MCCC ‘17 Wolverine cosplay: SUCCESS! Next year (if same character): bigger hair, bigger muscles, distressed shirt, taped nips (think of the children!); I may need to re-evaluate the designs of the claws and cigar, also. My claws went out of alignment literally my first step onto the show floor, and the straw (mouthpiece) portion of my fake cigar was jabbing painfully into my tongue the whole time. All the little details made it work, though; lots of character recognition and even some requests for photos! Fun. :)

Taking a short break from TK to work on my Wolverine cosplay for Motor City Comic Con next weekend. Got 3 claws cut from foam board this morning with 3 more to go, then paint and assemble.

The dog tag is a backup I made today in case my real ones don't arrive in the mail in another week.

Let the bodies hit the floor! Just need a quick spray of silver o'er top, and claws are DONE. I also finished up a SECRET prop (super-happy with results) which won't be revealed until MCCC; I love these single-day projects!
