pen holder thing*, “i love frankston” pen, big kmart frame thing, white blanket throw: sukin shampoo, two ishka cushions: brown pyjama shorts, limoges porcelain bowl, rug/mat in hallway bit: mum’s last pair of headphones, butterfly skull ring. the latter/last one went in the recycling bin we share with the first unit (of which even sold, still nobody has moved in or anything) [oh and the whole bin thing] on impulse to be quite honest but it's okay because of all this, but then also butterfly, and skull. like the puzzle ring - it had already come apart, and then out of frustration and such of not being able to get it back together i pulled it and got it completely out of shape and everything, so it went... i feel sad and guilty about that sometimes if i think about it too much. when i get more/enough money i'm going to do another palas jewellery order, the new evil eye collection anklet, the spinning charm (i would also love the ring, but hmm....), maybe the earrings? probably not... but then also one of the k initial charms that mum originally got me for a birthday once, but the hook thing got bent and the rest all scratched from wear so it was 'broken' and therefore i got rid of it. but when going into the website, in recommendation of the search bar or whatever, the last page comes up, which was an order for nena fraser. so just use that name again for this future order. still need to take my asos order to the post office place.

This is the second dress I've altered this week, believe it or not this was an op-shop find from @creamonvintage a few years ago. I've done 3 separate jobs on it, initially shortening it, then changing the bust darts and finally adding panels under the arm for boobage space - I had enough spare to make a headbow! Also, I'm making a giant doily rug for nicer photos, but I need more macrame cord to finish it. ~ . . . #classiclolitafashion #lolitafashion #blacklolita #alteredfashion #doily #ootdfashion #thrifted https://www.instagram.com/p/CAgXuZgjcn_/?igshid=1g32jjwe8h68g

Choose The Right Home Decor Accents Online For Your Home - Magikelf
Isn't it incredible how simple decorative objects and accents will make such a big difference in a place. Designers know and understand the impact of things like rugs, throw cushions, chandlers, art, decorative lights, and other decorations. They know how to use them effectively to give a home a graceful look.
Nevertheless, items and tiny decor can often detract from the overall look of a room. Decor items are usually cheap so they are a good option to give your old home a new look. I will also share with you some of our favorite home decor items.
Why is home decor important for every home?
House ornaments, including paintings to vases and lights everything in between, are the items that give your home a unique personality and look. Whether you proudly display the unique vase you picked from your last summer trip or place some of your favorite photos on the wall, these items are essential in reflecting who you are and what is truly important to your family. It's the accessories you choose that set your home apart from the others and make you feel at ease.
Things To Keep In Mind Before Choosing Home Decor Products
1. Choose Quality Products over the quantity Products
Choose products of good quality. We usually get goods from our nearest shops at low prices and in large quantities. So that's how we buy it. We don't even think whether it will look good in our house or not. That's why we should take only high-quality products for our homes which also looks good and lasts long.
2. Take time while collecting accessories
Don’t just buy the things for your rooms at once. If you will do this it will not look good and looks only like you just filled the space of your room. If you care about your home take time to choose things. Collect accessories over time and concentrate on objects that speak to you.
3. Adding things in layers
Consider accouterments to be cake decorations. Immense items should be used carefully, with small and medium items filling in and creating balance wherever necessary. While put together, various small ornaments might create the "feel" of a larger piece.
4. Choose the correct proportion of home decor
Take some time to study scale and proportion, as well as what works the best in a particular area, while selecting and/or putting accessories. Scale and proportion are free elements that contribute to the creation of a comfortable house.
Here are some of our favorite home decor products
1. White & Golden Leaf Glass Tealight Votive
This fantastic candle holder will accentuate the beauty of your home. Add these White & Golden Leaf Glass Tealight Votive into your home decor collection now. The holders sparkle and glow when the tea light is added, giving a warm and romantic light.
