The Trust - CDrama Recommendation!!!
This post will NOT contain spoilers for the show, just my enthusiasm and spoiler-free screencaps :D
All righty! So I discovered this show on Viki the other day and binged it all in a week (yeah, I might have also been trying to relax my brain from panicking about 2 RBB fics to finish). I've actually had a hard time finishing shows lately - many I look up because there are actors I like but they're in the background and the main protagonists don't interest me much (looking at ChongZi - I wonder if they would issue a "Wang ZhuoCheng" cut without the main couple?). So often I'll look at shows and just give ones a try that sound interesting even if I've heard nothing about them from the peeps I follow on Tumblr or Youtube, and sometimes I hit gold.
What it's about:
The bulk of the story is about a Chinese Emperor and his Empress who've been estranged, and something happens in the first episode that has them switch bodies - yep, an Imperial political/harem drama that does a bodyswap! - and the consequences of this. It's mostly a rom-com type, lots of humour and the occasional silliness with some really good poignant moments, but the main 2 actors are also really good and have great chemistry! Not only do they have to act as their original characters but as each other as well. And there's a neat little thing the show did, that the Imperial storyline is actually fiction, part of a project written by a modern day couple in the middle of a divorce, so often the emotions and such of the Emperor and Empress mirrors that in the modern day couple. I just find it's a neat storytelling device!
As I mentioned, there's also imperial politics (the empress now has to deal with court and courtiers) and harem drama (the emperor now finds out what it's like to be one of his concubines and how they really act when he's not around) and I can't speak to any historical accuracy because it's not my background, but I found it to be very fun to watch.
Why I think my mutuals will like it:
Bodyswap shenanigans!
Good acting
Genuinely funny and made me smile.
... The Untamed/CQL actors!!!!! (Found accidentally, always fun when that happens!)
Aside from the main villain, I came to enjoy all of the characters, even the harem concubines that seemed to be villains in the beginning.
SHIPPABLE AS ALL HELL!!!!
Now let me introduce you to some of my favourite characters and ships because I am SO tempted to write for some of them. -- All images screencapped by me while watching on my PC
Let's start with Emperor Xiao Jinyun and his Empress Xu Yu: they're adorable and sweet together, have very different personalities and aptitudes, and really learned what it's like in the others' shoes. Not tempted to write for them, but I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Tumblr media
Next, THIS PAIR who may very well live rent-free in my brain for a long while to come:
Tumblr media
Recognize the guy on the left? It's our beloved Ouyang Zizhen channelling NHS as the Emperor's useless fan-carrying younger brother! And next to him is the court astrloger/diviner who carries the brain cell between the 2. I lived for every second these two were on screen together. Like this:
Tumblr media
And this:
Tumblr media
And THIS:
Tumblr media
Yeah, I'm dead!!!
But they're not the only ones to pique my interest - nor the only ones with a familiar face! Because there is also these two:
Tumblr media
To the left is the Empress' brother, and to the right... Wen Zhuliu! But no core-melting this time, he actually plays a doctor! And these two are quite sweet as well, like here:
Tumblr media
And here:
Tumblr media
But you know what? Why let the boys have all the fun? Because we also get these two schemers:
Tumblr media
Vying for the Emperor's attention at first, but when his attention is elsewhere, well, girls gotta stick together, right?
Tumblr media
And last but not least, these two - one of whom we've already met:
Tumblr media
I am just SO FUCKING ENAMOURED with them! My bisexual heart is a-fluttering. I won't say anything about the lady on the right because it might be too spoilery, but I was very, very, very pleased with how they handled her storyline (again, I'm white/Canadian so take that with a grain of salt).
If you'd like to give it a try, it can be found on Viki, and I just found it on Youtube with English Subs
So that's my little spoiler-free recommendation! Have I tempted you yet?

Manga the Week of 10/6/21
SEAN: October! Time for scary manga!
ASH: Ooooooo!
MICHELLE: Scary manga and super creeps?
SEAN: Airship has, in print, Monster Musume The Novel – Monster Girls on the Job!, a spinoff of the popular monster girl manga series.
We also get an early digital release for Accomplishments of the Duke’s Daughter 3.
Dark Horse has the 7th Gantz omnibus.
