orv has this fun problem about how it starts by whole ass bubbling major cities and thus most if not all of the characters have to be in the same place for some reason or the other

like how do you get joe into the washington dome, is doc in the germany dome or is every european in the like london dome for some reason

and those who ARENT in the domes have a BIG disadvantage since they enter 6 scenarios late and thus have piss poor levels in comparison to the ones that have survived for 5 thus far

Kinda wonder what technos starting attribute would be

Actually I know I’ve made a big deal out of sponsors and modifiers but the like base root foundation of the orv au is personal attributes and skills and skills you can have a lot of but an attribute that shit does not change easily and you only get one

Some skills are also dependent on the attribute like Kim namwoons blackening skill which is exclusive to the chuunibyo attribute or that one skill Yoo joonghyuk has that comes from his pro gamer attribute

I don’t even know how to explain attributes so I can’t ask for suggestions

i had a thought about the orv au

the entire thing of orv is that every story has power, with enough people telling the story it becomes real, and with a huge amount of beings talking about the story then the story itself gains life

so the orv au doesnt have to be modern, it doesnt even have to be on earth, the story is the server so the server is real, headcanons of the watchers/audience/constellations hold power so the evo grian and hermitcraft grian are the same, the hermits switch world every season and they remember all of it then that's canon, thats real

the only thing that starstream might not like is the relative immortality what with respawns but they let reincarnation island continue on so like its fine probably

mcc connects a lot of worlds as an event, wilbur and tommy came in the revolutionary outfit that one time, iirc it was an mcc win that made 3rd life ren into the red king, cleo the time witch knows a Lot

orv is all about stories and i totally forgot that

In the orv au I think this is how some of them meet

Cub and scar know each other from before the scenarios and happen to meet up during the 5th scenario (6th? The one after the disasters)

Zed tango impulse and skizz are like friends of friends of each other and are in the same area (maybe a party or something) when the first scenario hits and just kinda sticks together because friends who kill together stay together

Team Canada knew each other well before the scenarios and went looking for the others as soon as they could

Depending on how the domes work (still not figured that out) they run into doc (friend of etho) as well as bdubs and pungence (bdubs being a friend of all of them and pungence being his brother) later on and decide to stick like glue

Techno and Phil meet during the king game and Phil joins technos group, they find the stray kids (wilbur Tommy tubbo and ranboo) after techno wins the absolute throne of their dome

cubs attribute feels like it would be war profiteer ill be honest

scars would be salesman related with related scamming skills and skills to get people to actually listen to him

etho would probably have an exclusive skill relating to how no one knows shit about him, probably stealth or camo related in practice

it would be so funny if doc had the chunibyo attribute because of how much he bigs himself up and how he sometimes talks about the hivemind but i think id get my entire ass beat

x would probably get the unusual adaptability skill that kim namwoon has or something other adaptability related due to the frequent skin changes

cleos attribute would be something about being resurrected, not like zombie but like medically died and was brought back, zombies would add a surprise fourth way of survival into the famously called three ways to survive a ruined world

Second reason an orv au is both hard and interesting is stigmas and sponsors

Cub and scars sponsor is obviously [friends of the same face] (vex) but then there’s tango who with the fire and tech theme might have been sponsored by Hephaestus who’s stigma we don’t know

And Etho… not to love ep404 too much but an author who’s text can change the world (based on the single joke about missing the script) might be his sponsor and like at that point he might as well have signed an outer world covenant

The evo constellations must have an in with the like Single dokkabi there to be able to influence their scenarios that much, I like to believe that the constellations watching evos channel are weirdos outside of the usual categories of watchers and are like the lofi hip-hop beats to study too enjoyers of starstream so they just poke their lil guys sometimes

The listeners are constellations who just have beef because they came in late

imagine if the watchers of evo were from the fucking eden nebula, lesser angels looking at these bastards speedrunning technological evolution on their lil world and trying to impasse Good Moral Judgement by punishing bad behaviour but it ends up causing all the survivors to have a Huge vendetta against the Good alignment

like something something martyn either partnering with a powerful sponsor that lets him move around the universe as he wishes or gunning to become a constellation meanwhile grian somehow gambles his way into becoming a dokkaebi or something because honestly sitting on his ass waiting for the end of scenarios doesnt seem his style even if he Does hate authority