2. Macrame Chandelier with Shelf Plant Hanger
This beautiful chandelier is meticulously hand-tied with the finest quality cord. This product is so stable that if you keep your coffee on the shelf, it will not spill. This Macrame Chandelier with shelf plant hanger looks so beautiful that you can fill your home full of romance and poetic aura with this. Create a warm, natural and comfortable atmosphere for your home. The bottom shelf is a separate piece of 10-inch pine wood which is included with the product.
3. Multicolor Vintage Look Handwoven Wool Rug
Designed for longevity with a timeless pattern and durable flatweave construction, this multicolor vintage look handwoven wool rug provides a versatile foundation for any room. Tightly woven in a crisp mini chevron pattern and energized with colors for a relaxed enduring style. Flat Weave Dhurrie's are equally at home in casual, contemporary, and traditional settings.

macrame cords
macrame cords   Medium Ropes, 4mm-7mm are perhaps most commonly used, a great size for macramé beginners, more sturdy than the smaller ropes and the perfect size for plant hangers, wall hangings, furniture, lanterns, curtains, rugs, etc.  The most common rope for macrame is twisted three-ply cotton, which is both strong and fringes into a lovely wavy pattern. Some braided six-ply rope is also available, but I'd recommend sticking to three-ply options unless you need a lot of strength.  20mm Giant Macramé, Craft or Crochet Rope, Recycled Cotton - 2.5 kg. Giant macramé rope. At 20 mm thick, this is the giant of all giants.

Some braided six-ply rope is also available, but I'd recommend sticking to three-ply options unless you need a lot of strength  The very, very tightly wound cotton macrame cord is also called "sash cord." Sash cord is a bit stiff to use, and very difficult to unravel, but it is extremely strong, so it's good for weight bearing pieces and if you're looking to add lots of structure to your work.  Medium Ropes, 4mm-7mm are perhaps most commonly used, a great size for macramé beginners, more sturdy than the smaller ropes and the perfect size for plant hangers, wall hangings, furniture, lanterns, curtains, rugs, etc.

Once the standard of beauty for Egyptian homes consisted of a lot of gold. Baroque furniture reigned supreme and there was plenty to do; You really wanted to cram as much in there as possible to show that you can’t afford to fill in the blanks. And all the pieces were unsightly and looked like discarded from the private collection of King Louis XIV. ZIS EEZ Not what I asked for! take it away. More of Zee Gold! And a baguette!
but I digress. The time of baroque is over and boho chic has arrived in the form of the trend du jour, wearing a kaftan made of organic silk and eating something like an avocado. It’s more relaxed, it’s more airy, it’s more earthy—and it’s a little more spacious, to be honest. You really want your things to look like they’ve weathered several storms and were found washed up on a far-flung beach, looking casually luxurious, with wood completely painted over. Instead it got worse. You want your rugs to be a bit discolored, which is a sign to my mom that the carpet is old, used, and to be discarded immediately, but to me it means I found a gem and I want it Can’t wait to display it at its most tattered. I might turn my feet on that for extra measure.
There are now dozens of furniture, home accessory, and interior design brands in Egypt with stunning pieces that satisfy all your bohemian daydreams. What the whole ‘boho chic’ really is at its core is the absolutely carefree and sober decor; This often involves layering and/or mixing colors, patterns and textures. You can either go in a color direction with a more funky-pattern-and-clashing-print kind of vibe, or you can opt for a more neutral palette, which takes on a more Scandinavian feel. There is no one right way to do it and there are a thousand and one variations. Unless you forget the macramé. You should never forget macros.
Below are 13 brands in Egypt where you can find pieces that align with your bohemian decor. Obviously, if you don’t want to go full boho, you can sprinkle in your favorite pieces.
