Despite being third-generation royals, the Tsarevich and Tsarevna have received a lot of attention for being the first royal babies since The Reinstation. Unlike other royal families however, their public appearances and activities have been carefully screened to give them privacy as individuals.

⚜️❤️ The heir presumptive Tsarevich was a quiet and introspective child, often taking a while to answer questions to look at his family for help. He looked up to his grandfather and had been seen sitting on his lap in the midst of public appearances. ⚜️❤️ The Russian press and public saw him as the quintessential royal child, the poster boy of Slavic nobility. ⚜️❤️ He was affectionately titled 'The Star of Moscow.'

⚜️💜 The Tsarevna was a more temperamental child, often energetic and bossing her cousin around. She often had a rather sharp tongue and an even sharper wit, unafraid of chatting with adults in the midst of conference (getting annoyed at adults who patronise her). ⚜️💜 The Russian press and public looked at her fondly, painting her as the nation's little sister. ⚜️💜 She was affectionately titled 'The Darling of St Petersburg.'
