Claudia Patricia Gómez González was an Indigenous Guatemalam womxn murdered by @icegov US Patrol agent at the Rio Bravo near Laredo, Texas. An educated accountant, she had traveled 1,500 miles from her Indigenous community in San Juan Ostuncalco, Guatemala, in hopes of finding a job to support her family. Her aunt, Dominga Vicente, had this to say at a news conference in Guatemala City, “This is not the first person dying in the United States… There are many people that have been treated like animals and that isn’t what we should do as people.” Please, share this post and help spread awareness.
