Marble Sculpture group, Orvieto Cathedral, ITALY. Ippolito Scalza (1532 - 1617), "PIETÀ" (1570 - 1579) the work inspired by Michelangelo's Pietà, was sculpted from a single block of marble and was completed after nine years of work.
The sculptural group represents Christ lifeless, just come down from cross and lying on the lap of the Virgin Mary, behind them Nicodemus with the face tilted towards the figure of Jesus and finally on the right kneeling Magdalena with her face leaning on the hand of Christ.
Magdalena is also known for its beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The small community is nestled at the base of the Magdalena Mountains at an elevation of 6,548 feet. Mines in Kelly helped to make Magdalena a boom town in the 1800's. As the mining boom came to an end, the ranching industry rose to the fore. Starting in the late 1890's to the early 1970's Magdalena was the end of the trail for cattle drives that went as far as Springerville, AZ.
Since my other players shared their Mage character as well, here's mine!
Her name is Magdalena and she's a sweetheart. She's currently stuck in the backrooms with the other players, a place she has vague knowledge on because (unlike the others) she's logged tf in. In her first session she almost managed to drown in a pool, put her sentient Tamagochi in her mouth (related to the pool), flew to touch a mystical orb and made friends with the others in the span of minutes. And although the horrors are imminent, she's convinced that they'll be just fine. :>
Nun reveal! These are the nuns who were living in St. Felicity with Sid! They all had pretty neutral relationships with Sid. Though Edith and her shared a godparent/godchild relationship, Edith wasn't any less hard on Sidwell compared to the rest of the cloister.
I also wanted to draw all the layers of their habits, to get a better idea of how they would work, so that's why Maggie is naked lol
I absolutely loved the last Ascendance of a Bookworm chapter~
These pictures are pretty self-explanatory in my opinion, if you know, you know.
But in case you're not sure, this is the various characters reacting to a certain 'ahem' ~Conversation~ in the latest chapter of volume five.
:)
I love this series so much.
Also- Magdalena doesn't have an official character design so far as I know, so I just used my imagination. She's third from the left in the first picture.