Denpa gives us a 4th volume of Pleasure & Corruption.
Ghost Ship debuts Do You Like Big Girls? (Ookii Onnanoko wa Daisuki Desu ka?), a series that runs in Takeshobo’s Kissca, and combines ‘volleyball manga’ and ‘borderline porn’… well, OK, the porn is like 5/6 of it, the volleyball 1/6. But at least it’s all consensual, that’s a plus.
ASH: That is a plus!
SEAN: Also from Ghost Ship is SUPER HXEROS 4. This actually jumped from Seven Seas’ main label to Ghost Ship before the last volume, so presumably the sexual content also bumped up.
ASH: Sometimes you don’t know where a series is going to go until it goes there.
SEAN: J-Novel Club has lots of stuff, including 3 titles that should have been on last week’s list, apologies, the month change confused me. J-Novel Pulp’s John Sinclair: Demon Hunter 4, The Magician Who Rose From Failure 3, and Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire 2.
As for actual next week stuff, for manga there’s Der Werwolf 3 and Marginal Operation 9.
For light novels, we get Are You Okay With a Slightly Older Girlfriend? 5, Cooking with Wild Game 14, Holmes of Kyoto 6, In Another World with My Smartphone 23, Infinite Dendrogram 15, Monster Tamer 6, and She’s the Cutest… But We’re Just Friends! 2.
Kodansha has print manga for us. There’s Boys Run the Riot 3, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card 10, Orient 5, Rent-a-Girlfriend 9, That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime 17, and Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku 5.
ASH: Boys Run the Riot has been great so far. I’m really looking forward to reading more of Wotakoi, too; it seems like it’s been awhile.
MICHELLE: Hooray for more Wotakoi!
ANNA: Already so behind on Boys Run the Riot.
SEAN: Kodansha’s digital debut is Love After World Domination (Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de), a Weekly Shonen Magazine series about a hero who falls in love with a villainess. I think this is getting an anime.
Also out digitally: Chihayafuru 28, GTO: Paradise Lost 15, I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability 3, My Dearest Self With Malice Aforethought 9, My Sweet Girl 13 (the final volume), My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 6, ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister! 2, Saint Young Men 13, Sweet Sweet Revenge 2 (also a final volume), With the Sheikh in His Harem 6, and Ya Boy Kongming! 5.
MICHELLE: I’m most excited for Chihayafuru, of course, but I did start My Sweet Girl and liked it well enough. Probably I should attempt to finish it.
ANNA: Waves with intention to read one day at Chihayafuru.
SEAN: Seven Seas continues to push out titles after the early September lull. Lots of debuts again.
ASH: Woo! Here we go!
SEAN: DUNGEON DIVE: Aim for the Deepest Level (Isekai Meikyuu no Saishinbu o Mezasou) is an isekai manga from Overlap’s Comic Gardo. Based on an (unlicensed) light novel, its premise is the same as any other manga with ‘isekai’ and ‘dungeon’ in the title.
Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! (Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi) is an isekai manga from Overlap’s Comic Gardo. Not based on a light novel, it has a salaryman summoned by the demon lord to keep her minions in line. This seems like a comedy.
Hitomi-chan is Shy With Strangers (Hitomi-chan wa Hito Mishiri) is NOT an isekai manga from Comic Gardo. This runs in Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross, and seems to be their attempt to do Komi Can’t Communicate with the serial numbers filed off.
Time Stop Hero (Jikan Teishi Yuusha – Yomei 3-ka no Settei ja Sekai o Sukuu ni wa Mijika Sugiru) is an isekai manga from Kodansha’s Shonen Sirius, which seems to combine the subtleties of isekai series with the sensitive and caring aspects of the 1982 sex comedy “Zapped!” starring Scott Baio.
MICHELLE: lol.
MELINDA: I also lol’d.
SEAN: And we have ongoing series. The Ancient Magus’ Bride 15, The Demon Girl Next Door 4, How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord 12, Kageki Shojo!! 2, Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero 2, the third and final volume of Rainbow and Black, and Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs 2.
ASH: Oh, there’s a few ongoing series here that i’m reading; I better get ready!
MICHELLE: I could go for some The Ancient Magus’ Bride.
SEAN: Tokyopop gives us Laughing Under the Clouds 4.
