Something went wrong either in kithood or before they were born and left ear never actually opened as a kit. HoH

Spottedleaf

Spottedleaf, She/her, Grayaromantic and Graysexual. Thunderclan’s medicine cat. Former apprentice of Featherwhisker and mentor of Fireheart.

A pretty, calico with medium, dark red fur, white on her tail tip with a black base. White back paws with a right white paw and a black left paw. Black tipped ears and a mostly white muzzle and around her eyes with a few black freckles. She has green eyes. She also has two holes in her left ear that she tends to carry small hazel twigs in. After being attacked she has four lines going down and across her throat. 

Spottedleaf is a funny, sisterly cat who enjoys helping out. She’s notably kind, level headed, and is good humored. Spottedleaf is autistic and her special interests are plants, poisonous berries, and bees. She chews on sticks often, which actually helps her teeth. Spottedleaf isn’t fond of kits and finds herself unsure of how to act around them, so she leaves most of their care to nursery tenders. Spottedleaf likes to joke around and keep things relaxed, but becomes quiet and withdrawn when heavily focusing on something. She tends to linger with decisions. Her parents where elderly and passed away when she was an apprentice, she lingers with what she wanted to do for awhile before deciding to be a medicine cat. If she hadn’t, she would have chosen to be a farmer. Spottedleaf is close to most of her clanmates, but was accused of favortism when choosing Mousefur to replace Bluestar after the leader’s death. However, the two became closest only after Mousestar became leader.

Brother is Redtail. Parents are Mapleleap and Parsleyclaw. Brother in law is Runningwind. Niece is Sandstorm. Grand-nieces and nephews are Squirrelflight, Leafpool, Falling Blossom, Bumblestripe, Briarlight, Shimmering Feather, and Stormfur.

Personality

Poor Emberstar. Nobody, not even herself expected her to become leader so young, let alone so quickly. Having only been ThicketClan’s leader for a few moons now, she was deputy for even less than that and is still getting her footing in a leadership role, to put it lightly. Prior to her leadership, she had been a bright and positive young warrior who may have grown into her own given some time to become accustomed to authority, but since suddenly ascending to her position, she has withdrawn significantly, and is wracked with uncertainty. A bundle of nerves, Emberstar constantly worries that she is letting down her Clan with her inexperience, and although she certainly isn’t a bad leader, and tries her best to be what her Clan needs her to be, and to care for them to the best of her ability, she often feels like she can barely move two pawsteps without being swamped by debilitating self doubt.

Still, outwardly, she remains upbeat and plucky to reassure her Clanmates, and understands the need to reach out to the other Clans and create strong connections both inside and outside of ThicketClan that will help her navigate leadership. Her nerves have lead her to a certain kind of humility, and she is optimistic that by surrounding herself with more experienced leaders and warriors, and by remaining amicable and open to constructive criticism, she can take her leadership one step at a time and eventually become the leader her Clan deserves. She is soothed by knowing that she has a very positive reputation in her Clan, and that they will be cheering for her every step of the way.

Backstory

Emberstar has always been ThicketClan’s little darling whether she has noticed it or not. from the moment she set paw out of the nursery, Emberkit was loved by her Clan. Her mother Robincloud, the leader’s daughter, and her mate Alderclaw were somewhat young when Robincloud had kitted her first litter, and unfortunately, three of the four kits had been born dead, devastating the new parents. Attempting to help the young parents, many of the Clan’s more experienced queens and parents, including Emberkit’s grandmother herself, Featherstar, all chipped in to help raise little Emberkit. Young and tenacious, the Clan was very taken by Emberkit’s spirit, and she gave the Clan and her parents hope that she would pull through and become a valuable asset to the Clan.

As she grew and was apprenticed, Emberpaw benefited from a variety of privileges and favors granted to her by Featherstar and the many of the Clan’s senior warriors. Naturally, one would think that this garnered her some resentment among her denmates and peers, and of course it did, but Emberpaw’s open and friendly demeanor, and willingness to stick up for and help the cats around her earned her many more friends than it did enemies, and her inability to let her favor in the Clan get to her head impressed many of her Clanmates including her mentor, Milksplash, the Clan deputy. Emberpaw was actually granted the opportunity to become a warrior slightly early, but she declined, preferring to attend her ceremony alongside her denmates.

Shortly after earning her warrior name, Embercloud was out on patrol when she heard pitiful whining coming from near the Twoleg Camp. Upon further investigation, she discovered a queen attempting to free her kit, tied up in what appeared to be a stiff, tight spider’s web, cutting into his paws. She and the patrol immediately came to their aid, and helped chew and untangle through the webbing, and released the kit. The queen and her kit were taken back to camp, where they described how they had been attacked by a group of Twoleg kits, and begged the Clan for sanctuary while her kit recovered, which they were granted. After they decided to stay, earning the Clan names Greengaze and Lightkit, Embercloud was honored to become Lightpaw’s mentor once he was old enough to be apprenticed. Embercloud found that she liked being a mentor, and developed a close bond with Lightpaw.

Later on during that Greenleaf however, Milksplash was captured by Twolegs near the Twoleg camp, leaving the Clan without a deputy. ThicketClan awaited Milksplash’s return for 3 moons, but when she did not come back, Featherstar decided that it was time to select a new deputy, and she elected Embercloud for her devotion to her Clanmates and strong moral compass. Embercloud was surprised, but happily accepted. The Clan was content with this choice; Featherstar although getting on in age, had 3 lives left, leaving ample time for Embercloud to grow into her position. However, in a terrible twist of fate, near the end of Greenleaf only a couple moons into Embercloud’s deputyship, a bear wandered into the territory, attracted by Rubbish from the Twoleg Camp, and in an attempt to defend a patrol, Featherstar was viciously mauled and carried off by the bear, presumably eaten by it as well. 

