Hawks enjoys a great many things, the simple pleasures in life such as taking naps with his lover. There is truth behind his famous words, "I just wanna enjoy myself. Seriously. Do some leisurely patrolling, put in a few appearances and get a good night's sleep!"

In his ideal world this is what he would want, but even so, he gets antsy being still for too long during the day. Shortening his leisure time with you to only a meager hour before he's off again. Hawks might call them 'power naps' for his next patrol but really, it's an excuse for laze around with you.

Even when he's cuddle up close to you, he can get a bit twitchy. Shuffling and fluffing his wings every so often and repositioning himself to be sure they're not going to be squished underneath him. Sometimes moving subconsciously, his wings will jerk and flutter and accidently swat you. Blaming it on his restless disposition all he can offer you is a shrug and goofy grin as an apology.

"My bad! Sometimes they got a mind of their own."

The only time that his wings aren't twitching or stretching is when you preen them. In his opinion the best part of these so called 'power naps' is when your fingers are delicately carding through his wings. Grooming is something that can be tedious when he does it but feels so pleasant when his birdie readjusts his feathers for him.
