i feel like the scoundrel's dreams would be a complete mess of fire and ash and blood and flesh shapes shaping into other significantly more freaky flesh shapes and also lovely stars twinkling in the night sky with oddly vividly accurate constellations for someone who's been underground for a year straight. and then the minute louise walks out of the viric jungle the scoundrel tackles them out of nowhere to commit unspeakable violence on their person
