I meant to start posting last week but we had an unfortunate family emergency on Wednesday and I just haven’t been in the mood to post anything nail related. But, I’m trying to get back into the swing of posting, so fingers crossed there’ll be a few more posts this week. I have five already watermarked, I just haven’t written them up.

Maniology's Mani X Me Box: Stamping and Powder Art 2; Sept 27, 2021 Last Maniology mani! It was fun while it lasted, and it's been going for a long time. Three years? Yeah, I just looked, I paid for my first box in Sept of 2018. It's been a while! :) I'm going to be really sad about this. I've always looked forward to it. But I just can't afford it anymore. I've limited myself to two subscription boxes that I have to pay for. And they are now both taken up by a totally different craft. Resin Art! Nailart - Feuilles d’Automne

Hellow guys! Aujourd'hui on souligne le premier article dédié à un nailart, yay!!

Alors pour ce nailart, rien de compliqué, vraiment, il ne nécessite que peu de technique. Tout d'abord faisons un petit tour de ce que nous aurons besoin : 3 couleurs et une plaque à stamping avec des motifs de feuilles. Pour faire automnal, j'ai opté pour un off white de Essie, Pre-show jitters, et deux tons terre de Cirque Colors, Spotted in Soho et Red Hook. Pour la plaque, j'y suis allée avec une plaque Moyou London Mother Nature 07.

Première étape, la couleur de fond. Alors petite base, deux couches de Pre-show jitters et on attend un peu que ça sèche. Ensuite, à l'aide d'un pinceau à nailart, j'ai utilisé Spotted in Soho pour faire des grosses taches de couleur. 

Mon pinceau est de Maniology, le 106, reçu dans la maniXme box de septembre. Super pinceau, je l'utilise constamment depuis que je l'ai. Si les taches ne ressemblent à rien, c’est normal. La seule chose que je conseille, c’est de s’arranger pour que les rebords soient net. Ça va aider le look à ne pas ressortir gribouillé. 

On attend encore un peu que ça sèche, puis à l'aide d'un dotting tool, j'ai pris Red Hook pour rajouter des petits poids. 

Encore une fois, c’est assez aléatoire comme design. J’ai seulement voulu concentrer les taches et les poids un peu dans le même coin.

Et, finalement, après encore une petite période de séchage, petit stamping de feuilles!

Et voilà! Une jolie manucure dynamique qui donne envie de se rouler dans une doudoune en laine pour regarder les feuilles tomber. Comme je disais, rien de compliqué, il suffit juste d'avoir un peu de patience et de temps devant soi pour concocter ce nailart.

Maniology's Mani X Me Box: Stamping and Chrome Powder Art; Sept 13, 2021 I'm going to make nail art with the Maniology Mani X Me box! This is officially my last box, so my second to last nail art with these boxes. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do from here on out, if I'm going to wear one set of nails for two weeks, or If I'm going to make four sets out of the other box I'm going to keep receiving. I guess we'll have to judge it on a box to box basis, there may not be enough for me to want to make four sets from one small box. But we'll see! I suppose I could start coming up with my own art again! Bah! Anyway. I really liked this box for the most part. Ok, I really liked the colors of the polishes. I don't like either plate very much. And that's ok. I thought it was going to be really hard to work with this as my last box, but once I really looked at the plates, I wasn't inspired. I like the individual patterns at the bottom of the plate, but I don't like giant collage type images. What do I opick, what do I leave behind. I don't like that. But that's just me. The plates were also very rough, again. Maniology's Mani X Me Unboxing; Sept 9, 2021 Oooohhh, look at the stuff in here! They are really making me regret cancelling my subscription! There's even a gummy candy! Just like old times. Anyway. These plates and colors look absolutely delightful! And the powder looks nice, too. Can't wait to try it! :) Keep in mind, this is my last box. I won't be getting any more of the Maniology boxes. I was just getting too frustrated with them. Colors that didn't really work together, plates that tear up my cotton pads (that means, to me anyway, that they are rough on the stamper heads). It just wasn't working for me anymore. I feel bad, I do, but I have other things going on in my life and I just don't have the time for nail art as much anymore. I'm sorry. But I'll still be getting my other box every month, I'll just have to start making that one last four weeks instead of two! Maniology's Mani X Me Stamping Art: August 30, 2021 These came out really nicely as well. I'm very excited about them. The plate was pretty, still more rough than it should be, destroyed more cotton rounds, but pretty enough. The extra plate was really nice as well, especially since it tied in with the South Western USA theme. I did use it for the last Maniology nail art I did as well, but forgot to include it in that video. This, theoretically, will be the last time I do a Maniology box mani. I'm sorry. I found another subscription box I wanted more, and I allow myself only two paid subscriptions per month. I still have the Fearless nail art box coming, so I'll start doing four manis from that box instead. Or I'll keep doing two, and then do two off the cuff every month. We'll see! :) It was a lot of fun while I got it. But I'm not enjoying it like I used to. The plates are pretty, but they are so very rough, the polishes that are supposed to compliment each other really don't anymore. I just feel like they are not putting the effort into it like they used to. I know Covid was hard on a lot of people, but... I feel like these boxes are getting lazy. To be fair, though, I've felt this way for a long time now. I just felt really bad about cancelling. But I have to do what's right for me. And for me right now, that means working on my other channel. I'll post links on future nail art videos once that channel is officially up and running. :) I can't wait to see you there! Maniology's Mani X Me Stamping Art: August 16, 2021 Look at all the stuff! Three plates! One of them from regular stock and two from the box. and those polishes are super cute. I can't wait to try it out! This came out way better than I'd hoped. I'm quite pleased with the golden polish and how it popped on the brown. I was expecting it to be thin and translucent. But it wasn't! I'm happy. Plus the plate is very pretty. Coarse as hell, still. Very rough on the cleaning pads.