Pacific OaksThe brand focuses almost exclusively on neutrals and they’ve got everything from hammocks and swing chairs—clearly of the Macro variety because what kind of self-respecting bohemian brand doesn’t use Macrom—to handmade custom rugs. They’ve got a super cute variety of poufs as well as some larger pieces like some sofas and the most comfortable looking bed—the bed frame is basically a giant pillow and the mattress is tucked in. They are based out of both Egypt and the United States and actually ship worldwide.
INCA
Tumblr media
Since its launch a few years back, Inca has undoubtedly taken over the market with eclectic boho prints. Her style leans more toward colors rather than neutral tones, though youll find a fair amount of pieces embodying the latter. A big part of the boho aesthetic is mixing colors and patterns with abandon, and the Inca have the perfect prints for that. Their main attribute is fabric, so you can upcycle large furniture pieces, but they also have some lovely cushions—the floor and throw—and most recently, these incredible woven baskets that you can use to do laundry. There are, to store your children’s toys, or in my opinion, as plant pots. Be careful, they are a bit expensive.
kilim
Tumblr media
The specialty of this Fair Trade Certified (WFTO) brand is, as their name suggests, kilims, a type of hand-woven rug made using specific weaving techniques. They work with Egyptian artisans who consider the craft to be part of their heritage. You can select colors or neutrals, and choose the size you like, and one of the nifty little services they offer is a sort of try-before-you-buy option, so they give you a Send the piece to your home, you can see how it works for your location, and send it back. He has also recently added quilts, pillows, and some pottery pieces to his repertoire.
Mama Bear N Company
Tumblr media
If you’re looking for a macramé wonderland, look no further. Beautiful, intricate macrame wall decor is their strength, but they also have some pretty great swing chairs, including a particularly epic loveseat. The brand is big on pale neutrals and their pieces also incorporate a beachy vibe with many beautiful bamboo furniture pieces like their beach mirror and their Flower sofa.
Lush Design House
Tumblr media
Lush focuses mainly on large pieces; Sofas, beds, cabinets, full dining sets, and so on, so if you want to properly furnish and not just accessorize, this is a great choice. Their style is a kind of boho-Mediterranean mix and they feature lots of light neutral tones for versatile long-term pieces.
petal and stem
Tumblr media
It may seem like a random choice, but dried flowers not only have a whole boho vibe in their own right, but they’re also the coolest kind because they’re already dead, making them completely likely to kill themselves. ends. And they basically last forever. Dried flowers have a more pastel palette, so the colors aren’t as loud, and the petal end stem does a lovely job of creating dried bouquets. Having said that, if you want really funky and unique (live) flower arrangements, colors that pop more, the brand does too.
mashtal
Tumblr media
A big part of the whole boho vibe is the a ton of lush greenery throughout the space. If you’re confident in your plant’s parenting abilities and want an alternative to dried flowers, the Mastall has a beautiful variety of plants as well as pots to store them. And granted, you can go to an actual mast (a greenhouse) where they may cost less, but this brand delivers the plants to your home, which is placed in the pot of your choice (and if needed). Will make a pot again for you too).
home design
Tumblr media
If you spend an inordinate amount of time plunging into the ‘boho chic decor’ vortex on Pinterest, chances are you’ll be able to pick out a few key pieces from Casa Design to bring your bohemian vision to life. While they have a plethora of home items like planters and lamps, recently they have also added several smaller furniture pieces to their roster such as consoles and even an entire dining set. A lot of their recent pieces involve canning, which is having a big moment right now, and their flavored coffee tables are standout items as well.
choose meticulously
Tumblr media
If you’re looking for an array of boho inspired home accessories—with lots of rustic, wood-based pieces—then this is a good place to find them. They have lots of wooden side tables in interesting shapes, jute items like mirrors, and a plethora of pottery, some with more classic shapes, and others that are a lot more quirky and unusual. Using natural elements and raw materials such as wood and clay has a great boho mood.
cord and knot
Tumblr media
There’s another group of macrame masterminds with gorgeous elaborate wall hangings, but they take it a step further; For example their new Tokyo backdrop is a giant macro piece that can be rented for weddings and events. They also have some beautiful plant holders, and most importantly, the large plant pot can come with a cushion and double as a hanging cat swing. I said what I said.
