It’s been a whole year since Seán manifested himself into our homes, kicked our gold fish, stole all of our left socks, left the fridge door open, let the flies in and oh, punched us right in the feels where it hurts.

Because I can barely believe it.

it’s been one year.

Y’all Anti isn’t gonna show up until we least expect it. 

Right now? Now not only do we expect it, but we’re leaned into the screen, unblinking, combing through the various well-hidden clues we’ve been given. 

He’s not gonna show up until we’ve become sure we’re in for another wait, until we’ve settled back into our memes and gotten comfortable. 

What’s worse? We might not even recognize him when he does show up. I don’t think he’s much interested in giggling and winking at us in the camera anymore, and he’s thrown his tantrum already. He’s out and mobile and, as he’s told us...

he’s tired of playing pretend. 

It’s hard to even know which way to pour our protective instincts either because anything could be a smoke screen. Every time we turn our attention to his current target he’s already moved on to the next one. In one way or another he’s threatened every other ego, and he’s killed Jack twice. 

tl;dr Anti’s not coming back until we’ve left ourselves open for a sucker punch, and it’s gonna fucking h u r t when he takes it.

What if...

I was watching through last year’s Mayhem stuff and I would like to propose something:

Jack did wake up.

Evidence:

May 7th we heard Chase telling him he needed to wake up.

Jack. Jack! This is Chase... you need to wake up.

May 8th- one of them (I say Jack) wakes up from an obvious nightmare.

I remember what he did to me.

And then May 9th-

Jack you have to flee

I say he did wake up and at least some of the others were trying to have his back and help him to get away from Anti.
