And although it was never something I expected of you nor was it something you ever had to do obviously, I'm proud of you for telling me who you were and facing your fears!! And any possible haters, though I'd like to believe we've carved out somewhat of a nice little safe space for ourselves here on this blog lol The point is, I could go into another monologue explaining the specifics (believe me, I've already deleted a lot of unnecessary stuff 😂) but I think the thing I can't stress enough is how touched I am you feel so safe here. It means so much to hear that, you don't even know. And, at the same time, it upsets me just so deeply ONLY because that ties in with everything we talked about before and how hostile fandom spaces have become. Spaces that are meant to be our safe spaces that have now become war zones, and that's just counting shipping wars. Lord knows how much hate there is on the internet. But I guess that's all the more reason to grab a megaphone and try and beat hate and ignorance at its own game: be loud and stubborn.

I usually comb through so many songs that fit the setting but when Hello Walls came on while I had shuffle on--just while I was doing my own thing--I thought of that scene and the twist it could add and I just-- ahh!! regarding your question on 012's faceclaim, i do not have one. hopefully i will be able to find one, but that's always been hard for me. but i shall present to you...some picrews that i have made. (and yes i am aware that they may be a bit....bad, but i tried to do as much as i could to make it look like her) <3

season 1 (she's more timid and afraid in this season than the others)

season 2 (she's not as scared as before, but since will has been acting different, she is cautious-)

reason for the phone: she always tries to call will, but hopper tells her it isn't safe

season 3 (finally finding herself. loves to hang out around with her friends and doesn't cling onto el as much as before)

reason for ice cream: her favorite flavor is mint chocolate, so when she, max, and el go to the mall, that's what she's going to get

reason for headphones: while out at the mall, max got her some new headphones to help block out sounds (since malls are extremely loud)