Ellie Home Decor
Tumblr media
On the brighter end of the color spectrum, Ellie is a well-established brand focused on handmade ceramics in fun colors. The defining aspect of Ellie is how cute and colorful all of her pieces are, which lean perfectly into her boho aesthetic. And while people don’t automatically think of tableware when they imagine boho, the same can apply to the pieces in your kitchen, not just your living room. And don’t feel like all your tableware has to match; Feel free to mix different colors together to add some eclectic energy – especially if you’re not brave with color in your living space. They also have a funky marbled blue fondue pot.
tayets
Tumblr media
If ‘Jute Fringe’ is a word that resonates with you and you don’t think it’s the name of a new indie band, this brand will be your salvation. Baskets in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors—they have loads of neutral tones, but they also have some fun colorful pieces. And while a basket may not automatically come to mind when picking up household items, once you start accumulating clutter, you realize these often-overlooked babies are waiting in the wings, until you can. They don’t understand their true value.
Bya House
Tumblr media
The word boho incorporates a lot of elements and Maison Baya’s version has a distinctly tribal twist. His pieces are inspired by African culture, his first collection being a series of patterned cushions in earth tones made from Bogolan, a thick hand-woven fabric imported from Mali that has been dyed with fermented clay. A big part of the boho aesthetic are accents from all over the world and these throw pillows are perfect for mixing and matching and throwing on your sofa.
can limon
Tumblr media
The retail progeny of iconic eatery The Lemon Tree & Company, Can Limon is a real hotspot for all things boho. Although a large portion of their store is devoted to clothing and general apparel, they do have a few pieces of home decor. They offer both their own collection as well as eclectic pieces from other boho-minded stores across Egypt. Candle holders, throws, mirrors, prints, and even some tableware are featured in their store’s impressive collection. Keep in mind, upscale boutiques are a bit pricey.

Decorating The Bathroom On Budget – Cool DIY Ideas You Should Try
We don’t typically think of bathrooms as being stylish but that doesn’t mean they can’t or shouldn’t be beautiful and charming. This is one of those times when the little things matter and that’s exactly what we’re going to focus on today. Get ready to be bombarded with a ton of cool bathroom decorating ideas on a budget, each meant to improve the space without breaking the bank. These ideas will show you how to keep the bathroom remodel cost low by crafting all the accessories yourself. In order words, let’s plan a DIY bathroom remodel!
In every bathroom there are those everyday must-have items like the toothbrushes or the liquid soap dispenser. Since you basically have to have these things anyway, why not make them look nice and turn them into decorations? This brings us to our first DIY project which comes from yourdiyfamily. Its mail goal is to teach you how to make a stylish wall-mounted toothbrush holder so be sure to check out the tutorial if you like the design.
But what about the makeup brushes? They can get pretty annoying because they leave stains everywhere and they also roll right off a shelf or counter if you’re not careful. Well worry about that no more because we found a way to store them in a way that’s practical and that also looks nice at the same time. The solution comes from fun365.orientaltrading and involves the repurposing of mason jars plus lots of beads and cute tags tied with leather cord.
Having all sorts of beautiful and useful accessories and toiletries in the bathroom is definitely nice and all but they need to be stored or displayed somehow too and for that we suggest this easy-to-build and wall cubby. You can find the tutorial along with everything else you need to know about the project on fun365.orientaltrading.
Next up, a really cool idea for a toilet paper cover planter. The gist of the project is that you can make a faux planter with a hollow interior so you can hide an roll of toilet paper inside it. Keep it on top of the toilet or on a shelf and never be caught off guard. Also, that extra tp roll won’t look unaesthetic and your guests will have something cool to talk about when they discover this stash. Find out the details on ohohblog.
