These 2 colonies of ants comes out in spring and fall. They are at an almost constant war with the colony on the other side of the sidewalk.

Seeing this colony grow over the years has been something that I have really enjoyed. I know most people dont like ants especially when they get into their homes. However I sure do love them

Springtime Colours - Purple

Had a short walk around and spotted signs of springtime. Some pretty grape hyacinths or muscari flowers.

The cherry blossoms are out too, will have to try and grab my camera for them, but it is also raining so....will wait for dry weather, hopefully they'll wait for me :)

Two busy bees gather nectar from a vibrant sunflower, working tirelessly to pollinate as they move across the dark center of the flower. The contrast of the bright yellow petals against the deep hues of the center creates a striking visual, while the bees add a touch of life and energy to this beautiful close-up of nature at work. A perfect reminder of the essential role bees play in our ecosystem.
