Yet more time lapse video of me transferring the template pieces onto heavy craft paper to start cleanup and refining of the pattern. This video is arms and front center, with the main body piece much like a bathing suit with a chengosam style collar & princess seams. This is just a roll of heavy brown craft paper that I purchased at Walmart for just under $5.00 US. I like it because it’s sturdy but pain and has a decent texture to it that makes drawing the pieces of the pattern a pleasant experience. (Some paper just sucks for drawing on. When making patterns, I typically like to use reasonably heavy paper so that they will last...but I am also an advocate for using 'Whatever Will Work', in the case for this ten foot long pattern piece, it happens to be red wrapping paper with a grid on the backside.
