January is just a month of my fave fictional characters’ birthday celebrations. And mine too lol
#one would ask why i refuse to acknowledge aos kirk's birthday being in january though lol#but i don't. march only#spock and mccoy in january. kirk in march#leni's nonsense#sad thing is that for a few years i've wanted to write a fic for spock/mccoy birthdays and so far no fic was created...#maybe in march i will write a fic related to kirk's birthday... maybe.... i'm obsessed with the idea of mccoy giving him glasses for all#birthdays after his 52nd one#because kirk keeps breaking them or loosing them#or selling them sjhdjdsfhjdsghjdghj#that was just once though#also. i don't think that vulcans celebrate birthdays but when spock was little amanda celebrated. and then the concept was still present#because of michael's presence even though there was imho no celebration for spock#but on the enterprise mccoy and kirk do remember and it's never about a party it's just to commemorate another year#and perhaps a small present is given.#spock remembers kirk and mccoy's birthday's and they return the favour#even though it's usually just kirk and mccoy who would share a drink. spock would just congratulate them#and then they'd either spend the evening as usual or spock would just go do his own thing#like it isn't a big deal. but the 'happy birthday spock' from kirk and mccoy comes every year