Baths can be really relaxing but sometimes you feel the need to do something while you’re soaking in the tub and that’s actually what trays/ bath tables are for. In case you don’t have one yet, be sure to check out lovecreatecelebrate to find out how to craft a bath table with built-in glass holders from scratch.
Some of the things we mention in this article are fun to have around while others are items that everyone has in their bathroom in one form or another, such as the bathroom rug. Most rugs or mats are plain and boring so if you want one that’s also funky you either have to be lucky finding one in a store or you have to craft yourself. We’re big fans of the latter so here’s one of our favorite DIY bathroom rugs. It’s made of pom-poms and was featured on mallooknits.
Open shelves are great in the bathroom because they don’t take much space, they can be installed anywhere and they’re easy to put together which makes them great DIY projects. We have a funky examples for you to take a look at. It’s a project from heylilahey and it shows you how you can use copper pipes an fittings plus some wooden boards to build a shelving unit for your bathroom.
Speaking of common things that everyone has in their bathroom, a soap dish is an interesting case now that liquid soap dispensers are around. In any case, if you do use one, be sure to check out lovecreatecelebrate to find out how you can make it out of concrete. It’s one of the simplest projects ever and there are plenty of cool ways in which you can make the design your own.
Let’s not forget about the always useful towel rack. Sure, those radiators that double as towel racks are pretty practical but a bathroom still needs a separate hook or two because these are not just for towels but also for bath robes, clothes and other things. Want to see how you can make a lovely farmhouse-style rack? You can find all the details on angelamariemade.
Aren’t these shelves charming? The horseshoe accessories are both practical and decorative at the same time and the actual shelves are easy and inexpensive to make which means that decorating the bathroom on a budget is actually quite simple. We suggest using reclaimed wood for this because it has more character plus it’s cheaper and chances are you already have some leftover pieces from other projects. To learn more about the requirements, head over to mountainmodernlife.
The shower curtain is another important element in a bathroom’s interior design and decor. A lot of times it’s a must-have, not just a decorative element. That being said, it’s totally understandable to want to customize this element. A particularly interesting idea in this sense can be to make a macrame shower curtain by gluing lace onto a plain and regular curtain. The inspiration for this comes from abeautifulmess.
Another idea can be to paint a plain shower curtain. You could create an ombre effect and you could even use a stencil to paint something on top, like this “I woke up like this” text featured on abeautifulmess. The project is not as messy as you’d think and it really encourages one’s creativity.
A box would come in handy for all those small items that usually clutter up the counter space or the cabinet. Of course, a simple cardboard box isn’t very aesthetically pleasing so you should find a way to customize it somehow. One option is to wrap rope around the outside of the box and to cover the interior with some fabric as shown on ourkidthings. You can use the box to organize toiletries and other things.
Let’s talk about shelves a bit more. We found these really cool DIY marble shelves on abeautifulmess and we really like the direction the project is headed. We’re pretty excited about the idea of having a way to put those leftover tiles you might have from previous home renovations to good use by attaching them to wood boards to make these lovely bathroom accessories.
These rustic-industrial bathroom shelves featured on cherishedbliss are quite charming too and so is that sign. Isn’t it amazing how much something as small and as simple as a sign can change the decor and the ambiance of a room? The shelves themselves don’t lack character either, especially with that worn look and the industrial details.
Not totally committed to the idea of attaching shelves directly onto the bathroom walls? That’s understandable in some cases. But what about the ceiling? Maybe you could use that surface somehow. The swing shelf featured on deeplysouthernhome shows you how such a strategy can work out. This is basically a swing used as a shelf. It’s fun, unusual and pretty all at the same time.
Looking for a way to organize and group up the items on your bathroom counter? Use mason jars. They’re great for that and you can paint them to make them look pretty or so they can match the accent color you’ve chosen for your bathroom. If you like this vintage look showcased here then check out the tutorial on masonjarcraftslove to learn how to obtain it.
