Dalhousie Tour
It is most well-known for being the location of the pristine and quiet Dhauladhar Mountain Range, which gives the hill station of Dalhousie its name. The name of the hill station was given in honor of Lord Dalhousie. In addition to this, it is well-known for its Victorian architecture, its colonial charm, its picture-perfect panoramas, and its thrilling activities. All of these things contribute to its overall appeal.
In addition to its many other attractions, Dalhousie is known for its lush vegetation, which piques the curiosity of every tourist that comes there. There are deodar trees, sometimes known as cedar trees, in every nook and crevice of Dalhousie. In fact, cedar trees are another name for deodar trees. Exploring the forested areas of Dalhousie is certain to provide tourists with an unforgettable and thrilling experience. In particular, one would want to try the most popular foods in Dalhousie, which originate from a range of different cuisines and include dishes such as Chowmein from China, Momos from Tibet, fare from Kashmir, and Idlis from South India. The tourists may choose from a number of different eateries to fulfil their culinary cravings at different times throughout the day. From the months of March to May: The month of March marks the beginning of Dalhousie's summer season, which lasts all the way through the month of May. Because the climate is pleasant and the temperature is often lower than 30 degrees Celsius during this time of year, it is the most popular time for tourists to travel to this hill station from other parts of India.
Feel free to contact one of our knowledgeable Trip Counselors with any inquiries you may have about our thrilling and reasonably priced Dalhousie trips.

Dharamshala Cricket Stadium: Situated at an altitude of about 1,457 meters (4,780 feet), this stadium is one of the highest international cricket grounds in the world and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Naddi Village: A short drive from McLeod Ganj, Naddi Village provides mesmerizing views of the Dhauladhar range and the Kangra Valley. It is an excellent place to experience tranquility and enjoy the natural beauty.
Dal Lake: Another nearby attraction is Dal Lake, a small and serene lake surrounded by lush deodar trees.

Norbulinka Institute: Situated a few kilometers away from Dharamshala, this institute is dedicated to preserving Tibetan arts and crafts. Visitors can witness traditional Tibetan crafts being created here.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Himachal Pradesh?
The best time to visit Himachal Pradesh is between March and June. While the rest of the country suffers from oppressive heat, Himachal Pradesh residents revel in the pleasant weather. However, some people like the state's cold weather. Before booking Himachal travel packages, it is a good idea to know which months you want to visit.
Himachal Pradesh in the summer
The summer season in Himachal Pradesh begins in March and continues till June. During these months, the weather is lovely. During this season, most people avail Himachal tourism packages to escape the heat in their city.
Himachal Pradesh's monsoon season
The monsoon season begins in July, and if you take Himachal tourist packages during that period, you may be delayed in the state for a long time due to landslides and heavy rainfall. During the monsoon season, however, you can find fantastic rates on Himachal trips.
Himachal Pradesh in the winter
The winter season is the next most popular time for travelers to visit Himachal Pradesh. The winter season begins in late October and lasts until February. The winter season is perfect for honeymooners since they can see the mountains blanketed in snow, and the scenery is breathtaking. You can even participate in the many winter events that are held here. You will not have to cope with heat regardless of the season you visit Himachal Pradesh in. During these months, you can choose from Himachal Pradesh tourism packages.
How to travel to Himachal Pradesh
Tourists visit Himachal Pradesh all year. It is one among India's well-known tourist destinations. As a result, if you are wondering how to reach Himachal Pradesh, you should know that it is not difficult. The roads are in decent shape, so you can even embark on a road trip. If you want to save time while traveling, a flight is the greatest alternative. You can even take a train ride and take in the scenery. Let us go over the three choices in depth.
By Air
Shimla, Kullu-Manali, and Dharamshala are the three domestic airports in Himachal Pradesh. These airports are well-connected to the country's major cities. As a result, visiting Himachal Pradesh is the simplest option.
Rail transport
Because of the hilly terrain in Himachal Pradesh, the Indian Railway was unable to conduct much work on the tracks. However, a narrow-gauge track connects Kangra, Kalka, and Shimla to Pathankot in Punjab. You will be able to see the scenic beauty of rural Himachal if you intend to travel to Himachal Pradesh by rail. The trip will take approximately eight hours. Another alternative is to take a toy train journey via 102 tunnels, 864 bridges, and 900 turns. It's a 60-mile trip. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Kalka-Shimla Toy Train.
By Road
You can choose to travel to this beautiful state via road only if you are alright with the sharp turns. The state boasts eight national highways and 19 state highways that keep Himachal Pradesh connected with other states in the country. If you are traveling by your own car or are booking a cab, then you can visit even the remote places here. However, if you travel via bus, you have to follow a certain route. You can choose from state-owned buses or private buses. During the winter season, you might come across some roads that get blocked because of heavy snowfall. Therefore, when you plan to travel to Himachal Pradesh via road, you have to choose the months accordingly.
Himachal Pradesh's Top Tourist Attractions
Himachal Pradesh has been blessed with some of the world's most picturesque places. This state will never disappoint you, whether you wish to escape the searing heat or see snowfall. So, before you finalize your plans, let us go over some of the best tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Many of these locations are likely to be included in our Himachal travel packages.
Shimla
Shimla is surely one of the greatest Himachal Pradesh tourist destinations. Shimla's weather is lovely, and the hill station has a touch of British refinement. You can visit this location at any time of year. If you still want to know the best time to visit Shimla, plan your Himachal holidays between May and July or November and January. Shimla receives snowfall in the latter part of December and early January. You can try your hand at polo and even go shopping while you're here. Shimla is a popular location on most Himachal travel packages.
Kullu-Manali
Kullu-Manali is one of India's most popular hill stations, and as such, it is included in the majority of Himachal Pradesh vacation packages. Tourists from all over the world go to Kullu-Manali. This destination's snow-capped mountains are stunning. To make your trip to Himachal Pradesh even more exciting, visit the Manali Bird Sanctuary, visit age-old temples, go trekking, river rafting, camping, and even try adventure sports at Solang Valley.
Dharamshala
From its climate to spirituality in the air, from temples to monasteries, you can have several reasons to visit Dharamshala. This is one of the places in India where the multicultural Indian community and Indo-Tibetan community live with each other in peace and harmony. You can visit the Bhagsunath Temple here which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and along with that, you can also visit Bhagsu Falls. You can also visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex and the Kangra Art Museum in Dharamshala. Visiting Dharamshala can make your Himachal holidays worth it.