Viz gives us one debut, a Shojo Beat title from Betsuma. My Love Mix-Up! (Kieta Hatsukoi) features a new author but the artist is the one who did My Love Story!!. Guy likes girl, but she seems to like another guy. What’s more, the other guy now thinks that HE likes him. Bisexuality ahoy!
ASH: My Love Story!! is a favorite of mine, in part because of the artwork, so I’m definitely planning on giving this one a try.
MICHELLE: Ooh.
ANNA: Unsurprisingly, me too!
SEAN: Viz has a new My Hero Academia: School Briefs light novel, the 5th in the series. It seems to take place right after the My Villain Academia arc (though is about the heroes, of course).
We also get Blue Exorcist 26, Chainsaw Man 7, Jujutsu Kaisen 12, Moriarty the Patriot 5, One-Punch Man 23, Seraph of the End 22, Spy x Family 6, We Never Learn 18, and Yona of the Dawn 32.
ASH: Solid showing from Viz this coming week.
MICHELLE: No kidding!
ANNA: Yay for more Yona especially.
SEAN: Lastly, there’s Yen Press, who moved a lot of September stuff to October. Yen On’s debut is The Undead King’s Reign of Peace (Fusetsu no Fushiou no Saiseiki), the story of a girl saved by the undead king, a powerful skeleton. (See, more skeletons in light novels.) Sadly, while he wants peace for all, most everyone wants him dead.
ASH: I don’t mind the skeleton trend, honestly.
SEAN: Also from Yen On: Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense 3, Date a Live 3, Hazure Skill: The Guild Member with a Worthless Skill Is Actually a Legendary Assassin 2, The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious 7, High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World! 5, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong As I Expected 12, No Game No Life Practical War Game, Strike the Blood 19, Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town 7, Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina 6, and Woof Woof Story: I Told You to Turn Me Into a Pampered Pooch, Not Fenrir! 7.
No debuts from Yen Press, but we do get Adachi and Shimamura 2, Bungo Stray Dogs 20, Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody 11, I’m the Hero, but the Demon Lord’s Also Me 2, Im: Great Priest Imhotep 11 (the final volume), Love of Kill 4, Plunderer 8, Sunshine Sketch 10 (which, like Yotsuba&!, also had its last volume come out in 2018), The Vampire and His Pleasant Companions 4, and Yowamushi Pedal 18.
ASH: I’ve actually been binging Yowamushi Pedal lately to catch up to this volume.
MICHELLE: I really need to catch up, too! Maybe singing “hime, hime” will help me to do so.
ANNA: My kids are into Yowamushi Pedal so I gotta order that.
SEAN: I think the scariest thing is how big this list is.
ASH: It is pretty big.

101 things I’ve said while playing Persona 5
((Me and my siblings play persona sometimes when we’re real tired. I’m bad at video games. It’s a fun time.))
Yes, I did name my protag Enrique De Garza. I have headcannons about the spanish crimeboy if people want them.
1.       *Long and drawn out conversation about sexual favors on the school rooftop*
2.       *Torero (by Chayanne) lyrics* “Appropriate music.”
3.       “I’m blind and I don’t understand…”
4.       “What is Shakira doing right now?” “Body rolls?” *Sings Tight pants / Body rolls really loudly and obnoxiously*
5.       “There are two periods in the day: morning and even—” “I just want to be friends with my dad, okay?”
6.       “I want kindness! I wanna work at the flower shop!” “Nope, flower shop gives you kindness. You want charm.” “FUCK!”
7.       “What do we do in these safe rooms?” “MAKE LOVE”
8.       “I’m deaf. I’m deaf, I’m blind, I’m a baby kitten.”
9.       “David, you’re in my shirt.”
10.   “Ambush him!” “HAH!” *Opens menu* “…Fuck.”
11.   “Oh no, Ryuji’s dead. What can I do?” “Items. Or you can use skills if you have them. Or you can just kill him.” “WHAT?!”
12.   “Y’know, the Hairies are weak to gun. … Wait.”
13.   “Great, only one of my people has a brain, and that’s… Ryuji.”
14.   “Our father, who art in heaven, Safe Mode be thy name…”
15.   *Fergalicious lyrics* “Appropriate music.  I make the best playlists.”
