So, I don't tend to talk about women's armor in video games. For the most part, I feel like if an armor set is bad, there's plenty of women already in the arena to fight that battle and I don't need to speak over them.

...having said that, I want to permanently cripple whoever it was that signed off on this gender-split design for the Great Wroggi:

Like, honestly! Most of the time, Monster Hunter armors are pretty fair between the male and female versions, and a lot of the time I prefer the female versions based solely off aesthetics...but this is just awful! Dude's all set to cosplay as McRee from Overwatch while his girlfriend is getting ready for her swimsuit calendar photoshoot. He's wearing pants and chaps, she's wearing panties and chaps. He's all decked out for the rodeo, she's all decked out for the ho-deo. Like, what in the ever loving fuck is up with this design?!

And the worst part is that you can tell this isn't a wholly original design—they still share features, from the elbows and knees down, and the little half-poncho cape, and even the crossed belts and chaps. It wouldn't have been that much harder to just make a more form-fitting, feminine version of the Great Wroggi outfit, but instead they made this! It's honestly insulting.

Not TMNT related sorry all! I’ve just come back from Amecon- an anime convention in the UK. myself and eight others including @scraplette as Halloween Mei have spent months and months working on our cosplay!

I picked Hanzo, since he’s my favourite character- that and I liked the challenge of trying to do the male version! hopefully I did him some justice! even with the silly arrow being toooo big for the bow, and the fact I had to hold the bow a certain way so it didn’t fall apart! so looks kinda akward- should of made it rather than getting 3D printed one :P

 While it might not be perfect, I’m proud of what I achieved! I’m also super proud of my group! Mei, Mercy, Reaper,Tracer,Widow,Mcree,Junkrat and Sombra! special thanks to all the others who joined us! 

It was great that some many other OW cosplayers joined us for photos! and the feedback from people was just incredible!
