The other thing that makes me insane about Novel Qin Su is that she not only loves and respects JGY on his own merits before he has any status, but she is the one person to fight for him who had something to lose! She puts her reputation and social standing on the line (and her birthright itself, because her parents could have disowned her for disgracing them!) and the only thing she stands to gain is the chance to marry him!