16.   “I hope you’re happy with yourself. You were ambushed by two guys in flip-flops.”
17.   “I don’t wanna go back to the boobs…”
18.   “Menacing Owlman.” “Tag yourself. OMG. TAG YOURSELF.”
19.   “Well, obviously. It’s an authority figure. We need Ryuji.”
20.   “I mean… Ryuji’s tits are pretty fine, soo…”
21.   “Does it bother you that Igor goes *clacks teeth like a dinosaur* and still manages to make M and N sounds?”
22.   “Your BOY needs to chill the fuck out.” “My BOY takes after ME. I’m not sure he CAN.” “… Also your boy doesn’t say fuck.”
23.   “You aren’t allowed up here.” “Yeah, but what about the secret blowjobs? Can’t do that in the library, Makoto.”
24.   “I didn’t know we could make a bus uncomfortable.” “Bus blowjobs. Super secret.”
25.   “This just in: Ryuji is actually several majestic flip-flaps in a trench coat.”
26.   “Can I take a bath? I haven’t taken a bath in two weeks.” “YOU SMEEELLLLYY!”
27.   *Ann threatens to tear down Madarame’s shack* “Also, tearing that house down probably involves breathing lightly on the walls.”

29.   “You know, cats can’t equip undies.” “Shame.”
30.   “Yeah, I do like your lady’s dress, Iwai.”
31.   “Y’all, I got three boys in undies who’re ready to fight.”

35.   “It’s called PAINting for a reason!!!”
36.   “That will be your exfiltration route.” “I hate that.”

39.   “Coffee Dad is unimpressed with my choice of friends.” “Your friends are unimpressed with your choice of friends.  Look at Yusuke.”
40.   “Does she actually day-dream about Ryuji?” “Only angstily.”
41.   “Oh, he’s actually going to corner me in a broom closet.” “Actually, I think you’re the one cornering him in a broom closet, but that’s beside the point.”
42.   “Is Enrique a dick?”
43.   “Enrique, being the bisexual beast that he is…”
44.   “Has the prick been bothering you, Yusuke?  Do we need to go on a date to take your mind off it?”
45.   “If anyone was a hooker, you’d expect it to be Ryuji…wait.”
46.   “We pray for the skinny gays, and hope that they learn…something.”
47.   “I feel like they’ve become my Tamogachis.  I need to feed them…”
48.   “Where is the D?” “Down at the top.”
49.   “’I walked Yusuke back to the station.’ Like a good date.” “We then made out obscenely in the train station.” “We made everyone uncomfortable.” “It was great.”
50.   “I’m sorry Ann, this is a boys-only treehouse.” “Except for Makoto.” “Oh, yeah.”
51.   “’Show me your true form!’” “NO!!”
52.   “Ruyji is blinged the fuck out. Like, look at him.” “He’s also inside you.”
53.   “It’s called High Pixie, and not… some mean name.”
54.   “Why is my boy so elegant?” “He does the Naruto run. It makes me angry.”
55.   “What about my security!?” “It was a bitch… But I’m bitchier.”
56.   “I am that jiggly sinner elephant.”
57.   “Where’s the *pterodactyl screech*??”
58.   “Stop giving genders to inanimate objects.” “Fuck you, I do what I want.”
59.   “And here we see the wild Joker, knocked on his ass.” “Isn’t he pretty?”
60.   “Yusuke! Where in your space pants are you keeping an assault rifle?”
61.   “You can’t make Ryuji hungry! He’s always hungry. It’s like trying to make the hulk mad.”
62.   “It’s knowledge going up, not charm…” “It’s always charm with Enrique.”
63.   “Oh, OK. So you’ve got eight days until your nudes are leaked.”
64.   *Mona, wearing a rainbow afro* “Wait, guys, something isn’t right…”
65.   “How do I get rid of the slime?” “You say ‘Release the Slime.’”
66.   “I like the one where Ryuji yodels and Ann tells him he’s cute.”
67.   “What? You don’t want to teach Zorro to break wind?”
68.   “Is that an assault rifle in your space pants or are you just happy to see me?”
69.   “If I wasn’t so opulent, I’d be a bit more peeved.”
70.   “Hey, Mishima. You want to join the harem?”
