A/N: Finally writing paulie. This is kind of like the situation that Sarah was in and the guys went to go deal with them because of it. I was rewatching the clips and remembered how upset he was about it. Thought a similar situation could happen to his darling since yandere paulie is just off his rockers..

He knew he shouldn’t have been so foolish to let you go out alone. Paulie just couldn’t resist your adorable little puppy eyes and the softness of your voice pleading to go out to the store while he took care of business.

Truth be told he had such a huge soft spot for his darling Y/N. He just loves you so much and he hates saying no to you. It pains him to see you upset.

But now he’d much rather have you pouting in your shared bedroom all day than to have those sons of bitches touch you the way they did.

It was the Morello boys, they were waiting a block down from Paulie’s place in hopes that it’d be the gangster they’d catch off guard….not you.

But might as well have fun with such a pretty face like you. It’s not often that you’ll see a beauty such as yourself traveling alone in Lost Haven. The added plus is that they knew just how much this would kill Paulie to know his precious little princes was taken advantage of by his opposing mob.

Luckily for you Paulie just couldn’t rest knowing that you were out alone. Would if you left him? Or what if something happened to you….

He made the guys take a detour down by his side of town just to check on you and make sure everything was alright.

I won’t get into any details but it'd be a blessing that the guys got there when they did or it would’ve been worse than what it already was.

Immediately, Paulie got you into the back of the car and had Sam sit with you, covering you from the wrath he unleashed onto the young boys.

Paulie may be an old brute now but he definitely was still a brute. He’s never been so angry in his entire life, he doesn’t know exactly what took over him or even exactly what he did to all of them but let’s just say the term “biting the curb” is far too faint of a word to describe the kind of violence he did. He didn’t stop until their blood painted the block crimson.

You didn’t quite see what happened to them but you do remember the curses Paulie let out and the sickened faces on Tommy and Sam. Not even they thought Paulie could be so damn dangerous. Neither of them sure as hell are going to try to get in the way.

The other guys covered for Paulie so he could take you home and make sure you were okay.

The whole ride home he was completely silent, nothing escaped him outside of the deep pants from the brewing furry and adrenaline rush.

When you finally got into the apartment building Paulie grabbed your arm and pulled you all away up the stairs and through the hallways into his apartment.

Still he didn’t speak to you and at this point, tears swelled your eyes thinking he was upset with you and that it was your fault.

“Paulie…?”

“Not now sweetheart.” Paulie torted as he pulled you into the bathroom with him, starting up a warm bath.

“P-paulie…? I-I’m sor-“ he cut you off not even registering your cries.

“Those bastards tainted you by touching you! Now I’ll have to erase their stench on your skin!” He exclaimed as he started to pull your top off.

“Paulie please stop! I-I’m sorry I didn’t mean for that to happen….I promise I told them to leave me alone! I told them I was only yours! Paulie I p-promise!”

Taking a breath he started to calm down, softening his expression and grip on you.

“I’m so sorry Angel…no- no I’m not upset with you.”

Paulie pulled you into his chest and ran his course fingers through your hair.

“I could never be upset with you. Don’t apologize for what those damn bastards did to you. I’m upset with myself. I should have never left you alone.”

Paulie cupped your face into his hands, plating a gentle kiss into your forehead.

“ only I can have you. I need you to stay with me. Forever! Without you I feel empty and lonely. They nearly took my sunshine away from me and that just makes me so-“

Falling to his knees he pleaded to you..

“Please forgive me, Y/N.I’m so sorry please don’t leave me. I promise I’ll protect you. I won’t ever leave you alone again. O-or raise my voice to you. I'll even go behind Salieri and kill the entire family if it’ll prove to you that I can protect you..”

Once again I'll give the same CW as the last post: if you don't wanna see any references to trans male pregnancy please blacklist the terms "mpreg" and "tmpreg", similar content to whats in Mafia 3 normally like violence, bigotry of the 1960's, war, etc.

General disclaimer: I'm still not good at drawing babies/young children and I'm not much of a writer personally so sorry if things are clunky.

John got home sometime around mid-November, laying low and skipping around the states altering his appearance a bit until he felt the heat died down enough he could return to Louisiana with no issues. Once he got home he was greeted by a very intense Lincoln alone at Sammy's while Dani was at Nicki's being watched. Lincoln was feeling a lot of stuff at once, like anger, but also just holding back emotions a bit, hiding at first that he was happy to see John coming through the door.