At Malana, you will have plenty of time to disconnect from technology and appreciate the lush surroundings. The small community is beautiful, and the weather is breathtaking. The views of the Deo Tiba and Chandrakhani crests from Malana are breathtaking. Attending the Malana festivals allows you to learn about the village's culture and customs. You can also go on a woodland hike here. Because you can have a fantastic time in Malana, you should include it in your Himachal tourism packages.

Dalhousie
Dalhousie, sometimes known as the "Mini Switzerland of India," must be included in Himachal trip packages. Dalhousie is a peaceful haven away from the rush and bustle of city life. The scenic vistas here are breathtaking, and your Himachal Pradesh tour would be incomplete without a visit to Dalhousie.
Kasol
There would be a large number of Israelis in Kasol. Although it is a popular destination for young people, you can visit Kasol if you are planning a Himachal holiday with your family. Make certain that Kasol is included in the Himachal travel packages. Hiking and trekking are two adventurous activities available here. While in Kasol, you can also visit the nearby holy town of Manikaran.
Activities in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh isn't just about natural beauty and pleasant weather. You can do a lot here. And if you enjoy adventure, you'll love this state. Himachal Pradesh has several sites where you can attempt paragliding, trekking, hiking, skiing, and other activities. In Himachal Pradesh, you can camp around a bonfire at night while fishing in the morning. Here are some activities in Himachal Pradesh that you should not miss out on. If you look at Himachal travel packages, you'll notice that many of these activities are included.
Trekking
Trekking to Triund Hill is an adventure you will remember for the rest of your life. Triund hill is situated in the Dhauladhar range. This hill's trail is only for experienced hikers. As a result, you must ensure that you are adequately prepared. You may see Shri Kunal Pathri Devi Temple, Gallu Devi Temple, Shiva Cafe, and Bhagsu Waterfalls while trekking. The optimum months to hike this trail are between March and June. You must participate in this activity if you choose Himachal tourist packages.
Nature meets
You should make time to visit Himachal Pradesh's Great Himalayan National Park. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Kullu. The landscape is peppered with Alpine peaks and meadows. There are about 375 animal species that can be found here. A jungle safari is an excellent way to see animals in their natural habitat. The best time to visit this national park is between March and November. You can then book a Himachal tour package.
A visit to Khajjiar Lake
Khajjiar Lake is a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh's Khajjiar. The beautiful meadows alongside the lake make it appear to be a painting come to reality. From this lake, you may also get a good view of Mount Kailash. Activities near the lake include paragliding, horseback riding, and zorbing.
