Oh this is difficult to answer with Fire Emblem since most pairings in recent games are variable. Still, there tends to be at least strong suggestions in favor of one or more pairings in the games, so they are “technically canon”. And well, most of them would count for this.

I find a number of them cute (MarthxCaeda as a definitive canon one, EliwoodxNinian), but honestly don’t ship any. Most of the time I am not a big fan of the main lords anyway, Micaiah and Dimitri being exceptions. I usually just nod and move on when I see one, completely indifferent.

While they may want to protect another from engaging in combat they both know neither can be backed down from fighting. Weakness is their love indirectly caused the events of Mystery of the Emblem. Although hypothetically Evil Hardin in this universe would probably find a way to kill his brother, become King and start a war.