Obviously things got pretty intense emotionally a bit after John got into the house, but things cooled down (or heated up lol) and Lincoln immediately started teasing him for his more "messy" appearance, said he looked like a hippie.

Adjusting back home was pretty comforting for a bit, John's happy he can just stay inside, catch up with Dani and be lazy. Already he was naturally anti-social so staying in wasn't that much of an issue, just watching T.V and most he does is if Lincoln needs his help on something work related.

Wasn't too long until John started feeling sick again, waking up early to run to the bathroom, or accidentally throwing up at the worst times. He immediately had a "oh this better not be what I think it is again" and after a visit to Lincoln's personal doctor, yep, it was exactly what he thought it was.

Despite appearing angry, he was more annoyed and just wanted to give Lincoln a hard time. They were both fine with this because John's going to be more a homebody now and Lincoln can support them all. Dani, despite being 2, seemed pretty happy with the news, she kept saying "baby!" after being told.

John definitely wants to get serious about finally getting a hysterectomy after this kid though. Still kicking himself for not getting one earlier but oh well. Like the last pregnancy he was moody and wasn't allowed to smoke or drink, fell back into annoying Lincoln by popping gum around him constantly.

Rhys Clay was born August 10th 1972, Lincoln Clay and John Donovan his parents and Danielle Clay his older sister. Not named after anyone again but both parents were looking over names and just got attached to that one. Once again the baby was delivered at home with the same doctor as last time, only difference is that Dani could meet her new little brother as soon as they were able to.

Lincoln was very happy being a father of 2 now, though it was dawning on him that he needs an actual house for them now, but he has some time before both kids are big enough to get their own rooms. John feels a little weird knowing he's technically had 3 kids already but gets serious about getting a hysterectomy a bit after going back to normal after Rhys is born. Both John and Lincoln have to settle with a story now to tell people especially if John is seen walking around with both kids. Lincoln finally comes out about it all to the other 2 underbosses (since Nicki already knows), he's a father of 2 and the other parent is a trans man who happens to be the gangs advisor that's been working from the shadows ever since the beginning.

Vito and Cassandra don't take too kindly knowing that their bosses advisor is a now ex-C.I.A agent, and it does break out into a big argument between the underbosses, Lincoln and Donovan. Lincoln being so used to this now, he was able to get the argument under control by telling John to keep his mouth shut and telling the other 2 if he wasn't trustworthy, then why on earth would he willingly raise 2 children with him? It seems to work.

Some time passes: Dani starts school, shows a bit of an artistic streak while also showing signs of being very stubborn when she feels like it. Rhys shows signs of being autistic and is nonverbal until he's nearly 4 years old. The Clay Crime Family starts doing some good for the local area, renovating and building places, but also expanding their operations. Lincoln is basically untouchable now, which means his family is safe and sound as long as their around him.

John still goes around the city with both kids and visiting Robert, but can't seem to stop Robert from making snarky comments about both him and his kids, meanwhile Father James notices a lot of similarities between Rhys and Lincoln from back when he first came into the orphanage. Both very quiet boys but different circumstances.

Donovan takes a good break from his "side project", he's letting the heat die down since the whole senate hearing incident and he wants those folks he sent that message out for to get a false sense of security and think nothing more is going to happen, but John is planning on striking when they least expect it. He's not going to act for awhile though, doesn't wanna miss any birthdays and still be present during the kid's childhoods, also Rhys still needs a lot of attention.

Dani and Rhys are very close, and Dani always tries to get him involved with games she plays, Rhys is pretty quiet still and shy around new people but does start talking more to his family and other adults that come around, mostly Father James or Nicki Burke.

Rhys is the last kid and John tells Lincoln if he wants more, he can just figure that all out himself.

Both kids are still in development, character wise. I have some thoughts about Dani in her teen years, like going on with her friends a lot, as for Rhys, I'm still wondering what personality he has, though I see him getting into puzzles a lot. I'm open to any thoughts honestly, writing kids isn't really a strength for me and these are my first fan kid oc's for a piece of media I like.

But yeah, that's my cringe au! Been cooking it for awhile and finally got the guts to release it to the wild, like I said previously.

Whatever they want you to do, you’re going to do it. There’s no rationalization with these two. Lincoln and Tom give them all the talks they want but they will not listen. Pushed to the brink enough and their friends are not safe either from their delusional thinking.

