this week is the 9th anniversary of me fleeing my parents’ home, which is. fine. it’s whatever. but more importantly that means that NEXT year I’ll be celebrating a decade of Being Disowned and I really need to come up with a proper way to celebrate it

Omg, your toto is the cutest!!! I'm so in love!!! Awwww 😍😍😍 He's almost the same age as my cat! I think pets were made to be spoiled. Hehe My cats are called Jiji, Pipoca and Olivia! That's unfortunate. My best friend is also allergic to cats and was thinking about getting those shots. I'm not really sure if she did end up doing it or not. She has two Siberian cats! They're so cute and fluffy, but she still has some allergies to them sometimes. Even though they're not as bad as other cats, yes, she's a little bit crazy for this. Awwww

I struggle with finding good translations sometimes that's why I read a lot in English, when I compare it's like some of the beauty of the text is lost, sadly. I did try to read some Spanish classics in Spanish last year and it was awesome. I'm hoping I can get my life together a bit more so I have more focus on learning more languages. 😝 Sorry for the rambling.

Definitely, cakes are the best thing ever created in terms of food. That sounds delicious!!! Oh, I love these kind of french toasts we do and "filhoses" which is a very traditionally portuguese Christmas pastry. Those are my absolute favs!!!

i actually just ordered some new years postcards so i can mail them out to our family and friends, and then also some christmas cards for next year with toto's santa photos! i think they're getting here today? i'm super excited! those names are so cute — i was going to ask for photos but then remembered secret santa </3 but maybe after the reveal, i'd love to see photos of your cats :) i am super allergic to cats but i used to go to the cat cafe like once or twice a month and just hang out with them haha! so i get it!

you're totally fine! ramble away! i took a few years of spanish in middle school (so a very long time ago) but i do want to pick it back up again; i was thinking of doing duolingo in the new year (for both spanish + mandarin), but we'll see! i was doing very good with duolingo this year until i got busy and then ... i stopped one day and never went back to it.

googled filhoses and they look DELICIOUS!!! and now i am craving sugar at 8 am :) what kind of french toast do y'all do? i grew up in hong kong and one of my comfort snacks is like, toast + peanut butter + condensed milk and it is sooooo sooooo good (and incredibly sweet).
