Somehow I now halfway through Avataro Sentai Donbrothers
And I am loving every moment of it
#avataro sentai donbrothers#donbrothers#super sentai#i am not even really a fan of sentai lol. i liked timeranger but every other show i tried just didn't click with me#because of a lot of the staple tropes of sentai that i just personally dislike#except kamen rider grabbed all those tropes and dove off a cliff with them#meanwhile toshiki inoue came back to write for sentai and everything i was seeing about donbrothers just made me really intrigued#i like inoue's shows even if they have elements i don't care for#and apparently he was the head writer for galaxy angel a show i absolutely adore (though no one is credited for individual eps :/)#(seriously i need to know if he wrote ep 13!!!)#donbros has a really fun cast and is genuinely hilarious#it may be a bit light on overall plot but the individual stories are fun and it's nice to see the team sloooooooooooowly come together#i just wish inubrother could join them already ;w;#tsubasa deserves good things!#aaanyway i probably need to check out jetman & kiva at some point
