Born to an adventurous family, much of Mariana's early years were spent on trips out into the wilderness. She and her brother went to school of course, their time off however was spent on hikes and camping trips. They were known for taking their kids out for weeks at a time, with only the local rangers knowing where they were.

When Mari was 12, one such adventure took a dangerous and dark turn. The family's camp was found ravaged, presumably by a bear and a rescue was mounted to find the family. Though their parents were never found, Mari and her younger brother, Silas (7 at the time) were found miles away dehydrated and bloodied but alive. Mari had no memory of what happened but between the jagged cuts in her side and her brother's account they were certain a bear had wandered into their camp and tragedy struck.

With no family willing to take on two kids, they ended up in the system and were ultimately adopted by the Grayson Young. The transition was a struggle for both of them, dealing with grief and ptsd from the attack. Mari eventually settled in, finding happiness in her new family but Silas never quite adjusted. He believed their mom was out there somewhere, often running away to find her. Over time Mari learned to accept that and stopped trying to bring him home. As much as she had loved her biological parents, she'd had also known the darker side of the Vargas family business, a world she was more than happy to be rid of.

Her adventures were never far behind her, despite the attack and the nightmares and night terrors that plagued her she still went on hikes, even kept up with the yearly camping trip. Between her intrigue over the healing spring and her knowledge of the medicinal properties of plants she often supplements her income at the bakery by offering herbal remedies from the plants she grows in her garden and greenhouse.

Você deve estar se perguntando: " MAS QUE DIABOS É MAVE GAMMJI?". É a junção das iniciais de todos os membros do nosso grupo, ou seja, a Maria Clara, a Amanda, a Vitória, a Eduarda, o Guilherme, a Ana Karolina, a Maryana Gomes, o Marcos Paulo, a Júllia Rodrigues e a Isabella, todos nós do 2° ano "E".

Nosso blog foi criado para ser um meio de avaliação da Trilha de Cinesfera, no Colégio Estadual da Polícia Militar de Goiás Professor José dos Reis Mendes. Nossas postagens terão temas variados, e assim, cada um de nós poderemos dizer e expressar em cada post as coisas que mais gostamos. Seja comida, música, filmes e séries, livros, fotografia, desenhos e animações, entre muitos outros assuntos.

Para ficarmos um pouquinho mais íntimos, vamos apresentar um pouco de cada um de nós:

Amanda Rodrigues: Olá, eu sou a Amanda e tenho 16 anos. As coisas que eu mais gosto de fazer é conversar e ir a lugares com pessoas que eu amo, mexer no celular e ver filmes/séries.

Ana Karolina: Oi, eu sou a Ana Karolina e tenho 17 anos. Gosto muito de comida e de me aventurar na cozinha. Além disso, faço um delicioso café!

Eduarda Lavalle: Oi, sou a Eduarda e tenho 16 anos. Sou apaixonada por ler livros, escutar músicas de vários gêneros e ver minhas séries favoritas.

Isabella: Oi, meu nome é Isabella Vargas. Eu tenho 16 anos e gosto muito de desenhar, de animais, ver filmes e séries. Sou uma menina muito divertida e animada, e uma pessoa muito legal de se conviver.

Guilherme: Oi, eu me chamo Guilherme da Silva e tenho 16 anos. Nasci em uma cidadezinha no interior do Maranhão. Sou uma pessoa bastante extrovertida e que gosta de praticar esportes e tudo que envolve sair da rotina. Gosto de ler e conhecer lugares e pessoas.

Maryana Martins: Oiii, eu sou a Mariana Martins e tenho 16 anos. No meu tempo livre, eu gosto de ler e de maratonar todas as minhas séries.

Maria Clara: Oi, me chamo Maria Clara e tenho 16 anos. Eu gosto de diversas coisas, dentre elas, jogos, arte, animais, faça você mesmo, decoração, etc. Mas dentre elas, minhas preferências são os jogos e a arte. Então, provavelmente, vocês vão me ver falando sobre isso por aqui!

Marcos Paulo: Oi, meu nome é Marcos Paulo e tenho 16 anos. Gosto de treinar Karatê e computação. Também gosto muito de animais e tenho uma cachorrinha chamada Mel.

Vitória Santos: Olá, eu sou a Vitória Santos e tenho 16 anos. O que eu mais gosto de fazer é dormir e deitar no sofá, refletindo sobre a vida ou descansando a mente.

Júllia Rodrigues: Oie galerinha, meu nome é Júllia (eu te perdoo se você lembrou daquele meme icônico!) e tenho 15 aninhos. Eu sou apaixonada por arte, inclusive meus artistas favoritos da vida, são: Van gogh e Claude Monet. Além da arte, gosto muito de músicas, das clássicas até as mais atuais. Amo tocar meu violino. Amo comidas de diferentes origens e culturas. Resumindo, gosto de tudo um pouco. Acho que me empolguei um pouquinho.

Yamileth Mercado vs Isis Vargas

Sucks that a lot of boxing fans’ only knowledge of Yamileth Mercado (19-3) has been her loss up a weight class to Amanda Serrano. She’s had a pretty good career campaigning at super bantamweight. She is the current WBC champion there and has been since 2019.

Mercado was originally scheduled to fight Mariana “Barbie” Juarez (55-11-4) a couple of weeks ago but it got postponed til this week. Mercado will face off with Juarez in a huge clash this Saturday (Oct. 29).