All of a sudden, Emberstar was now leader of ThicketClan, and vastly unprepared for her role. She nominated Houndpelt, a senior warrior to be her deputy, hoping that this would provide her with some much needed advising, but the two don’t see eye to eye on many issues, and she worries that her deputy may be trying to undermine her authority. Since then, she attempts to take confidence in Lightspring, her mother, father, and her father’s uncle, Spottedbelly the medicine cat, as well as his apprentice Cinderstep, who Emberstar had been an apprentice with, but had never really forged a strong bond with until recently. Cinderstep is now Emberstar’s closest friend, and many cats speculate about the true nature of their relationship, although neither molly has said anything about it. In addition to seeking help within her Clan, Emberstar has cultivated a strong bond with both Lionstar of MeadowClan and Darkstar of SwampClan, hoping that they can advise her on matters of leadership. Emberstar may be inexperienced, but she is doing all she can to be the best leader she can be.

Its no surprise some of her kits picked up her profession. Poplarfern fell in love with the nursery after having her first litter, and both her kits are apprentices now. She was once a strong fighter, who slept around a bit with the other stronger warriors of the clan who liked her strength, her intention is to use that to find the next father of her litter. Taking after her mother, Poplarfern is very okay being the elder queen in camp. Since her mothers passing, that has become her job, and she’s very happy to help walk her youngest sister through her first litter. Aspenbloom - pale orange tabby shecat with white chest and throat

She loves family, and often was found chasing after her older siblings. Being the daughter of the deputy, Aspenbloom was able to sort of get away with talking informally to senior warriors, and her speed hunting was second to few in camp. Only maybe coming up behind Sweetmaple, but hes a fast mf-er.  Since having her first litter, Aspenbloom is so excited at the prospect of filling the clan with kits like her mother did. Understanding that its the way to power, Aspenbloom is happy to help out a warrior. She’s a sweet soft-spoken queen, who loves her kits. One to get a little emotional, Aspenbloom just has so much love in her heart. Just dont think you’ll come before her kits, especially since she lost one to greencough, leaving her just Hazekit, the eldest of the two she had. No prob! I’m actually making my own rewrite (I think tigerclaw deserve better than being the bad guy because he had daddy issues at least he never tried to poison a kit and he cared for bramblekit (he was worry about him in the fire) so I’m also changing things up.. I made my own ocs Fogflight and Smokedapple who are the parents of brindleface, another oc call lightstone willowpelt and graystripe NO FUCKING PATCHPELT AND WILLOWPELT

OO! I love that au! Sounds fun! AND IKR? I was so happy when I kicked those two apart. and Patchpelt and Goldenflower? No thanks!  Warriors is absolutely wild with their relationships sometimes. Runningwind is suppose to be Dappletail’s kit’s father. Like. no?? and also they wanted him to father Ashfur and Ferncloud as well. Warriors truly is wild. I’ve had to jump through hoops to keep bloodlines clean. Which is why some of my ships in this au make no sense at all- but hopefully you’ll all get a kick out of them and it gives me an excuse to work on other characters Henry/Tawnyspots and Lionblaze/Owlclaw anyone? also I add plenty of ocs here! Brindleface and Frostfur’s parents are named Kipper and Screech.  Runningwind and Mousefur’s parents are Wrentuft and Shrewbite Redtail and Spottedleaf’s parents are Parsleyclaw and Mapleleap Prepare for plenty more too! Next is everyone’s fav trans deputy! Redtail! Redtail: A calico tom with yellow eyes and very red tail. Redtail is very smooth, and reasonable talker who has a great time mingling with his fellow clanmates. He’s loyal and very much in love with the social aspect of clanlife. Originally named Piper and Peter, the two were later named Parsleyclaw and Mapleleap. Unfortunately, the couple were old and when they both grew strangely weak, they retired to the medicine cat den together. This only happened as Redpaw and Spottedpaw were apprenticed. They sadly passed away soon after. His parents’ death pushed him to make them proud from Starclan, thus eventually earning him the deputy title. He is Sandstorm’s father and is mate to Runningwind. While Redtail birthed Sandkit he didn’t nurse her, that duty was given to Willowpelt. However both Runningwind and Redtail were very active in Sandkit’s life. Trans and Gay

They sadly passed away soon after. Spottedleaf always wanted to be a medicine cat but the death of her parents briefly set her into a questioning state. She came out of it more ready to help cats than ever. She received a prophecy, but she and Bluestar still don’t know what it means. Until a funny little kittypet joins the clan. She’s very sister-ly to everyone, including the lame jokes and playful teasing.   Gray-romantic!

How many OCs did you add into ThunderClan for into the wild to separate the family trees?

I honestly don't remember. Most names are unnamed cats that appeared in the books but never got more than a brief moment. I would say full ocs as someone who was never in the books, is less than I think. But my favorite for Thunderclan is Parsleyclaw and Mapleleap, who are Spottedleaf and Redtail's parents. And Wrentuft and Shrewbite, Runningwind and Mousefur's parents!

We see a little bit of Hellian in Into the Wild but not a lot. He's Frostfur's kits other parent! He and Frostfur have a lose relationship but he visits his kiddos.