You already saw what Sam did to Paulie…imagine what he’d do for his darling. Not the ideal men for normal girls. You will be tormented every single step of your relationship with either one of these men.

No effort is made to hide their sinister behaviors and your eyes will bear witness to their horrific atrocities. If you push them too far they might even harm you eventually. There is no escaping or telling what their insanity will make them do.)

Pretty fucking crazy but is in a weird gray area between the other two

They are in the middle. Paulie is already an irrational brute and Vito is a traumatized Soldier, so they are definitely operating weirdly.

They both have similar desires of wanting a partner but have been dealt an unlucky hand when it comes to dating so when you came along…they couldn’t let you go. Their obsession comes from a place of codependency..they need you sooo badly and they cannot go back to their old cold life without you.

They really do care about their darling, truly. They’ll do whatever they can to organically win over your love and trust. Sure they will be super touchy, maybe a little too bossy or over protective of you but they mean well… they truly want to be the “chill bf” but who are they kidding??? They are cray cray in the membrane.

At any moment they can and will snap…their delusions will get the best of them if pushed to that point. If they feel like you’re going to leave or are constantly rejecting them, they will do a full 180 and turn into the previous bunch. They are extremely accusatory and feel like you’re constantly trying to cheat or leave them. Tons of arguments and unsavory punishments.

I can’t say they’d do exactly all the same things as the previous much like they’d never physically hurt you or make you watch their crimes but they are damn near close to being like them…

These men are still very much Yandere and are willing to kill and fuck shit up for you but aren’t as delusional as the rest. Like on average people terms they are very yandere but in comparison to other members of the mob…eh.

I know this is going to piss hella people off but I can’t imagine any of these three holding you against your will or being overly passionate about their darling.

Your safety comes first and they are more go with the flow kind of men. Especially Lincoln and Tommy, despite their desires, your wishes come first. Joe is just Joe, he cares a lot about you but on average he’s like fuck it…it’s your life girl-. Forced intimacy and everything isn’t their thing.

If you really weren’t romantically feeling them they’d just become platonic yanderes and make sure you’re safe from a distance. If any moment you changed your mind they’d be right there waiting to give you the world but if not they really won’t do too much about it. These men would have to have been romantically invested in you for years for them to snap and become like the rest .)

Mafia protagonists and violence

One origin of the Sicilian Mafia is said to be from the protection of lemon trees—the Italian state was very weak during the 19th century, and so it could not protect the people or their property very well.

Violence and the threat of violence then became a tool to solve problems with.

And each Mafia protagonist views and uses violence differently, sometimes closer to the original idea of protection, sometimes further.

Violence has never really been Tommy Angelo's choice of language. He's the least likely to resort to violence, and he views the Mafia as his job that just happens to be illegal. In fact, he never really gets used to violence, not really. He wanted to be able to talk about it with his wife like it was a normal job. Frank tried to teach him that enforcing Salieri's laws was no different than enforcing the state's. But still, Tommy only stomachs violence if he can justify it as self-defense. Ironically, the only time he's able to kill outside of that frame is in his last act of violence to leave the Mafia for good. To protect his family.

Vito Scaletta, by nature and by environment, resorts more quickly to violence. He's constantly surrounded by the idea that violence solves problems. The largest influences in his life--his father, the military, jail, and Joe—all reinforce this idea, and his mother and sister who don't, serve as an example of how to be exploited.

But, he also only uses force in an aggressive environment, whether that's in a shootout or to defend someone being harassed. In fact, Vito was the one trying to convince Joe not to go in guns blazing after Henry's death. He wanted to know why Henry was killed. What was the problem that pushed Wong toward murder? Was it justified?

In Mafia 3, he works fine with Cassandra despite clashing with them in the past because it was all business. No hard feelings because now he knows the rules to violence.

On the other hand, Lincoln Clay knows violence is just a means to an end. He's the most aware of the psychological intimidation factor associated with violence, and that's the entire basis of the game. A fight where no one fights is ideal, but the next best thing is a fight where the opponent is emotional and irrational and you have the advantage. Hell, he's probably been aware of that from a young age—how he appears to people, society and how to play to expectations. It's only gotten reinforced by the Vietnam War and CIA.

It's his tool for revenge, for interrogation, but he doesn't like prolonging it unnecessarily. He falls into violence as a way to ease his feelings for guilt a little bit, but then spares Alvarez when he remembers the ultimate purpose behind his violence: to protect others from Marcano.