You know those bath mats that are rigid and don’t actually soak the water but let it drip onto the floor? They’re quite nice even though they’re not soft and fluffy. They’re also quite easy to craft in case you’re interested in the idea. We found a nice tutorial on themerrythought which could help.
Everyone has at least one or two mason jars around the house and if you don’t you can just buy something that comes in a jar and use the content. You can then repurpose the jar and turn it into a soap dispenser. You’ll obviously need to make a few modifications to the jar itself. You’ll require a soap pump, some spray paint, a paring knife, glue and sandpaper. With these things you’ll be able to make a unique mason jar soap dispenser that you can proudly display on your bathroom counter.
Decorating a bathroom on a budget is easier than you think as proven by all the cool DIY projects we’ve gathered here but the list is not over. We have plenty of things to share with you today, like this nautical towel holder that would be absolutely perfect for a beach house bath or any nautical-themed home. As you can imagine, it’s super easy to put together but check out h2obungalow just to be sure everything is done right.
Most bathrooms have cabinets which are great for storing a bunch of things and for keeping them out of sight. You might think there’s not much you can do to improve or to personalize a cabinet’s design or look but that’s not actually true. One of the options is to give the cabinet a cool barn-style door like the one featured on shanty-2-chic.
Let’s not forget about the lighting fixtures. Their role in very important in any bathroom. Did you know you can make your own bathroom light fixtures if you want to? We suggest an industrial fixture because it’s easier to put together and because the design can be simple and even a bit rough around the edges. This one, for instance, has three Edison-style bulbs and can be installed above the bathroom mirror.
Yes, I know we’ve already discussed shelves and we showed some great design ideas but let’s check out one more project. These DIY floating shelves stand out through the fact that they’re unusually thick. That gives them a sturdy and also minimalist look which would suit most modern and contemporary bathrooms.
Not enough room in your tiny bathroom for wall-mounted shelves? Well don’t be disappointed about that too much because there’s probably one space which you didn’t take into consideration: the portion of wall above the door. That’s actually a perfect place for a storage shelf. You could use it to keep extra towels or toilet paper rolls up there or to display things like small planters or cute little flower vases.
We almost forget about the mirror which is perhaps the most important bathroom accessory. You can change the look of your bathroom by simply replacing the old mirror with a new one. It could be nice to try a different shape and even a different size this time. You can install the mirror yourself if you follow some easy steps. Check out the instructions on how to professionally install a bathroom mirror first.
There are also a few things you can do to make your existing bathroom furniture look nicer and to give it a fresh and new look. For instance, you could give the vanity a quick makeover. You can change its look from boring and generic into original and chic. This can be done by slightly altering the design of the drawer fronts and by installing new hardware. You can find more tips and ideas in the project describing how to turn a builder-grade vanity into a custom piece.
Perhaps your countertop could use a makeover too. Replacing the counter with a new one can often be an expensive project plus that would mean you’d have to make other changes around it as well and at the end of the day it’s just not worth it. On the other hand, simply change the look of the existing counter sounds like a more appealing option. Perhaps you’d like to try this faux marble countertop look. Spoiler alert: it’s actually concrete.
If by chance there’s any space next to your toilet, you could fit this brass toilet paper holder in there. Well, the actual top holder is actually just a small part of this wooden organizer but you get the idea. There’s a compartment in there for the brush too so you don’t have to keep it on the floor anymore.
Speaking of DIY brass toilet paper holders, we have one more project to show you on this subject. This one is in fact just that: a separate wall-mounted toilet paper holder and its design is simple and quite elegant actually, with a bit of industrial flair. Check out the full article to find out what you need in order to make something similar.
Right now you should have a general idea of how you can decorate and personalize your bathroom on a budget and we hope you’ll try some of the projects we showed you here today. Remember that the finishing touches are important and that the little things matter.