71.   “Yusuke, if you want to draw sexual tension, you have friends for that…”
72.   “Exactly. He’s a bus, and the wheels on the bus go round and round, motherfucker.”
73.   “Ugh, you scared him away!” “He can’t help it. Ryuji is spooky.”
74.   “WE NEED AS MANY PHANTOM THEIVES AS YEW CAN THROU DAUN”
75.   “So Yusuke is now lightly boiled…” “You mean…sleeping?”
76.   “Sword, how do you feel about smacking dem snake tiddies?”
77.   “You scared him off with your fuckin’ snoring, ya spoopy bastard.”
78.   “Fuck off, Kris. We can’t all have a level five knowledge stat, so shut your damn nose.”
79.   “Fuck, I just made out with Ann too. Accidentally. … Shit.”
80.   *continues to be distraught about having Ann as a side ho*
81.   “Yeah, Ryuji will just bust a move up in here and it’ll be shocking! …Ha! Puns.” *Nobody laughs*
82.   *Competent players having a legit conversation about comparative SP usage* “Hey! Can I talk to the box?!?” “… No.”
83.   “What? Your teammates? That one’s a mouse now, because fuck him, and your other guy friend? He is now a beautiful snake.”
84.   “You know what else is really beautiful?” “Mishima?” “ME.”
85.   *Far too many dick monster jokes for general health*
86.   “Damnit, they aren’t weak to smack!”
87.   “First I had to convince Sojiro to let me keep a cat, now I have to convince Sojiro to let me keep a Yusuke…”
88.   “Why do I get the sense you’re enjoying this?” “Because he’s fucking the culprit!”
89.   “I do want to spent my Hot Night with the Mishiman.”
90.   “Oh, hi Akechi.” “What?” “You see the guy buying Cinnabuns? Right there?”
91.   “Urgh… Morgana just needs to chill his beans.” “BEANS???”
92.   “They give you great spiritual power…” “And gas.”
93.   “No, I do not like that Fox. I would like him… in a box.”
94.   “Ya done spooked the Ryooj…”
95.   “Oh, yeah. Sae is ready to cut a bitch.” “And that bitch is Akechi.”
96.   “You wanna say that a little louder, Akechi? For the people in the back? Especially your…self.”
97.   *To Iwai* “You betcha, sweetums! …that is not the right name for you, sir. I’m so sorry.”
98.   “Fuck off, Friendly Girl.” “That was rude!” “Well, she was rude to me, so she’s not very friendly.”
99.   “God, Kawakami… It’s fine. I brought condoms.
100.   *Competent players having a legit discussion about social link points* “GUYS, we need to focus more on the important issue at hand! Mishima is still wearing clothes??” “… what?”
101.  “Yusuke doesn’t have cleavage!”

Notes for 2016 anime post. Only read under that context.
·         HaruChika: Haru and, the show’s lead heroine, Chika are both crushing on the same teacher, so there’s a bit of a love triangle going on. Don’t worry; the teacher never ends up with either of them and they’re both precocious crushes if anything.
·         Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: On the image, only the character to the left, Kikiuhiko, would be considered in the LGBT spectrum. The show is a tragedy detailing his backstory surrounding a woman and his best friend. He is not outright stated to be gay within in the show, but there are a lot of visual cues and subtextual evidence to back it up. So much so that nearly every essay and analyses dissecting this show are seen through an LGBT lens. (My personal favorite is ANN’s episode review guide.) Moreover, the original mangaka is known exclusively for her BL stories and the fandom has unanimously agreed that this is an LGBT story, so make of that if you will.
·         This Boy is a Professional Wizard: A four episode 13-minute short miniseries. This is the fourth entry in Soubi Yamamoto’s “This Boy…” series which are all fluffy BL romances.
·         Doukyuusei: Movie
·         Concrete Revolutio: Aki only appears as a minor unnamed antagonist in the first season (which aired in 2015). Even when she is reintroduced in the second season, she only appears for about 3 episodes. She is however, important to the storyline. Also, this show is…er…very dense. I recommend you read historical essays or very top notch episode analyses as you go along to understand what’s going on.
·         Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto: Acchan’s a very prominent side character. He’s adorable.
·         Kiznaiver: This relationship is presented in a very “tragic lesbians” way. There’s still no denying that it happened and it’s important to the story though. Personally, I found Kiznaiver to be very dumb, mean spirited, and up its own ass, but more people seem to love than hate it, so what do I know?
·         Macross Delta: Very important side characters.
·         Sailor Moon Crystal: No need to explain.
·         Tanaka-kun is Always Listless: The show flip flopped on the nature of their relationship a lot. They’re very cute together and are well loved in the fandom however. The show itself is cute and inoffensive, but as for complete legitimacy of their relationship, tread with caution.
·         Battery the Animation: This show is written from the same author of “No. 6” which is pretty famous in the anime community for introducing a non-fetishized gay male couple in a story that didn’t necessarily focus on their relationship even before “Yuri on Ice” did it. “Battery” however is in the same boat as “Rakugo”. Don’t quote me on this, but I’ve been told their relationship was toned down from print to screen.
·         Cute High Earth Defense Club Love!:The Beppu brothers have a very creepy crush on the main character’s older brother. What makes them different from stereotypical gay panic type villain characters however is that they are not defined by gay stereotypes but by their pettiness, childishness, and transparent classiness. They are a delight; my favorite anime villains from 2016.
·         Dangan Ronpa 3: I FUCKING LOVE JUZO SAKAKURA. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN REMOTELY CONTROL OUR BOY JUZO? NO THERE ISN’T. JUZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Despair Arc also contains an caricatural bisexual character, Teruteru (he thankfully doesn’t get much focus), and whatever the fuck Komaeda is.
·         Flip Flappers: One of the major themes beneath the truckloads of abstraction and symbolism in this show is Cocona’s coming out story. During its fall run, people jokingly said it was in competition with “Yuri on Ice” to trying to “out gay” each other each week, and coincidentally, it confirmed its LGBT themes the same week “Yuri on Ice” had its kiss scene.
·         Gakuen Handsome: This is a parody of BL dating sims. It fit into my “not offensive” criteria. Please watch it. Don’t ask questions, just watch it.
·         Izetta the Last Witch: “Izetta”’s a bit complicated. The romance is very much there, but this show is very obviously aimed towards cishet dudes. I’ve seen a lot of debate for this show, and hey, if you feel validated and empowered by it, no one’s stopping you from feeling that way.
·         Kiss Him Not Me: The “gay option” in Kae’s harem is treated on equal footing with all of the guys. I’ve never seen that happen before. Be warned; the last few episodes introduces a male bisexual character who leans towards the predatory side.
·         Magical Girl Raising Project: Side characters.
·         Show By Rock!!: Nothing ever really comes of it, but Retoree’s constant infatuation towards Cyan is a cute recurring gag. This doggy’s very thirsty for the kitty.
·         Sound Euphonium: There is so much violent discourse for and against “Sound Euphonium” that I can only suggest that you watch and judge it for yourself and then never ever talk to anyone online about it.
·         Yuri on Ice: Yeah.
·         Classicaloid: This one’s weird and I wouldn’t have put it here if it weren’t for me desperately trying to amend “Gundam” into here. The show is about reincarnated classical music composers and Franz Liszt is reincarnated as a woman rather than a man. The show acknowledges this too. She’s still attracted to women and seems more than happy to tell Kanae about that time she stole her buddy Chopin’s wife. The whole “the original composer wasn’t gay, but this anime version of them is” thing is the main reason I was initially reluctant to put this here. Not pictured: Tchaikovsky is also reincarnated as a girl, a fact that is acknowledged, and is still attracted to dudes (Tchaikovsky was gay in real life).
·         Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans: Side characters. Shino, the boy on the left, was confirmed as bisexual by his voice actor. Yamagi, on the right, is allegedly gay, but somehow, it is easier to find confirmation that he is attracted to Shino than it is to find confirmation that he is attracted to dudes.
·         Nanbaka: Hitoshi only appears in the first the first episode of season 1, but returns as a full-fledged recurring character at the start of season 2 (winter 2017 season). The main cast is initially caught off guard by their gender reveal, but they are otherwise treated respectfully afterwards. They are adorable. Additionally, there is much debate over whether or not the main character, Jyuugo’s, claim to be bisexual was meant to be a joke or not.
